HERITAGE- It is not only about built heritage but includes certain distinctive open areas, neighborhoods, and environs
which are of historical, aesthetic,
cultural or sociological interest and
value which we would like to preserve
for the posterity as they enrich our
history and traditions.Heritage characteristics to be
preserved or conserved are
identified as elevational features,
floor heights, cornices, special
carvings designs, motifs,
architectural style, roof-scape
etc.
Conserving and preserving the
Heritage of our historical possession
in its pristine and original form, so
that it continues to portray its original
beauty, distinctive character, unique
style or use or association with a
distinctive historical personality or
event
Conservation is not just a result of few years but work and dedication of centuries. With every good, there certainly follows bad but focusing on the positives and addressing the bad is what drives us to the future; in this case the future for our past.
Nature and Psychological Comfort: Biophilic ArchitecturePrabal Dahal
Bachelors' Level Directed Studies Research Presentation on how nature can bring about comfort to human beings done as a part of semester report for partial fulfillment of requirements of Bachelors of Architecture Degree at Kathmandu Engineering College, Tribhuvan University.
Thesis Orientation for Architecture Students (B. Arch.)Rohit Raka
The presentation elaborates on as to how to select a thesis topic for the final year in architecture. It also majorly discusses on how to select a topic and steps that should be taken to make your dissertation report successful one.
The presentation lecture was made for the B. Arch final year students of J. N. E. C., Department of Architecture (2017-18), Aurangabad. I although hope that this presentation would be helpful for the students all over the world in terms of 'Selection of Topic' for their thesis.

f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. In this talk we'll compare measures that are effective against static attackers and how to battle a dynamic attacker who adapts to your counter-measures.
