 Teaching Approach: based on Communicative approach and PPP method.
 Materials and resources: computer- song “hello” taken from teacher’s
magazine- box of 1 to 12 flashcards- playing time : a memory game- tape-
“good-bye” taken from YouTube.
 Pedagogical use of ICT in class: In this lesson, children will listen to the hello
song and good-bye song from my computer.
 Seating arrangement: For better organization, children will sit on their chair
and then they will stand up to participate in a memory game in pairs. I’ll call
one boy and one girl to play the game.
 Cooperative work: learners of this age are in the parallel play stage, which
means they can play together, but still find it difficult to carry out group work
activities.
 Possible problems/difficulties and possible solutions in the class: If they do
not understand all the instructions in English, I will use body gestures, miming
and modeling to aid comprehension.
 Assessment: what will be assessed and how. I’ll check if children comprehend
and identify numbers by showing them flashcards.
Routine: 5’
I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: “Hello! How are you today?” “I’m fine”
“And you?”
I’ll invite children to sing a new “hello” song.
I’ll ask students to sit and we’ll sing the song. I will show them a picture while we are
singing “I’mfine, I’m fine” in order to promote a positive action and joy.

Transition: Well done kids! Excellent!
Warm-up 5’:
I’ll show children 1 to 5 flashcards numbers and I will say.
“Do you remember this number?” I’ll show number 1 (they’ll probably say “Yes”)
Okay. Repeat number one. It’s number one
Then, I’ll show number two. Okay! “What about this one?” “What number is it?”
(They’ll probably say number 2). Great! Repeat, It’s number two.
Now, I’ll show number three. What number is it? (They’ll probably say three) Yes! Very
good! It’s number three.
I’ll show number four. What number is it? (They’ll probably say four) Yes! It’s four.
Repeat, please.
Last, I’ll show number five. Look at this number. “What number is it?” (They’ll probably
say five). Yes children! It’s five.
Then, I’ll mix the five numbers and I’ll act as I was dizzy.
I’ll take flashcard number one I’ll say LOOK! IT’S NUMBER FOUR. (Student’s reaction
will be very funny, they‘ll probably say, nooooo! It’s one!) Oh, yes! You’re right. It’s
one. I’ll take number two and I’ll say again LOOK! IT’S NUMBER THREE. (They’ll say no
teacher, It’s two) and I’ll do the same with the other numbers.
Finally, I’ll say “Okay.” “Let’s count together: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, and FIVE”
Transition: Great children!
Presentation 10’:
First, I’ll show a box presenting 6 to 12 flashcards numbers individually on each table
(groups of 5 children)
Then, I’ll stick number six on the board and I’ll say “Look!” “This is number six”.
Repeat, please. Six!
I’ll stick number seven on the board and I’ll say “Look!” “This is number seven” Repeat
“seven”
I’ll do the same action with numbers eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve.
Once they have gained confidence with these numbers, I’ll ask children to count them
aloud.
Development 10’:
 Activity 1 - 5’:
Transition: “Okay!” “Let’s play, now”
I’ll invite children to play a memory game. It’s children’s favourite game and it’ll
be very easy to play.
I’ll assign two players (one boy and one girl) so they’ll play against each other.
The first player will choose a card and turn it over. The other player will select
another card and turn it over. If the two cards are a matching pair, they take
the two cards and start again. If the cards are not a matching pair, I’ll call
another boy and another girl to play.
 Activity 2 - 5’:
I’ll invite children to cover their eyes.
I’ll take out a number and they’ll guess which number is missing.
Transition: “Ok, children” “Super!”
 Closure - 5’:
I will look at my watch and I will say “Oh, It’s the time children”. Let’s listen to the
goodbye song.

  • 4.  Pedagogical use of ICT in class: In this lesson, children will listen to the hello song and good-bye song from my computer.  Seating arrangement: For better organization, children will sit on their chair and then they will stand up to participate in a memory game in pairs. I’ll call one boy and one girl to play the game.  Cooperative work: learners of this age are in the parallel play stage, which means they can play together, but still find it difficult to carry out group work activities.  Possible problems/difficulties and possible solutions in the class: If they do not understand all the instructions in English, I will use body gestures, miming and modeling to aid comprehension.  Assessment: what will be assessed and how. I’ll check if children comprehend and identify numbers by showing them flashcards. Routine: 5’ I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: “Hello! How are you today?” “I’m fine” “And you?” I’ll invite children to sing a new “hello” song. I’ll ask students to sit and we’ll sing the song.   • 7. Then, I’ll mix the five numbers and I’ll act as I was dizzy. I’ll take flashcard number one I’ll say LOOK! IT’S NUMBER FOUR. (Student’s reaction will be very funny, they‘ll probably say, nooooo! It’s one!) Oh, yes! You’re right. It’s one. I’ll take number two and I’ll say again LOOK! IT’S NUMBER THREE. (They’ll say no teacher, It’s two) and I’ll do the same with the other numbers. Finally, I’ll say “Okay.” “Let’s count together: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, and FIVE” Transition: Great children! Presentation 10’: First, I’ll show a box presenting 6 to 12 flashcards numbers individually on each table (groups of 5 children)
  • 8. Then, I’ll stick number six on the board and I’ll say “Look!” “This is number six”. Repeat, please. Six! I’ll stick number seven on the board and I’ll say “Look!” “This is number seven” Repeat “seven” I’ll do the same action with numbers eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve. Once they have gained confidence with these numbers, I’ll ask children to count them aloud. Development 10’:  Activity 1 - 5’: Transition: “Okay!” “Let’s play, now” I’ll invite children to play a memory game. It’s children’s favourite game and it’ll be very easy to play.
  • 9. I’ll assign two players (one boy and one girl) so they’ll play against each other. The first player will choose a card and turn it over. The other player will select another card and turn it over. If the two cards are a matching pair, they take the two cards and start again. If the cards are not a matching pair, I’ll call another boy and another girl to play.  Activity 2 - 5’: I’ll invite children to cover their eyes. I’ll take out a number and they’ll guess which number is missing.
