This paper proposes a novel digital video watermarking technique that embeds both visible and invisible watermarks for improved copyright protection. The invisible watermark is embedded using discrete wavelet transform (DWT) in the high-high (HH) subband coefficients of video frames. The visible watermark is embedded partially in video frames depending on user input location. Experimental results on a gray-scale video show the embedded watermarks can be extracted after attacks like salt and pepper noise, Gaussian noise, and median filtering, with peak signal-to-noise ratios above 28 dB, demonstrating the technique's robustness.

In this era any type of digital media such as image, text, audio and video, all are easily accessible and transferable through the use of high speed internet. As the use of internet increased, the need of security and authenticity also increased. To secure the multimedia data such as image, audio, text and video researcher has developed a watermarking technique which gives a watermark embedding and watermark extraction algorithm, and later it is used for proof of ownership. Here we are proposing a technique on video watermarking using 2D DWT and 2-level SVD technique. In this paper first we are taking a video which is decomposed into number of frames and embedding a watermark image on each frame. First 2-D DWT is applied on each frame. Dwt decompose each frame into low frequency, mid frequency and in high frequency (LL, LH, HL, HH) band then we applied SVD on LL and HL sub-band called it dual band. SVD convert it into three matrices as U1S1V1’ of single matrix. A watermark image is taken which converted in to gray scale from RGB scale then resized it. And embed this watermark image into host frames with some scaling factor. After that we again applied SVD on this watermarked frames which further convert this single matrix into three matrices as U2S2V2’ now multiply S2 matrix with U1 and V1 matrix component to make it more secure. To demonstrate the authenticity of this watermarked video we applied some attacks such as Gaussian filtering, median filtering, frame rotation, contrast adjustment and sharpness attack which show its PSNR and NCC value in comparison with the original video.

DWT Based Audio Watermarking Schemes : A Comparative Study ijcisjournal
The main problem encountered during multimedia transmission is its protection against illegal distribution
and copying. One of the possible solutions for this is digital watermarking. Digital audio watermarking is
the technique of embedding watermark content to the audio signal to protect the owner copyrights. In this
paper, we used three wavelet transforms i.e. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Double Density DWT
(DDDWT) and Dual Tree DWT (DTDWT) for audio watermarking and the performance analysis of each
transform is presented. The key idea of the basic algorithm is to segment the audio signal into two parts,
one is for synchronization code insertion and other one is for watermark embedding. Initially, binary
watermark image is scrambled using chaotic technique to provide secrecy. By using QuantizationIndex
Modulation (QIM), this method works as a blind technique. The comparative analysis of the three methods
is made by conducting robustness and imperceptibility tests are conducted on five benchmark audio
signals.

Digital Watermarking is the process of embedding data called watermark or signature or label or tag into a multimedia object (image or audio or video) so that the watermark can be extracted for ownership verification or authentication. A visible watermark is a secondary translucent image overlaid into the primary image and appears visible to a viewer on a careful inspection. The invisible watermark is embedded in such a way that the modification made to the pixel value is perceptually not noticed and it can be recovered only with an appropriate decoding mechanism. Digital watermarking is used to hide the information inside a signal, which cannot be easily extracted by the third party. Its widely used application is copyright protection of digital information. It is different from the encryption in the sense that it allows the user to access, view and interpret the signal but protect the ownership of the content. One of the current research areas is to protect digital watermark inside the information so that ownership of the information cannot be claimed by third party.

