Introduction
I know that this conflict between America and Afghanistan has been going on since
2001 after the September 11 attacks on the U.S. Pentagon and the New York Twin
Towers. It was shortly after this that then President George W. Bush requested the
Taliban to turn in Osama bin Laden for his role in orchestrating the attack. As
expected the Talibanwould not cooperate and hand him over the United States
officials. President George W Bush then called in air strikes around October of 2001.
The United States eventually won the war by overthrowing the Taliban and al Qaeda.
They were also successful in setting up military bases in or close proximity to the
cities of Afghanistan. This war has led to a lot of freedom for those that lived in
Afghanistan as well as a lot of deaths of innocent individuals that live in the country.
However the United States were unsuccessful in capturing Osama bin Laden until
2011. By that time our country was under the leadership of President Barack
Obama. In 2011 the U.S. Navy SEALS set up a raid in Pakistan in attempt to locate

was hiding out in Abbottabad, Pakistan but the leader of the SEALS Team Six

Ethan Frome Mistakes
In Edith Wharton s Ethan Frome, the main character, Ethan, is affected by events
and abominable decisions that were made in his past. Ethan shows a sense of
regret to most of his past but manages to shove the skeletons in his closet. He
continues to make mistakes, making him seem corrupt. Most of the past events
didn t affect him in a positive light either. Ethan deals with the phychologically
diminishing effects of his past. Ethan had to deal with the loss of his parents. He

Due Process Model And Crime Control Model
The two models that we have encountered in this class are the due process model
and the law and order, or the crime control model. The due process model can be
observed, most famously, during the Warren Court in the 1960s, during Warren s
time as Chief Justice the court was most concerned with protecting and extending
the rights of the accused. The due process model puts more strain on the prosecution
to prove that the criminal s rights were not infringed upon and that he actually
committed the crime. In contrast, the crime control model is most concerned with
lowering crime and deterring future criminals by prosecuting and processing
criminals and cases as fast as possible. In some ways, this model resembles an
assembly line, in the sense that it attempts to process cases as quickly and efficiently

Abstract
The project that I chose to research was the effect of Ibuprofen on the heart rate of
the daphnia. The reason that I chose to do this was because many people in society
use over the counter pain killers without really understanding any of the long term
effects of this medicine other than clearing their aches pains, and swelling. One of
the leading drugs on the market today is Ibuprofen which you may know as Motrin
or Advil. Both drugs are identical except for quantity and price, and even there it
might be the same. The organism I chose to work with is a crustacean called the
Daphnia. Later in this report I will attempt to explain the significance of that
organism and why I chose to conduct tests on it.

At first my results showed no change in the heart rate of the Daphnia.
Within a certain time, according to each solution, there was a spontaneous increase in
heart rate and then a spontaneous heart failure. This occurred in all solutions

Eva Smith who dies of a suicide consequently, The Birling family are questioned
about her death. Mr Birling is shown as a capitalist because he only cares about
himself and his business rather than his workers and his community around him. An
Inspector Callsis a play about morality which teaches the character and the people
who are watching or reading the play, not only to care about themselves and how to
treat others around them. J.B Priestley uses An Inspector Calls play to show how in
1912 the class system was very strict and always associated with the higher classes.

the church. He wrote it in 1515. Three things he did not like about the church was
power of the pope, purgatory, and indulgence.
He did not like the power of pope because he could make anyone do anything he
wanted for him. If you made him mad he could say pay a 100 dollars or you ain t
