Descriptive study conducted between 01/11/2012 and 31/08/2014 with authorization of the Directorate-General of Prison Services (DGSP), Ministry of Justice.
Objective: to define the socio-demographical, clinical and legal profile of the inmate at the Psychiatric Consultation of the Leiria Prison Facility.
Method: the data were collected by consulting inmates´ individual clinical and legal files and a formulary was designed and filled for this purpose, with the chosen socio-demographical, clinical and legal items.
Program used IBM SPSS Statistics 20.
