Bago City Senior High School's mission is to assist students through education, skills development, and opportunities to improve quality of life. Their 10-year improvement plan includes enhancing teaching and learning, library resources, appreciation of Filipino culture, student life, facilities, sustainability, alumni relationships, fundraising, and strategic planning.
The school aims to strengthen students spiritually, socially, environmentally, and nationally through its academic programs and extracurricular activities according to the Department of Education's core values.

Bago City Senior High School
As a new senior High School Institution embarking on one of the greatest
adventures of K + 12, senior high is more than just a training ground; it is about
becoming educated, articulated, principled, self-confident and creative. These values
are needed to strengthen the three areas of senior high school goals, in giving
opportunities for graduates to have a better job, put up their own businesses and get a
higher education. This senior high institution will enable stude nts to discover their
talents, excel beyond their limits and achieve their greatest potentials. Our school
provides many opportunities for individual’s personal, social, spiritual and intellectual
growth and development.

School - founded, supported, and guided by the Department of Education - is to assist
individuals in their quest for education, skills acquisition and opportunities to improve
the quality of life. That assistance should provide a period of intensive learning in a
stimulating setting where a commitment to excellence is expected and the full
realization of human potential is pursued. According to “The Aims of a BCSHS
Education, as patterned from the Department of Education “Core Values”, a BCSHS
education should be (1 )spiritually strengthening, (2) socially and compassionately
enlarging, (4) environmentally promoting, and (3) nationalistically building, leading to
lifelong learning and service.” The school is primarily a senior high school institution,
with “selected academic and TVL programs of real consequence. To help fulfill its
mission and vision, the school has adopted the following Improvement plan for 2019-
2021:
2. 1. TEACHING AND LEARNING.
Improve teaching and learning to be more (1 )spiritually strengthening, (2) socially and
compassionately enlarging, (4) environmentally promoting, and (3) nationalistically
building, leading to lifelong learning and service, through:
a. Assessment of the achievement of learning outcomes and other indicators.
b. Creation of a new student evaluation process for more comprehensive and rigorous
reviews of teaching.
c. Improving the peer evaluation of teaching.
d. Effective use of technology in instruction.
e. An improved first-year experience through the new Freshman Mentoring program.
f. Recruiting and hiring qualified faculty members with demonstrated potential for
excellent teaching and with a strong commitment to the DepEd/school mission
and vision.
g. Faculty development, including faculty orientation, mentoring, professional
trainings, and the rank and status process.
h. Annual faculty stewardship interviews with the school head.

2. ENHANCING LIBRARY AND INFORMATION RESOURCES.
Provide excellent library and information resources by enabling discovery of content
and implementing information technology (IT) solutions to facilitate increased access to

Enhance the physical facilities, including:
a. Acquiring Computer Laboratory and Library.
b. Acquiring Faculty and Science Building.
c. Acquiring CCS/Animation and EPAS Laboratory.
3. d. Accomplishing the Site Development Plan to help unify the campus, improve safety,
create a more pedestrian-friendly environment, andincrease green space.
e. Raising funds to construct Cultural and Event Stage or Multi-purpose Gym.
f. Installing air conditioning units for the temporary housing of computer units.
g. Remodeling buildings as neededto maintain or improve functionality.
h. Installing Handwashing facility.
i. Updating the physical infrastructure.
j. Installing fencing andperimeter wall.
6. SUSTAINABILITY.
Pursue opportunities for environmental sustainability that make a genuine difference

a. Conducting activities andprograms of energy efficiency and reduce environmental
