2. Caden Sherrard
Caden Sherrard will be the vocalist of the band in the
performance aspect of the song. There is little to no
demonstration of character development within the
performance however I chose him because I feel like he
can express the emotion of the song very well because he
is very outgoing. The emotion of the song is love and with
this being one of the most powerful it is necessary to
show this or it would take the realism and effect away.
Caden’s physical appearance and his facial expression is
very bold which is perfect for this role as the lead singer;
because the song itself is very loud and bold it is perfect
for Caden to perform this and get the emotion of love
across to the viewers. Also Caden Sherrard is 18 years old
which is the same age as my target audience being
teenagers and young adults which would make the appeal
even larger because of how relatable it is.

3. Jaye-Lea Richardson
Jaye-Lea Richardson will also feature within the performance
part of the music video, she will be the lead guitarist. Firstly
Jaye-Lea can actually play the guitar which will simply just
look more professional and realistic on the video compared
to someone who can’t play guitar; also Jaye-Lea like Caden is
very outgoing which perfectly fits the song and the emotion
that I’m trying to get across with it. Whilst Jaye-Lea isn’t at
the front or the main focus of the performance side of the
video, her presence with definitely be noticed when within
these segments of the video. The Guitar probably the most
distinguishable instrument to pick out of the song when
listening to it, so it’s appearance and certainly the person
who is playing it in the video has to be memorable. Jaye-
Lea’s ability to play the guitar will allow her to look
effortlessly cool during her time within the camera. Which is
what I am wanting for the full band, to look professional
whilst still keeping it full of energy which I feel Jaye-Lea will
be able to do excellently.

4. Niall Armstrong
Niall Armstrong will be the main character in the narrative
side of the video. We will follow his characters perspective so
we can have a better understanding of how he feels. I believe
Niall will fit the role incredibly well due to his appearance and
mannerisms. In this role in particular I am looking for
somebody who is quite obviously a teenager but also looks
and acts very sophisticated in most circumstances; Niall,
physically suits this role as he is very tall and has a beard
which makes him look more mature and older than he
actually is. I also believe that Niall will be able to portray the
character that I am looking for because the other person, the
one he is falling in love with is actually his girlfriend in real
life. So when I need him to express these emotions of love
and desperation he will be able to do it much easier than if it
wasn’t his girlfriend. This is because he genuinely does feel
for the other actor which means the emotions won’t be false
which will make the video feel more realistic.

5. Lucy Ambler
Like I have previously spoken about, Lucy is Niall’s
girlfriend in real life which will make the emotions that I’m
trying to capture more realistic and therefore more
believable. However I also feel that Lucy will be able to
play the role of the girlfriend in the narrative element of
the music video; I believe because of Lucy’s confidence
and how outgoing she is it will allow her to play the
character that I am trying to portray perfectly. In the video
whilst it is mostly from Niall’s perspective, Lucy will still
feature in the video a lot, she will be seen as absolutely
incredible as a person from Niall’s perspective which
means she will be seen in a good light in the video, Lucy’s
confidence will capture this well. Lucy is also the right look
physically for the character, as she is also a teenager but
unlike Niall appears more unpredictable and immature in
comparison to Niall.
