This document presents a mathematical model for the growth of single species trees over time. The model equations specify parameters for the initial number of trees (x0), the carrying capacity (k), and time (t). The model shows that as the carrying capacity (k) and time (t) increase, the number of single species trees also increases. The model solution shows the number of trees (x) at time (t) as a function of the initial trees, carrying capacity, and time. Several references are provided on forest growth modeling and management.
