This document outlines 7 steps for conducting product research on Amazon, including both manual and automated tactics. The steps are: 1) identify the target customer and their needs, 2) analyze top sellers on Amazon's Best Sellers list, 3) identify main keywords, 4) search keywords on Amazon, 5) use Helium 10's Xray Chrome extension, 6) copy sales data for top 5 sellers, and 7) gather information on top items based on the client's criteria. The overall goal is to analyze what competitors are doing and find products to sell by researching best sellers and top keywords.
