The front cover features a simple image of Beyoncé from a low angle to make her seem superior, with her name written across the top in big black letters. The light green color scheme links the pictures. On the back, Beyoncé is shot from behind in revealing clothes, presented in a sexual way. Unlike other digipaks, her image is also used on the disk itself to help sell the album.

2. The front cover of this digipak is very simple, as it just
features a picture of the artist, Beyoncé in the centre of the
page, with her hands above her head. She isn’t looking at
the camera which makes her seem careless and
independent. She is shot from a low angle to make her
seem more superior and important.
Her name is written in big black sans-serif writing across the
top of both the front and back of the album, but is being
overlapped by the images to show that she is such a big
name that all the letters don’t need to be visible because
her fans automatically know who she is.
The colour scheme is a light green colour which runs in the
background of all the pictures, showing that they are all
linked because of the consistency.
On the back cover, the image of the artist is her staring out
over a view. She is shot from behind and is wearing
revealing clothes and high heels, which presents her in a
sexual way, reaching out to both females, who can idolise
her, and males who would like this.
Unlike other digipaks, an image of the artist has been used
on the disk itself, which implies that they are using the
artists image to try and sell the album.
3. This digipak is very dark and only used the colours black and white
to highlight that the 1975 are a very abstract alternative band and
gives the impression that their music is going to be quite gothic
and dark, but also a bit vintage. The front cover stands out
because of the illuminated white light around a box, making the
artists name jump out at you and look very retro. The font used is
typically associated with the band so is easily distinguishable to
their fans.
The inside of the digipak is almost identical with the illuminated
box on the front cover, but instead has all the tracks listed inside it
so the audience know what music is on the disc. This keeps a
consistent theme on the style of the cover so its clear it is all
linked.
The back of the digipak is very simple, with simple font, and a
black background, because it doesn’t need to stand out as much as
other aspects of the digipak as you have already caught the
audiences eyes. The disc is also really simple, with different
colours of black being used to emphasize how alterative their
music is.
4. On the front cover, the artist David Guetta is portrayed as a
very casual, relatable person because of his laid back look –
sunglasses and a t-shirt. This could appeal to the younger
generations which his music is primarily aimed at.
His name is written in the font that is associated with his
image, and is seen on all his album covers. However, the
text ‘one love’ is written in a purple graffiti font to make it
stand out from the black and white front cover and suggests
that the artist is quite fun and laid back.
The ‘one love’ font is also featured on the back of the
digipak to link them together and keep up with the black,
white and pink colour scheme. There is a list of songs on
the back too to sow the audience the tracks that are
available in the cd, these are written in the same
typography as the ‘David Guetta’ font as even without
looking at the front cover, it will be fairly obvious who the
artist is.
The design of the actual disc is very messy as it is filled with
pink and black graffiti font, which makes it look urban and
cool, relating to a younger audience.
5. The front cover of this album cover is quite simple, but gives off a really elegant feel because of the artists positioning. Ariana Grande is sitting
on a stool looking down, which makes her look really innocent and cutesy, which is the impression she constantly tries to give off with her
image. The soft purple colour in the background connotes luxury and ambition, making the artist seem like a high status celebrity, and making
the black and white image of her stand out more. The title of the album and the artist name is written is font along the middle of the cover,
and is really delicate and clear font, so it looks classy and doesn’t overpower the main image.
The back of the digipak also used the same soft purple colour, with the names of the songs listed on top of it, which links this music with the
artist. The lack of colour and simplicity is really effective because then the most attention is drawn to the front cover image of the artist.
On the CD, there is a really abstract black and purple image of Ariana Grande which is quite hard to make out so it seems really interesting and
intriguing to the audience. I think the constant colour scheme represents the artist as someone who is consistently bringing out new,
sophisticated music.
