strategies to
improve the
learners’
performance
in KVES.
The graph shows the comparative results on the performance of Kasiglahan Village Elementary School with regards to
the average grades of the learners as well as the number of pupils with incomplete grades and number of dropouts. As we notice
KVES maintained zero (0) incomplete grades and zero (0) dropout. On the other venue, KVES elevated the overall performance
of learners in the average grade category from 83.88 to 84. 35, about 0.47% gained from first to second quarter while 84.35 to
85.66 or about 1.31% gained for second to third quarter and 85.66 to 87.33 or 1.6% gain in the fourth quarter.
The data shown above are evidence that learners lagging and at risk dropping out of school when exposed to early
intervention strategies and remediation program with teachers assisting them in conquering their difficulties may improve and shall
be prevented from dropping out of school. This is parallel with the idea posited by Alexander, K., Entwisle, D. and Horsey, C.
1997 that Early intervention can curb dropouts by fostering positive academic and personal development before learners settle into
negative academic routines. The data also shown the improvement of pupil’s academic performance for about 1-2 % gain per
quarter which are 0.47% for first to second quarter; 1.31 % for third to fourth quarter and 1.6 % for third to fourth quarter
respectively.
With this, KVES proudly say that the impact of our Project ASAP is commendable.

  • 2. their current challenges. ❖ To recommend intervention strategies to improve the learners’ performance in KVES. The graph shows the comparative results on the performance of Kasiglahan Village Elementary School with regards to the average grades of the learners as well as the number of pupils with incomplete grades and number of dropouts. As we notice KVES maintained zero (0) incomplete grades and zero (0) dropout. On the other venue, KVES elevated the overall performance of learners in the average grade category from 83.88 to 84. 35, about 0.47% gained from first to second quarter while 84.35 to 85.66 or about 1.31% gained for second to third quarter and 85.66 to 87.33 or 1.6% gain in the fourth quarter. The data shown above are evidence that learners lagging and at risk dropping out of school when exposed to early intervention strategies and remediation program with teachers assisting them in conquering their difficulties may improve and shall be prevented from dropping out of school. This is parallel with the idea posited by Alexander, K., Entwisle, D. and Horsey, C. 1997 that Early intervention can curb dropouts by fostering positive academic and personal development before learners settle into negative academic routines. The data also shown the improvement of pupil’s academic performance for about 1-2 % gain per quarter which are 0.47% for first to second quarter; 1.31 % for third to fourth quarter and 1.6 % for third to fourth quarter respectively.