Unauthorised redistribution and illegal copying of digital contents are serious issues which have affected numerous types of digital contents such as digital video. One of the methods which have been suggested to support copyright protectionis to hide digital watermark within the digital video. This paper introduces a new video watermarking system which based on a combination of Arnold transform and integer wavelet transforms (IWT). IWT is employed to decompose the cover video frames whereby Arnold transform is used to scramble the watermark which is a grey scale image. Scrambling the watermark before the concealment makes the transmission more secure by disordering the information. The system performance was benchmarked against related video watermarking schemes, in which the evaluation processes consist of testing against several video operations and attacks. Consequently, the scheme has been demonstrated to be perfectly robust.
Hybrid Approach for Robust Digital Video WatermarkingIJSRD
With the growing popularity of internet and digital media, digital watermarking techniques have been developed to protect the copyright of multimedia objects such as text, audio, video, etc. So, we have proposed a hybrid video watermarking technique which takes the advantages of different transforms like DWT, DCT, SVD and Arnold Transform, which enhances more security and provides robustness to the watermark. In this paper method, video is divided into several groups of frames, and one of the frames is selected where watermark will be embedded. Before embedding watermark in a selected frame it will be pre-processed with Arnold Transform which will provide security to it. The selected plane of video frame are decomposed using DWT and high frequency band HH, middle frequency bands LH, HL are transformed with DCT. The DCT coefficients are SVD transformed which are embedded with corresponding transformed coefficients of watermarks along with Arnold Transform. The embedded watermark is extracted with inverse process of embedding. The proposed algorithm is tested with various video sequences using MATLAB 2013a. The distortion quality of original image and watermark is controlled by the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio, Signal to Noise Ratio and Mean square error of the watermarked frame with original frame.

Several accurate watermarking methods for image watermarking have being suggested and implemented to secure various forms of digital data, images and videos however, very few algorithms are proposed for audio watermarking. This is also because human audio system has dynamic range which is wider in comparison with human vision system. In this paper, a new audio watermarking algorithm for voice message encryption based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) is introduced. The audio signal is divided into frames and each frame is then decomposed adaptively, by EMD, into intrinsic oscillatory components called Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs). The watermark, which is the secret message that is to be sent, along with the synchronization codes are embedded into the extrema of the last IMF, a low frequency mode stable under different attacks and preserving the perceptual quality of the host signal. Based on exhaustive simulations, we show the robustness of the hidden watermark for audio compression, false decryption, re-quantization, resampling. The comparison analysis shows that our method has better performance than other steganography schemes recently reported.

Abstract: Watermarking is mainly projected for copy right protection, data safeguard, and data thrashing, etc. Nowadays all the communication requires protection. Estimation of video quality has a major role in today’s video distribution, communication control and e-commerce. Consumer fulfillment is achieved by providing good quality. Here the video input is changed into frames and the image set as watermark is embedded into the frames. The embedding process is carried out using DWT, then the embedded frame and other remaining frames are again changed into video file and it is transmitted. At the receiver side watermark image is extracted from the video. Finally, by using metrics such as TDR, PSNR the quality of watermark image is estimated under distortion. All experiments and tests are carried out using MATLAB.

Secured Video Watermarking Based On DWTEditor IJMTER
Copy right protection and Claiming the digital rights is the major problem for the content
developers. Content like video, images, audio, etc., are prone to violation of protection under many
circumstances in the digital world. In this paper we propose a method that proves copyright of the
video by embedding watermarking on selected frames and ensures that the frames is not modified by
performing hashing and then modifying the frame based on Discrete Wavelet Transformations . This
method protects the video from many types of attacks like frame-edit
The embedding of a digital signature, or tag data is carried out in the frequency domain. The
high frequency varieties are chosen by any LH and HL in the wavelet domain which are to be
applicable in DCT. Coefficients are changed mid-frequency DCT coefficients such transactions by a
low frequency of the watermark to be embedded. Watermark can be recovered from the video by
selecting a random watermark of any reference framework. The proposed techniques are more
secure, robust and are efficient due to the use of static DCT. Watermark techniques uses a bands HL
and LH for adding watermark where the movement does not impact the quality the extracted
watermark until if the video displays for different types of malware attacks.
In this work we have taken three video watermarking techniques i.e. BIT GET (spatial),
DWT, DCT and one video formats ie.MPEG video to perform a comparative analysis of different
techniques using single video formats, to obtain the best performing technique for video
watermarking. Such that to increase robustness of the video and decrease the embedding time

