Accomplishment Report in Brigada Pagbasa
S.Y. 2022-2023
I. Introduction:
Reading is one of the most important elements in education. Understanding what we
are reading is the very main point in teaching reading. It is vital because it helps in developing
one’s mind.
Ulamian Elementary School conducted reading assessment Pre-test and Post -test
using EGRA ARATA (grades 1-3) and PHIL-IRI on (Grades 4-6) to identify the learners to
undergo remedial reading.
II. Objectives:
To select and identify learners who were undergo remedial reading.
To assess the reading level of the learners through giving Pre-test and Post-test
assessment.
To improve the reading comprehension of the learners
III. Activities:
The advisers conducted reading remediation to those identified learners who had
reading difficulties based on the assessment result. Remedial reading is conducted every noon
time and reading hours. We practiced the In-School Reading Remediation Activity (ISRRA)
program in our school and the Onsite Reading Remediation Activity (OSRRA) program
conducted in their respective households through giving different reading materials to our
learners.
Stated below are the list of activities that were done during reading remediation.

Letter Recognition
Sound Syllables
Reading Word Sentences
3. V. Recommendation:
Parents and other stakeholders must be involved in reading remediation seriously and
heartily. We need additional pre reading materials will be provided by its advisers from
Grades 1 -6.
