have acquired during speech will help me for the rest of my life. No matter what career I choose, I am

speech will also help me just communicate with people in a one on one situation easier than I do now.

John Watson and Classical Conditioning
In psychology, respondent behavior is behavior learned through classical conditioning. This type of
learning is defined as a way in which one learns to link two or more stimuli while also anticipating
events; or other wise, known as a kind of learning that occurs when a conditioned stimulus is paired
with an unconditioned stimulus. While classical conditioning was accidently discovered by Ivan
Pavlov, John B. Watson was interested in taking Pavlov s experiences a bit further. Watson s ultimate
goal was to research how classical conditioning could be seen through humans and not just through

Water Hardness Titration Essay
Title: Determination of Water Hardness Using a Titrator
Purpose: To become familiar with the concept of water hardness, practice a titration technique using a
titrator, and determine the hardness of the local water supply.
Procedure:
1. Gather the test tube holder, small stopcock, 10 mL syringe (titrator), and 2 thick textbooks and the
LabPaq box or 5 6 thick textbooks.
2. Remove the plunger from the titrator and place it back in your LabPaq box.
3. Attach the stopcock to the tip of the titrator by placing the larger, clear, plastic end of the stopcock
into the tip of the titrator and then twisting the stopcock into place. The stopcock should fit tightly into
the titrator, so that the liquid will not leak.

22. Open the stopcock and add 1 drop of EDTA to the purple pink water sample in the beaker.
