2. • The phrasal verbs are expresión that are formed combining verbs
with adverbs or prepositions and this combinations makes new
verbs, but whit a total meaning.
• EXAMPLES:
• The rest of the team backed her up when she suffered drepression.
• Rebbeca makes up every morning.
• My dad picks me up after school every day .
• Her mom drap me off at Danielas house on sunday.
• Do you get along with the math teacher.

3. MODAL VERBS OF ADVICE OBLIGATION
• All the auxiliary verbs except be, do and have
are called modals
• The modal verb of obligation is 2must” in
positive form; in negative form its “mustn´t or
must not”
• BECAREFUL: mustn´t is different of dont have
to.
• MUSTN´T: means its not allwed or its a bat
idea.
• BUT, DONT HAVE TO means you dont need to
do something, but its fine if you want to do it.

5. THE MODAL VERBS OF ADVICE ARE
• Should: this is the most common way to give advice
in positive its “should” in negative form its “ shouldn´t or should not”.
• Had better: this is another way of giving advice but its a bit stronger, it incluides an idea of
warning.
“had better” is the positive form in negative form its “has better not”.
• Ought to is another form of giving advice but its commonly used only in positive or affimative
form.}

1. The auxiliary verb will is used making predictions or simple
stateents of fact about the futre
Affirmative “will”
Negative “will not”
2. The auxialiary verb going to is used to talk about intentions or a plan
in the future that you have already tehought about

Negative “not going to”
Note: going to is also used in the past tense to talk about an unfulfilles
intention, ex: he was going to call yo.

8. TAG QUESTIONS WHIT BE
• Tag questions are small phrases or questions that are put at the end of a negative or affirmative sentence and
generally have the objetive of confiming or denying the content of the sentence.
• It can be used in affirmative sentences, negative and past, present and future.
• EXAMPLES
• its a beatiful day, isn´t it?
• Martha isnt angry, is she?
• You were really tired, werent you?
• You werent studying at six, were you?
• You can play the violin, can´t yo?
• Lets study tomorrow morning shall we?
