Ergonomics - a New ‘Delighter’ to Engage and Safeguard Your EmployeesYOGESH TADWALKAR
Ergonomics is the science of improving employee postures, making jobs less strenuous and preventing long-term musculoskeletal injuries. Today, more and more organizations in South East Asia are embracing Ergonomics to make workplaces safer, prevent accidents and lower workers’ compensation costs.
However, beyond these strong business benefits, human resource professionals are discovering the hidden value of Ergonomics in boosting staff morale, enhancing workforce productivity and increasing employee retention. A well-designed Ergonomics program offers employees a totally unique, refreshing perspective about work and themselves – a stimulation unmatched by traditional employee engagement initiatives; which often lack originality and intrinsic value today’s discerning employees seek.
Through insightful case studies, this talk will share what Ergonomics is and how it can provide HR Directors and business leaders with the much sought-after ‘wow factor’ to engage and enrich employees in innovative ways.

The advent of JavaScript applications means that we need to make sure we evolve our thinking on how to develop accessible experiences on top of the web platform. Just as we no longer design static visual experiences and instead plan for motion in our applications, we also need to spend the same intentionality designing and building experiences for users of assistive technology.
You'll leave this presentation with a new approach to thinking about building web applications.

Unveiling the Secrets How Does Generative AI Work.pdfSam H
At its core, generative artificial intelligence relies on the concept of generative models, which serve as engines that churn out entirely new data resembling their training data. It is like a sculptor who has studied so many forms found in nature and then uses this knowledge to create sculptures from his imagination that have never been seen before anywhere else. If taken to cyberspace, gans work almost the same way.

These Anthropometric Tables ( from HumanScale 1990, NASA 1987) are relatively easy to use Review the letters relative to the body part you are considering with your design. Match the letters to the numbers on the charts on the following page Consider the percentage of population you are accommodating
What is the lowest height a box should be during frequent lifts to a pallet or worksurface? How high should a worksurface be? Is there anything else you need do know when determining working heights?
Consider the body dimension you need to know for your office or seated workstation. Match the letters to the letters on the Matrix which follows. Remember , Anthropometric Tables should be considered whether you are trying to improve productivity and quality, prevent accidents and injuries or accommodate an employee back to the workplace following injury/illness