In this paper we propose a DWT based dual watermarking technique wherein both blind and non-blind algorithms are used for the copyright protection of the cover/host image and the watermark respectively. We use the concept of embedding two watermarks into the cover image by actually embedding only one, to authenticate the source image and protect the watermark simultaneously. Here the DWT coefficients of the primary watermark (logo) are modified using another smaller secondary binary image (sign) and the midfrequency coefficients of the cover/host image. Since the watermark has some features of host image embedded in it, the security is increased two-fold and it also protects the watermark from any misuse or copy attack. For this purpose a new pseudorandom generator based on the mathematical constant π has been developed and used successfully in various stages of the algorithm. We have also proposed a new approach of applying pseudo-randomness in selecting the watermark pixel values for embedding in the cover image. In all the existing techniques the randomness is incorporated in selecting the location to embed the watermark. This makes the embedding process more unpredictable. The cover image which is watermarked with the signed-logo is subjected to various attacks like cropping, rotation, JPEG compression, scaling and noising. From the results it has been found that it is very robust and has good invisibility as well.

SVD Based Robust Digital Watermarking For Still Images Using Wavelet Transform cscpconf
This paper aims at developing a hybrid image watermarking algorithm which satisfies both
imperceptibility and robustness requirements. In order to achieve our objectives we have used
singular values of Wavelet Transformation’s HL and LH sub bands to embed watermark.
Further to increase and control the strength of the watermark, we use a scale factor. An optimal
watermark embedding method is developed to achieve minimum watermarking distortion. A
secret embedding key is designed to securely embed the fragile watermarks so that the new
method is robust to counterfeiting, even when the malicious attackers are fully aware of the
watermark embedding algorithm. Experimental results are provided in terms of Peak signal to
noise ratio (PSNR), Normalized cross correlation (NCC) and gain factor to demonstrate the
effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Image operations such as JPEG compression from
malicious image attacks and, thus, can be used for semi-fragile watermarking

ANALYSIS OF LAND SURFACE DEFORMATION GRADIENT BY DINSAR cscpconf
The progressive development of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems diversify the exploitation of the generated images by these systems in different applications of geoscience. Detection and monitoring surface deformations, procreated by various phenomena had benefited from this evolution and had been realized by interferometry (InSAR) and differential interferometry (DInSAR) techniques. Nevertheless, spatial and temporal decorrelations of the interferometric couples used, limit strongly the precision of analysis results by these techniques. In this context, we propose, in this work, a methodological approach of surface deformation detection and analysis by differential interferograms to show the limits of this technique according to noise quality and level. The detectability model is generated from the deformation signatures, by simulating a linear fault merged to the images couples of ERS1 / ERS2 sensors acquired in a region of the Algerian south.

