 Deployment of a Scalable and Replicable US HR Shared Services for Shawcor in Houston to standardize Payroll
processing in US. The Project delivered 200% + capacity increase and a complete model that is being replicated for
developing Shared Services at Shawcor.
 Led the Consolidation and Colocation of Shawcor's Sales offfices in Calgary in One Central location resulting in

 Extrusion
 Minimized non-value added pallet relocation flows across the network, developed an optimized logistics flow
planning process for inbound and outbound moves across CHEP Canada's distribution points (Estimated 1,000
shipments per day). The project delivered a cost saving of $ 0.5 Million per year. Drove the cubing optimization
initiative to reduce transport spend and support environmental sustainability initiatives.
 Improved pallet handling (fork lift) productivity from 246 to 300 PPH (50% Improvement) across CHEP locations
leveraging Lean methodology (value Streams, benchmarking, plant re-organization, scheduling). The project
generated a recurring annual cost savings of over $ 1.0 million (Equivalent to 20 FTE) for CHEP Plants.
 Drove 5S implementation, visual workplace and Environmental Health and Safety standards through the
Continuous Improvement program. Delivered Lean plant layout, pick pack design, KPI's and metrics, operations
standards and provided mentoring and support for projects involving Design of Experiments.
 Delivered reduction in Detention and Demurrage (CN/CP) charges saving $ 400k annually by re-engineering
network flows, shipping & receiving processes, proper accountability and visibility. Identified the most appropriate Fuel
Surcharge Strategy (FSC) for CHEP Canada – eliminate major root cause of transporter invoicing errors and ensure
equality between FSC Payables and collections.
 Supported the Merger & Acquisition Strategy by leading the integration of CHEP operations at Paramount pallets
and support National Plant Network Optimization strategy. Developed a profitability improvement plan identifying cost
saving opportunities over $ 1.0 Million annually.
 Streamlined shipping & receiving processes to ensure proper on-time transactions reporting, introduced cycle
count and leveraged SAP reports (ZINT, Yard Stock report, variance reports) to create visibility. The project improved
the monthly Inventory accuracy from ± 3.6% to ± 1.5% and reduced significant capital charge at year ends.
 Led the development of Environmental, Health and Safety Standards at Paramount Pallets, plant layout re-
organization to improve product flows and pedestrian segregation, Risk management and standardized work,
preventive maintenance system, fire safety and Near Miss reporting. Reduced Injury frequency rate from 73 to 58.
 Supported Brambles Global Sustainability initiatives by managing energy conservation projects, improving trailer
cubing and sustainable waste management practices. Delivered a benchmark T8 lighting project (payback 8
months) as a standard across the network, and an ink jet printing system replacing heating system across the network
process. The projects delivered energy savings of $ 200 k and an operational savings of $ 500 k annually.
 Delivered significant Productivity and cost improvement initiatives : J-56 Mazda Door Assembly : Output increase
from 252 doors per shift to 357 doors per shift (50% improvement), IP Panel scrap reduction from 4.95% to 2.0 %,
Cycle time and scrap reduction in molding processes, SMED and automation projects. Developed a make or buy cost
model to support and relocate profitable molding operations in-house – realized annual savings of $ 300k
 Configured and implemented end to end ERP system - Inventory master, Bills of Material, Shop Flow Orders, Master
Production Schedules, Material Re-ordering, Purchase Order modules across the entire supply chain. Major success
was achieved in developing a standard BOM for the global environment – reducing inventory levels in some areas by
30%.
 Introduced time based inventory re-ordering system for materials(MRP) and a Kan-ban system for internal
operations Developed and implemented supporting BOM accuracy, inventory re-conciliation and warehouse process
improvements resulting in inventory level accuracy beyond 95%.
 Played a pivotal role in developing CHEP Canada's Plant Network Optimization program (8,000 + customer touch
points, 30 plant locations) modeling in-out flows, plant capacities, constraints, transportation and plant cost model to

drive the optimization software - Supply Chain Guru (Llamasoft). The project identified multi-million dollar network cost
savings which is being realized in phases.
 Developed the Quality Management System for Pallet management including training standards, audit system
(frequency, reporting and analysis), Gage R&R process and Operator certification. The project created the foundation
of Pallet Quality Standards at CHEP Canada. Facilitated and supported the implementation of ISO standards at
Ontegra - Magna plant.

The project delivered a cost saving of $ 0.5 Million per year. Drove the cubing optimization initiative to reduce transport spend and support environmental sustainability initiatives.  Improved pallet handling (fork lift) productivity from 246 to 300 PPH (50% Improvement) across CHEP locations leveraging Lean methodology (value Streams, benchmarking, plant re-organization, scheduling).
