Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

4. Pedagogical use of ICT: no use
Seating arrangement:
The lesson depends on the availability of the kinder. There is the possibility that we cannot use the
classroom, so we have to move to the music classroom as we did last class. If this is so, we have to work on
the floor.
Otherwise:
During the routine stage students will make a circle.
During the presentation , controlled practice and closure stages Students will be sat at their tables. The
Teacher will be stand up a chair conducting the activity.
Cooperative work: Children will work as a class.
Possible problems and possible solutions regarding behaviour: Ss have shown to be respectful and
behave properly. There are one or two students who are constantly getting up, even with their teacher. The
only way to deal with them is to tell them to sit down,
Potential problems students may have with the language: Students this age (especially as they have not
had any contact with the language before) may experience a silent period. Therefore, chances are that they
refuse to answer to either the Teacher or the puppet’s questions in English, and prefer doing it in their L1 or
simply using their body language.
T will take that as a signal of comprehension and keep on trying to communicate in the target language. That is
to say, it is ok for children to draw to their mother tongue to achieve communication, but the teacher should
keep on using the target language.

5. Assessment: What will be assessed and how: I will monitor that Ss enjoy this class as well as their oral
production.
Routine (5’)
Aim: To get Student’s s’ attention and arrange them to start the lesson. To establish rapport.
T will enter the room and greet the Ss with a warm “Hello!”
I will invite the children to sing the hello song .
Transition: Teacher: Hello, children!
Ss (EA): Hole/hello/ (silence)
T: How are you today? Fine?
(T puts her two thumbs up and shows a smile)
Ss (EA): is/fine/ thumbs up/ a smile.
T: That’s great!
(Smiling)
Teacher: Let’s sing the Hello song! Up! Here in the centre. One two, three:

6. PRESENTATION
Perhaps as I mention Teddy and the Word birthday the students sing the Happy birthday song. I allow it, because I
consider they enjoy it. Then we count the numbers 1 – 6 pulling Teddy’s ears.
Today during the presentation stage I will wear a black magician’s hat pretending I am a magician that came to
Teddy’s birthday. Inside the hat I will have cards with the numbers 1-6, the toys, and the colours. I will say
Abracadabra!!! And then I will take the items one by one telling the children what are these items are:
Transition Hello! I am a magician!!! Look! This is my hat! I have a surprise here. Let’s see.
This is a ball! Repeat
(I will show the toys (Teddy’s presents : of a ball, and then I will repeat the same procedure with the rest of the toys)
(then I will take flashcards with the colours)
Transition: This is colour red. Repeat.
(students are supposed to repeat red)
( and I will repeat the same procedure with the rest of the colours)
Then I will take flashcards with the numbers 1 – 6)
Transition: and here I have … the numbers, look! Let’s count: one
(I will take the several cards and I will count the items with the children)
CONTROLLED PRACTICE
Activity 1
Students will be sat at their tables, I will provide them with colour pencils, or they will use their owns, because some of
them have got their own pencilcases.
I will give the students a worksheet with 6 planes, six dinosaurs, six dolls and six ball. I will dictate to them. They
will have to count and paint according to the instructions:
Jardín de Infantes Nº 901 – Paula Albarracín
Proyecto de Ingles :
Dictation:
Paint: 2 blue planes - 5 green dinosaurs - 4 yellow dolls - 3 red balls
6
7. CLOSURE
Once the students all together will count and say:
2 blue planes - 5 green dinosaurs - 4 yellow dolls - 3 red balls
Once they finish the activity, I will make a signal of comprehension that the class has come to an end. I will
invite them to sing the goodbye song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCr2t34vkIE
Then before I leave I will give them a lollipop as a present, because this is my last lesson.