DYNAMIC PHONE WARPING – A METHOD TO MEASURE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN PRONUNCIATIONS cscpconf
Human beings generate different speech waveforms while speaking the same word at different times. Also, different human beings have different accents and generate significantly varying speech waveforms for the same word. There is a need to measure the distances between various words which facilitate preparation of pronunciation dictionaries. A new algorithm called Dynamic Phone Warping (DPW) is presented in this paper. It uses dynamic programming technique for global alignment and shortest distance measurements. The DPW algorithm can be used to enhance the pronunciation dictionaries of the well-known languages like English or to build pronunciation dictionaries to the less known sparse languages. The precision measurement experiments show 88.9% accuracy.
INTELLIGENT ELECTRONIC ASSESSMENT FOR SUBJECTIVE EXAMS cscpconf
In education, the use of electronic (E) examination systems is not a novel idea, as Eexamination systems have been used to conduct objective assessments for the last few years. This research deals with randomly designed E-examinations and proposes an E-assessment system that can be used for subjective questions. This system assesses answers to subjective questions by finding a matching ratio for the keywords in instructor and student answers. The matching ratio is achieved based on semantic and document similarity. The assessment system is composed of four modules: preprocessing, keyword expansion, matching, and grading. A survey and case study were used in the research design to validate the proposed system. The examination assessment system will help instructors to save time, costs, and resources, while increasing efficiency and improving the productivity of exam setting and assessments.
TWO DISCRETE BINARY VERSIONS OF AFRICAN BUFFALO OPTIMIZATION METAHEURISTICcscpconf
African Buffalo Optimization (ABO) is one of the most recent swarms intelligence based metaheuristics. ABO algorithm is inspired by the buffalo’s behavior and lifestyle. Unfortunately, the standard ABO algorithm is proposed only for continuous optimization problems. In this paper, the authors propose two discrete binary ABO algorithms to deal with binary optimization problems. In the first version (called SBABO) they use the sigmoid function and probability model to generate binary solutions. In the second version (called LBABO) they use some logical operator to operate the binary solutions. Computational results on two knapsack problems (KP and MKP) instances show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and their ability to achieve good and promising solutions.
DETECTION OF ALGORITHMICALLY GENERATED MALICIOUS DOMAINcscpconf
In recent years, many malware writers have relied on Dynamic Domain Name Services (DDNS) to maintain their Command and Control (C&C) network infrastructure to ensure a persistence presence on a compromised host. Amongst the various DDNS techniques, Domain Generation Algorithm (DGA) is often perceived as the most difficult to detect using traditional methods. This paper presents an approach for detecting DGA using frequency analysis of the character distribution and the weighted scores of the domain names. The approach’s feasibility is demonstrated using a range of legitimate domains and a number of malicious algorithmicallygenerated domain names. Findings from this study show that domain names made up of English characters “a-z” achieving a weighted score of < 45 are often associated with DGA. When a weighted score of < 45 is applied to the Alexa one million list of domain names, only 15% of the domain names were treated as non-human generated.

This paper presents a DRM solution to monetizing, tracking and controlling online streaming content cross platforms for IP enabled devices. The paper benefits from the current advances in Blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Specifically, the paper presents a Global Music Asset Assurance (GoMAA) digital currency and presents the iMediaStreams Blockchain to enable the secure dissemination and tracking of the streamed content. The proposed solution provides the data owner the ability to control the flow of information even after it has been released by creating a secure, selfinstalled, cross platform reader located on the digital content file header. The proposed system provides the content owners’ options to manage their digital information (audio, video, speech, etc.), including the tracking of the most consumed segments, once it is release. The system benefits from token distribution between the content owner (Music Bands), the content distributer (Online Radio Stations) and the content consumer(Fans) on the system blockchain.
IMPORTANCE OF VERB SUFFIX MAPPING IN DISCOURSE TRANSLATION SYSTEMcscpconf
This paper discusses the importance of verb suffix mapping in Discourse translation system. In
discourse translation, the crucial step is Anaphora resolution and generation. In Anaphora
resolution, cohesion links like pronouns are identified between portions of text. These binders
make the text cohesive by referring to nouns appearing in the previous sentences or nouns
appearing in sentences after them. In Machine Translation systems, to convert the source
language sentences into meaningful target language sentences the verb suffixes should be
changed as per the cohesion links identified. This step of translation process is emphasized in
the present paper. Specifically, the discussion is on how the verbs change according to the
subjects and anaphors. To explain the concept, English is used as the source language (SL) and
an Indian language Telugu is used as Target language (TL)

CLASSIFICATION OF ALZHEIMER USING fMRI DATA AND BRAIN NETWORKcscpconf
Since the mid of 1990s, functional connectivity study using fMRI (fcMRI) has drawn increasing
attention of neuroscientists and computer scientists, since it opens a new window to explore
functional network of human brain with relatively high resolution. BOLD technique provides
almost accurate state of brain. Past researches prove that neuro diseases damage the brain
network interaction, protein- protein interaction and gene-gene interaction. A number of
neurological research paper also analyse the relationship among damaged part. By
computational method especially machine learning technique we can show such classifications.
In this paper we used OASIS fMRI dataset affected with Alzheimer’s disease and normal

