Analysis results
- 1. My results showedthat a lot more females I know watch more horror films than men as I asked only people who liked horror films to answer my questionnaire to get a more In depth knowledge on what people think on specifically horror films and not just films in general.
- 2. My results showedthat most people equally preferred; Gore and disturbing, psychological, Paranormal, and comedy horror films. None of the people who took my survey chose; monster, sinister, and action. This may sway me to choose a higher voted type of horror when thinking about the plot of my trailer.
- 3. This tells methat when making my trailer I should add a good soundtrack to it to attract more people as 100% of people who took the survey believed its important to the trailer.
- 4. Majority of peopleaccess films from watching them on Netflix.
- 5. Majority of peoplepreferred fiction horror over true story. This has made me think that I would rather make my trailer around a fictional story.
- 6. A lot ofpeople described how they like their horror movies as suspenseful with loads of jump scares. This makes me want to add eerie music and a couple jump scares in my trailer to make more people interested in watching it.
- 7. Like I saidin the slide before, a lot of people are more interested in suspenseful and jump scare type of horror movies.
- 8. People mostly watch horrorfilms 1-3 times a week. The most people watch horror films are 7-9 times a month.
- 9. My line graphshoes the people who watch horror films are mainly 15-24. Because of this I will target the age of my audience to be 15-24.
- 10. This shows thata lot of people have very different types of horror movie preference. However I think this also shows that people are open to all types of horror whichever one I choose to do
