2. Bradley Smith- Antagonist
Bradley Smith will be the antagonist in my opening sequence, as I feel
he will fit the role of a psychopath quite well. Not only is Bradley
flamboyant in his day to day life; just like the antagonist, but he is the
exact age of my antagonist, Lloyd, who is 17. I also feel Brad will
portray all of the characteristics with what I’m trying achieve the
antagonist since we are good friends and he will have a good
understanding. Also Bradley is small in comparison to most people our
age, which ensures he was an easy target for bullying which Lloyd was
a victim of in his earlier days.
My Antagonist Lloyd is a psychopathic murderer, like most, intelligent.
He has been diagnosed with mental illnesses which and the
medication has opened his eyes to the world. His school life previous
to his diagnoses was rough. He was bullied continuously for many
years; and now with his mind open he see’s what the world really is
and seeks revenge upon it. Prior to the opening and the movie, Lloyd
had already killed multiple victims successfully. The movie focuses on
Lloyds mission to kill the main bully from his past. What makes Lloyd
so perfect for killing is his “innocence” nobody believes someone who
is mentally ill and under control of medication. But they’re wrong
because Lloyd has responded differently than expected. In
combination with the unpredictability and the goals he is trying to
achieve it results in a perfect serial killer psychopath. Bradley being
small also secures that he will be seen as wimpy and a squirt
essentially. Someone who is not a killer, its unsuspecting due to his
size.

3. Graham Teasdale- Doctor
Graham Teasdale will be playing role of the doctor in my
opening. I feel he will be good at this since he is an older
person than the other actor in this opening. I feel
Graham will properly portray the doctor since he
understands what I want to achieve with this character.
Grahams characteristics such as his beard also give off a
sense of intelligence. Which is required for a doctor. His
older look also gives off a sense of wisdom.
The role of the doctor in my opening is short lived and
predominantly overshadowed by the antagonist.
However, the doctor is vital to the opening because it
gives the audience a much greater understanding of
what is going on. Not much of the doctors characters
itself is revealed during the opening. But we understand
somewhat how he is by the few lines of dialogue that he
has. From the start we know that the doctor is a caring
person, due to his profession and the way he
persistently ensures Lloyd has took his pills. We can also
learn that the doctor is just trying to do his job, whilst
being hardworking because he is dealing with
somebody else’s life. The doctor is also quite
misunderstanding towards Lloyd and doubts his abilities
as a human being, Lloyd takes advantage of this, which
is why he so easily gets away with everything.
