I recently won a Finalist Award in Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government Programme. For this, I am immensely grateful. The 2014 awards, hosted by CEO Communications, received 9000 entries from 34 African countries.
The Award made me think about the overall impact of women in business. I looked at examples of women who achieve inspirational things. And I asked myself this question:
What legacy can we create through the influence we have each and every day?

The way to unleashing your Human X Factor is through creativity and connectivity.
However, the key is you have to be fully present on all levels for it to be revealed. Real Deal proudctions provides a leading edge formula by valuing diversity and self-empowerment.
Genuine heart to heart connections create more productive, co-operative and effective relationships/environments…
Human beings are community creatures, who are hard wired to share, care and be fair. The old dog eat dog attitude is not healthy and survival of the fitness only leaves people not knowing who to trust. The way forward today is to see the value of diversity and move our mindset from competitive to co-creative, through our clarity of intention, our transparency and our authentic connections.
This presentation was delivered by Donna Maria Coles Johnson, the founder and CEO of the Indie Business Network, at the 2015 Central Soapers Workshop in Kansas City, Missouri.
The presentation is entitled: "Authentic Leadership for Makers and Handmade Entrepreneurs."
"It takes a village... (to raise a Geekette)" was a keynote for the Womenize (http://womenize.de/) event in Berlin. I tried to answer the questions of value of networks and groups, and how to utilize them as individuals and companies, and what all that has to do with diveristy.
One of the most significant encounters in the history of not-for-profit enterprise could well have been the first meeting between Frances Hesselbein and Peter Drucker. It took place at New York City’s Union Club in 1981. Hesselbein was in her fifth year as CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA, a national organization with more than 3 million members and volunteers. Founded in 1912, it was a venerable but relatively staid institution in which girls drawn almost entirely from the white middle class aspired to win homemaker and storytelling badges. Hesselbein had become CEO at a difficult time for the organization; it had had a declining membership, a dearth of volunteers, a growing reputation for irrelevance, and a governance system that allowed many of the 335 councils to operate as separate fiefs. But she had begun to lead the organization through a turnaround. Under her guidance, it was becoming a cohesive and growing enterprise, focused on helping girls from diverse backgrounds achieve their highest potential, through a contemporary program that emphasized leadership, science, technology, and math.

Want to make an impact in your community, but don’t know how, or feel like you don’t have time?
You’re not alone. Luckily, there are a number of ways you can use your tech-industry skills to create positive change in your community - and yourself! (Fun fact: volunteers live longer and make more money than those who don’t volunteer.)
In this talk, I explore at the why’s, the how’s, and the where’s for sharing our skills. You’ll learn more about the breadth of ways to give back - both technical and non-technical - and hopefully leave feeling empowered to reach out in your own community and start making connections.
Participants will learn about the importance of voting, social advocacy, community leadership, and the importance of volunteering and charity. During this session, participants will be exposed to a myriad of social action opportunities that they can participate in, locally.

Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.

‘Many young girls lack appropriate, wholesome advice when growing up. We rarely get a chance to discuss ambition,
sexuality, leadership, self-branding with our mothers. We most often than not grope in the dark alone and end up making
mistakes that could easily be avoided. Amazing Woman Dialogue acts as bridge on these social issues. We get accomplished
women to speak and mentor young girls on the right way to go. In addition to that, we aim to produce a crop of young women
who understand their femininity and role of women in a community just like the Virtuous Woman of Proverbs 31.’
