Minimized non-value added pallet relocation flows across the network, developed an optimized logistics flow
planning process for inbound and outbound moves across CHEP Canada's distribution points (Estimated 1,000
shipments per day). The project delivered a cost saving of $ 0.5 Million per year. Drove the cubing optimization
initiative to reduce transport spend and support environmental sustainability initiatives.
Improved pallet handling (fork lift) productivity from 246 to 300 PPH (50% Improvement) across CHEP locations
leveraging Lean methodology (value Streams, benchmarking, plant re-organization, scheduling). The project
generated a recurring annual cost savings of over $ 1.0 million (Equivalent to 20 FTE) for CHEP Plants.
Drove 5S implementation, visual workplace and Environmental Health and Safety standards through the
Continuous Improvement program. Delivered Lean plant layout, pick pack design, KPI's and metrics, operations
standards and provided mentoring and support for projects involving Design of Experiments.
Delivered reduction in Detention and Demurrage (CN/CP) charges saving $ 400k annually by re-engineering
network flows, shipping & receiving processes, proper accountability and visibility. Identified the most appropriate Fuel
Surcharge Strategy (FSC) for CHEP Canada – eliminate major root cause of transporter invoicing errors and ensure
equality between FSC Payables and collections.
Supported the Merger & Acquisition Strategy by leading the integration of CHEP operations at Paramount pallets
and support National Plant Network Optimization strategy. Developed a profitability improvement plan identifying cost
saving opportunities over $ 1.0 Million annually.
Streamlined shipping & receiving processes to ensure proper on-time transactions reporting, introduced cycle
count and leveraged SAP reports (ZINT, Yard Stock report, variance reports) to create visibility. The project improved
the monthly Inventory accuracy from ± 3.6% to ± 1.5% and reduced significant capital charge at year ends.
Led the development of Environmental, Health and Safety Standards at Paramount Pallets, plant layout re-

Supported Brambles Global Sustainability initiatives by managing energy conservation projects, improving trailer

was achieved in developing a standard BOM for the global environment – reducing inventory levels in some areas by