VALIDATION METHOD OF FUZZY ASSOCIATION RULES BASED ON FUZZY FORMAL CONCEPT AN...cscpconf
In order to treat and analyze real datasets, fuzzy association rules have been proposed. Several
algorithms have been introduced to extract these rules. However, these algorithms suffer from
the problems of utility, redundancy and large number of extracted fuzzy association rules. The
expert will then be confronted with this huge amount of fuzzy association rules. The task of
validation becomes fastidious. In order to solve these problems, we propose a new validation
method. Our method is based on three steps. (i) We extract a generic base of non redundant
fuzzy association rules by applying EFAR-PN algorithm based on fuzzy formal concept analysis.
(ii) we categorize extracted rules into groups and (iii) we evaluate the relevance of these rules
using structural equation model.
PROBABILITY BASED CLUSTER EXPANSION OVERSAMPLING TECHNIQUE FOR IMBALANCED DATAcscpconf
In many applications of data mining, class imbalance is noticed when examples in one class are
overrepresented. Traditional classifiers result in poor accuracy of the minority class due to the
class imbalance. Further, the presence of within class imbalance where classes are composed of
multiple sub-concepts with different number of examples also affect the performance of
classifier. In this paper, we propose an oversampling technique that handles between class and
within class imbalance simultaneously and also takes into consideration the generalization
ability in data space. The proposed method is based on two steps- performing Model Based
Clustering with respect to classes to identify the sub-concepts; and then computing the
separating hyperplane based on equal posterior probability between the classes. The proposed
method is tested on 10 publicly available data sets and the result shows that the proposed
method is statistically superior to other existing oversampling methods.
CHARACTER AND IMAGE RECOGNITION FOR DATA CATALOGING IN ECOLOGICAL RESEARCHcscpconf
Data collection is an essential, but manpower intensive procedure in ecological research. An
algorithm was developed by the author which incorporated two important computer vision
techniques to automate data cataloging for butterfly measurements. Optical Character
Recognition is used for character recognition and Contour Detection is used for imageprocessing.
Proper pre-processing is first done on the images to improve accuracy. Although
there are limitations to Tesseract’s detection of certain fonts, overall, it can successfully identify
words of basic fonts. Contour detection is an advanced technique that can be utilized to
measure an image. Shapes and mathematical calculations are crucial in determining the precise
location of the points on which to draw the body and forewing lines of the butterfly. Overall,
92% accuracy were achieved by the program for the set of butterflies measured.
SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYTICS FOR SENTIMENT ANALYSIS AND EVENT DETECTION IN SMART CI...cscpconf
Smart cities utilize Internet of Things (IoT) devices and sensors to enhance the quality of the city
services including energy, transportation, health, and much more. They generate massive
volumes of structured and unstructured data on a daily basis. Also, social networks, such as
Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, are becoming a new source of real-time information in smart
cities. Social network users are acting as social sensors. These datasets so large and complex
are difficult to manage with conventional data management tools and methods. To become
valuable, this massive amount of data, known as 'big data,' needs to be processed and
comprehended to hold the promise of supporting a broad range of urban and smart cities
functions, including among others transportation, water, and energy consumption, pollution
surveillance, and smart city governance. In this work, we investigate how social media analytics
help to analyze smart city data collected from various social media sources, such as Twitter and

