This document outlines the action plan for the Values Education majors at Benguet State University College of Teacher Education for 2014-2015. It includes the vision, mission, and goals of the college. The action plan has five key result areas: information dissemination, career exploration, tributes for graduates, fundraising, and a seminar. Each key result area lists objectives, strategies, target recipients, timeframe, responsible persons, and budget. The overall goal is for Values Education majors to organize activities that promote values formation among students.

2. RATIONALE
The philosophy of the college emphasizes the production of competent teachers who are able to care, touch, and empower lives. As would be Values
Education teachers, we see the importance of being able to contribute to the attainment of this philosophy by organizing, coordinating and engaging
ourselves in various activities that would contribute to the formation and development of values among us and the target reci pients of our planned activities.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES

b. To familiarize the members with the nature, concept and activities of Values Education.
c. To develop unity, cooperation, camaraderie, discipline and a quality teamwork among its members.
d. To exalt the quality and standards of the Values Education Enhanced with Guidance and Counseling students.
e. To serve as an instrument and, model students for the actual practice of the theoretical and practical bases of values instruction & learning
f. To adopt such measures as may be necessary to nurture educational advancement in the field of values education.
g. For the students to recognize and appreciate the importance of understanding and fostering positive students’ behavior.
h. To help develop critical thinking among students.
i. To serve as a training ground for the members for the improvement of their knowledge and skills in their field of specializat ion.
