Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. FRONT COVER
This front cover has a very strong image
on it. The artists has a consistent
background and stands out from it. He is
carrying a guitar which tells you about
the style of music that he will be playing
and his clothing also tells you this. He is
not looking into the camera which gives
you a distant feel which makes the music
more mysterious. The writing is simple
and stands out from the background,
however I am going to make mine bigger
as you cannot clearly see what it says
from a distance and it isn't very bold to
grab a readers attention. The setting
being a plain brick wall also makes the
artist more down to earth and relatable
to the audience as its just a plain brick
wall, nothing special about it.
3. INSIDE LEFT
The inside left has the
guitar which was features
on the front cover and
also the same back
ground. This makes the
digi pack more consistent
and one house style. The
text is also the same as
on the front but is not very
clear as it is very small.
When I make mine, I will
make it more clear so the
audience can clearly see
the writing.
4. INSIDE RIGHT
The inside right is the
same brick wall that is on
the rest of the digipack.
This makes the entire
product consistent giving
it a professional look. The
use of a plain brick wall
makes it down to earth
again and makes the
audience more
connection to the music.
Also it is intrecate yet
simple so it has detail.
5. BACK
The back has another
picture of the artist on it.
This is a similar stance to
the one on the front but is
different and has different
clothing. The text again
isn't very clear but is neat
to looks good. There is
also a bar code which is a
convention of digipacks.
Again, the brick wall back
ground is continued all
the way through giving it a
house style that is simple.
6. SIDE
The side of the digi pack
has clear bold writing
which is the same as all
the other text so follows
a house style as well as
the brick wall being
consistent. This will
stand out to people who
pass the CD as it is
quite bold and easy to
read.
