Planning and Organization
• Lives the school mission-vision, goals and
objectives with the school community and
makes certain that decisions, policies and
programs are in line with the school’s
philosophy of education and mission-vision
statements.
• Reviews the aspects of operations for the
purposes of policy formation and operational
planning.
• Implements the approved academic
programs(curricula), program of instructions and
program of activities and sees to it that the
desired standards are maintained through proper
communication.
• Undertakes a continuing study of needs and
requirements of the curricular offering and
programs.
• Assesses the effectiveness of objectives,
programs, policies of the school.
• Reviews and recommends the educational
program.
Operations and Control
• Reviews and updates the School Curriculum
• Recommends syllabi, textbooks, instructional
assignments and other teaching aids.
• Makes class schedules and teaching
assignments and endorses them to the
Principal.
• Checks teachers’ tests and quarterly exams.
• Checks class records, grading sheets, summary
sheets, and report cards.
• Checks Form 18, reports on promotion, etc
• Implements and oversees the faculty
development programs, including annual in-
service training programs, seminars and
workshops.
• Makes classroom observations and give the
teacher recommendations to the Principal.
• Performs other functions that may be
assigned to him/her.
