What is Product Research?
Amazon Product Research is the process of analyzing
which new products might be successful based on the
ongoing trends. Another key component of the process
is to gather all the data available from the marketplace
to decide the potential “winning product” which is
validated by data-driven reports of Amazon products
and market analysis within your target niche.
Product research is an essential part of the Private
Label business model which is the method of planning,
designing, modifying, and selling products that you
produce and distribute under your own brand.

The following slide will show the step by step of how
product research is done in the private label business
model. The goal of this is to have a logical process to
ensure that all the parameters have been checked off
based on the usual criteria of every seller. What makes
a good product researcher is a resourceful, inquisitive,
critical thinker, and, data-driven person.

The product featured in this presentation is solely for “demonstration” purposes only to provide an overview on
how I source a potential winning product that has high demand and low competition. This product idea is not
intended to be copied otherwise, you can do so at your own risk. It just happened that there were only about 1
– 2 sellers at the time this product was found using proven methods and strategies.
Basically, this product idea has never been seen or disclosed online to any other clients, sellers, or to the
community.
It was really a good opportunity that appeared during the time this product was found using amazon research
tools like Helium 10. It had also gone through a product validation process from other popular e-commerce
websites, google trends, google patent search, etc.
E-commerce business like selling on Amazon is very competitive nowadays so by the time you are seeing and
reading this, other sellers or VA’s may have already found this product. So, what will happen after they get it
made, head it over to Amazon, and get it in stock there could be a lot of people selling this already by now.

The good thing is there are still remaining unique strategies I have something up my sleeves that is advantageous