illegal copying by embedding some information into the multimedia. A watermark is embedded
into the host signal (e.g. - image, video, audio) that can be extracted later to verify identity of the
owner. Digital video watermarking can be of two types – visible watermarking and invisible
watermarking [1]. In case of visible watermarking, the logo or the information appears in the
video frames being completely visible or partially visible. In invisible watermarking, the
information should not appear in the video i.e., it must be perceptually invisible [2]. The invisible
watermarking provides more security to video, though the visible watermarks protect the digital
data in more active manner.
Watermarking techniques can be classified as- Spatial domain and Frequency domain
Watermarking Techniques. Spatial domain techniques can be Correlation based where different
correlation properties are used such as adding noise, or adding pixels and Least Significant Bit
(LSB) modification techniques where the lowest order bit of selected pixels are changed.
Frequency domain techniques, also called transform domain are more robust than spatial domain
techniques and can be of three types DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform), DCT (Discrete Cosine
Transform), DFT (Discrete Fourier Transform). DWT is more efficient than the other transform
domain techniques [3].
In this paper we will focus on a technique that will protect a video from illegal access by
embedding both visible and invisible watermarks into it. An invisible watermark protects a video
from being copied and manipulated from the internet, but if someone takes a copy of that video
using a camera then he will be able to claim it as his own video. To protect the video from this
type of attacks, a visible watermark will be incorporated in the video which will appear in the
video frames randomly depending upon the system and will be partially visible. DWT is used to
embed the watermark in the video frames imperceptibly. The visible watermark is embedded
depending on the user’s choice or randomly. As the video contain both invisible and visible
watermarks so this algorithm will provide more security to the owner's video.
This paper has the following sections: Section II contains brief descriptions about DWT and
Visible Watermarking techniques, Section III deals with the block diagrams and descriptions of
the embedding and extraction procedures, Section IV has the experimental results and lastly,
Section V gives the conclusion.
II. Watermarking Schemes
A. Visible Watermarking
Visible watermark appears in the video frames either continuously or randomly. It should be
partially visible in the video frames, so that the quality of the video is not degraded and also
should be difficult and perhaps impossible to remove from the video frames. It protects the video
in a different manner than that of the invisible watermarking techniques. If someone captures the
video using a camera, then the visible watermarks should randomly appear on the frames which
the attacker cannot remove easily.
B. Discrete Wavelet Transform
The most advanced and useful transform domain watermarking technique is Discrete Wavelet
Transform (DWT). DWT is a hierarchical transform. DWT offers multi resolution analysis i.e., it
has the capabilities to study or analyze a signal at different levels. Wavelets are localized waves;

The method described in this paper can be divided into two parts – embedding and extraction.
The invisible watermark is embedded in the video using DWT. Due to its excellent time
frequency analysis properties, DWT is used to select the regions where the watermark can be
embedded invisibly. To each of the video frames DWT is applied. Then the watermark is
embedded in the transformed coefficients of the video frames. For the visible watermark, the user
can either give the choice of the region for embedding the watermark (for e.g. – top, bottom or

Fig 7, Fig 8 denotes the video frames after embedding the visible
at different positions, depending on the user. The method is user friendly as the user
can choose positions in the frame to embed the watermark. The video frames contain both
invisible and visible watermarks, so the video is more robust to attacks.

The robustness of the video frames is measured in terms of different attacks on the video frames
like 'salt & pepper noise', 'Gaussian noise', 'median filtering' and ‘contrast adjustment’[10]. PSNR
is calculated after the different attacks are applied.
Table1 shows the PSNR values of the video frames after the attacks.
Table1
Attacks PSNR
Salt & pepper noise 28.754
Gaussian noise 28.75
Contrast adjustment 34.39
Median filtering 34.36
V. Related Works
The PSNR values obtained after applying different attacks makes it evident that proposed
watermarking algorithm is robust again these attacks. This algorithm is done in Matlab
platform, work can be done to implement this method in other platforms as well (like C,
OpenCV etc.). In future, some work can be done using this algorithm other data such as
various texts and images. This type of data can also be protected from copying by
embedding watermarks according to the algorithm described in this paper.
VI. Conclusion
In this technique we are including both visible and invisible watermark which gives an
extra edge in the copyright protection. As we are using compound mapping to embed the
visible watermark it helps to increase the robustness of the video. The proposed algorithm
works well on gray scale and on video of uncompressed .avi format. In future work will
be done on the colored video, so that the approached method works well on all types of
videos.
