This document discusses a novel control strategy for improving power quality in microgrids using an artificial neural network (ANN) technique. It outlines a hybrid generation system that integrates renewable energy sources, employing an adaptive maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm to optimize energy utilization and ensure sinusoidal grid currents. Additionally, the proposed control method simplifies system operation by eliminating the need for a phase-locked loop and effectively compensating for active, reactive, and harmonic load current components.
