Assure Day 1: 
A- Analyze the Learner 
I will be teaching a class of twenty- two students, twelve boys and ten girls, eighteen 
white, two Asian, and two African American. 
S- State the Objective 
My class will be able to adequate explain and full comprehend all five acts of Romeo and 
Juliet, understands the differences in modern day relationships and the relationships in Shakespeare 
times, and understand and learn basic facts about the Globe Theater. My class will be learning these 
things by a wide variety of different task and assignments such as making a YouTube video, listening 
to a podcast, discuss blogs, complete web quest, create a web design, use social media, and use 
Photoshop. They will complete this by the end of the fifth day with 90 percent accuracy. 
S- Select the 3 M’s 
The Methods we are going to use though out this lesson will be group work, critical 
thinking, listening, and active learning. The Medias that we will use will be YouTube, Podcast, blogs, 
web quest, web design, social media, and will also use Photoshop. The materials we will need to 
complete this will be a smart board, computer or tablet, the book Romeo and Juliet, and paper and 
pencil. 
U- Utilize Media and Materials 
The way to prepare the materials being used to play them before the classes arrive, also 
have a backup files of all the YouTube videos and Podcast, also have paper copies of all web 
quest and blogs. 
R-Require Learner Participation 
To keep the students active, their evaluations will be based on how detailed their 
assignments and ho active they are in the classroom discussions. Giving the students something to 
do at all times and keeping them busy with work that matters to them so that they stay interacted 
within the lesson. 
E-Evaluate and Revise 
Evaluate the pros and cons of each media and material used and make sure backups are 
always adequate and will fulfill the day’s lessons and objectives presented.
