The student observed a Grade 7 Filipino class at Brother Martin Simpson Laboratory School. The lesson focused on "Pokus ng Pandiwa". The classroom environment was conducive to learning. Instructional materials included a Filipino textbook. Learning activities included a quiz to test students' understanding of sentence structures. Assessment considered both the process and product of learning to see if students achieved the objectives of identifying pokus ng pandiwa and providing examples. The curriculum principles of scope and sequence were observed in selecting activities and materials that developed cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains from simple to complex topics. Teachers need to understand curriculum design to effectively plan lessons aligned with objectives.
