Concept, design, manufacture, import and marketing of a collector hockey stick promotion co-branded between the
Hudson Bay Company the oldest retailer in North America and the National Hockey League Players Association the
union representing all NHL players and Alumni.
From concept to prototype to full design and fulfillment of a limited edition birch retro hockey sticks silk screened and
varnished with twelve original facsimile players signatures. With both brands represented coupled with the HBC stripes
- this one of a kind souvenir stick was marketed during the Olympics in the “superstore” in Vancouver and 80 HBC
stores across Canada. It was a positive public relations coup for both brands.
A complete turn-key concept from start to finish including all logistics and coordination handled in-house. This is a
great example of teamwork in a multifaceted promotion involving two large and very recognizable brands. Concept,
negotiations, design and execution.
