Code Of Ethical Conduct For Early Childhood Programs
As the new director of a childcare center serving families from a high risk community, I would look to
the National Association for the Education of Young Children s (NAEYC) Code of Ethical Conduct
Supplement for Early Childhood Program Administrators for guidance in how to conduct myself in a
responsible and professional way (Baptiste Reyes, 2009). This supplement was adopted July 2006 for
the purpose of giving administrators whose programs care for young children guidelines to help them
make responsible decisions as an administrator. This code has five sections (Ethical Responsibilities to
Children, Ethical Responsibilities to Families, Ethical Responsibilities to Personnel, Ethical
Responsibilities to Sponsoring Agencies and Governing Bodies, and Ethical Responsibilities to
Community, Society, and the Field of Early Childhood Education) and is broken up into two
subsections (Ideals and Principles) (Baptiste Reyes, 2009). The ideals subsections are what child care
professionals should strive to achieve, whereas the principles subsections are what guide professionals
in their conduct and in making ethical decisions (Baptiste Reyes, 2009). Utilizing this code of ethical
conduct, I will attempt to fix the rift in trust between the parents of the children at my child care center
and my staff (including myself as the director).
As a director, I would choose some of the more seasoned staff members to meet with me as part of a
task force to rectify the problems at the

The Panda Bear Or Giant Panda
The panda bear or giant panda is located in the south central area of China. It is recognized for its
appearance. It belongs to the Carnivore group even though it eats 99% bamboo. Pandas found in the
wild will eat other grasses, wild tubers, or meat in the form of birds, rodents, or carrion. Pandas in
captivity receive honey, eggs, fish, yams, shrub leaves, oranges, bananas, or other specially prepared
foods. Pandas live in mountain ranges because deforestation has driven them from lowland areas. The
panda is an endangered species. According to a 2007 report, there are 239 pandas living in captivity in
China, 27 pandas living outside the country, and 1,590 pandas living in the wild. The panda bear is a
great symbol in China. This animal is noticed because it is on the endangered species list.
The red panda, though it shares the name of panda, is not a bear. It is more closely related to a raccoon
or skunk and is an endangered species. This panda is called the red panda, lesser panda, or red cat
bear. This animal is not closely related to the giant panda or panda bear. This is an animal that is
adorable and cuddly looking but it also is so much larger than it appears.
Cultural Symbolism:
The panda bear is not only a fluffy creature it is also symbolic to China. The panda can symbolize
friendship and peace. The colors on the panda help resemble the Yin Yang by showing how the two
colors can mix and with the pandas nature it backs this up. The panda is really peaceful and

Does skepticism by the auditor would enhance audit quality
Introduction
The importance off skepticism in performing audits has been recognized from the time the very first
auditing standard was implemented (Fullerton and Durtschi, 2012). The recent financial crises and
audit failures have caused the profession to reassess and emphasise the importance of skepticism
during an audit engagement, ensuring that auditors increase their level of skepticism (Fullerton and
Durtschi, 2012). Auditors are now asked to expand their skeptical perspective to the level used by
forensic experts, which according to Fullerton and Durtschi (2012) assumes that management is
dishonest unless there is evidence to disprove this. The following summary discusses whether a higher
level of skepticism by the auditor would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The effectiveness of an audit procedure and its application is enhanced by the application of
professional skepticism and reduces the possibility that the auditor might select an inappropriate audit
procedure, misapply an appropriate audit procedure, or misinterpret the audit results (IAASB staff
question and answers, 2012).
Is audit quality enhanced by a higher level of skepticism
Fullerton and Durtschi, (2012) in their study found that internal auditors should adopt an elevated
attitude of skepticism, as they are the first line of defense for finding fraud within a firm. Internal
auditors, have an intimate knowledge of the workings of a firm, the corporate environment, as well as
employee activities are in a unique position to spot many of the symptoms of fraud to which an
external auditor may not be aware. Thus internal auditors should be more skeptical and use their
knowledge to enhance their fraud detection in firms (Fullerton and Durtschi, 2012). This is one of the
key inputs into the factors that drive audit quality as external auditors rely on inputs from internal
auditors in obtaining the evidence they require to produce the audit report (Fullerton and Durtschi,
2012).
Internal auditors are as per Fullerton and Durtschi (2012) obligated to be alert to the signs and
possibilities of fraud. External auditors focus on misstatements in the financial statements that are

THEO 330 D03
Walls
Do you ever have the feeling that you are missing out on something important? Ryan starts. It s
Probably because you are. (Loc. 247) Many of us are missing out on all God has for our life. What is
keeping us from living the life God intends? Walls separating us from the greatness God has destined
for us. We get stuck plateauing in our spiritual progress, seeming to come to a screeching halt with our
growth in the Lord. This is the issue Rush begins to portray in his book, Walls.
Rush paints a wonderful picture of how we, as Christians, are to live authentic lives. He provides
much Biblical insight in this book to help us break the walls holding us back. We might overcome
these stumbling blocks by learning ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Blocking Gmo s A Crime Against Humanity
Blocking GMO s A Crime Against Humanity One of the most controversial topics of our time is GM
technology (GMO). Is it safe or not? The emotive nature of this topic is justified considering the fact
that food is paramount to human well being; all claims should be carefully examined. However,
modern scientific studies contradict commonly held opinions opposing GMO s which are in fact
founded on myths and misinformation. There are currently 2000 peer reviewed reports which
document the safety and wholesomeness of GM foods. (Genera.2014) My goal in this paper is to help
open dialogs between activists and the scientific community. Green activists and privileged world
citizens deny life and health to millions when they block the progress and use of genetic modification.
To achieve this goal, I have organized my paper into four sections and two sub sections. I will begin
with and brief description and summary of GMO s and the scientific consensus on the safety and
efficacy of this technology, public opinion that contradicts the science community and the origins of
misinformation. Next I will talk about why GMO s are a major component in solving food insecurity,
death, sickness and poverty. In the third section of this paper involves the efforts of green campaigners
who undermine science and block GMO technology. To conclude, I will provide examples of the
reality of food insecurity worldwide and highlight one significant area to focus resolution efforts,
Golden Rice. I

Hero s, Anti Hero, And Making Order
Hero s, Anti Hero s, and Making Order In The World In Greece: Heracles and Dionysus, part 4 of the
Introduction to Mythology book, it gives a multitude of examples that describes both Heracles and
Dionysus as Hero s, Anti Hero s, as well as, helps portray how they make order in the world. Heracles
and Dionysus are illegitimate sons of the Greek god Zeus who both eventually achieve divine status,
albeit through two completely different paths. Heracles or more commonly known by the Romans as
Hercules, is one of the more recognizable hero s throughout history, his stories are filled with feats of
great strength, bravery, and cunning and is on full display in his series of twelve labors, where he
earns his divine status. On the other hand, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He did however; receive his divine status after his many journeys, namely completing his twelve
labors. The name Heracles is derived from his father s angry wife and goddesses name Hera. It was
meant to ward off her anger but to no avail. The stories of his existence will show how Hera
persecutes him throughout his journey, and brings anti hero moments to his legacy. These stories also
confirm the true hero status he earns by completing the twelve labors and becoming a symbol for
humanity. Heracles had a broad range of personalities. He was taught chariot driving, wrestling,
archery, fencing, and lyre playing at an early age. He famously donned the skin of the lion he killed at
Nemea, and frequently walked around with his symbolic large club that was noted throughout his
many journeys. He was the benefactor of the people and showed it by freeing Prometheus, becoming a
military patron to the ephebes, founding the Olympic games with his earnings, and being a guardian to
his community. He was powerful and at times a savage warrior. Sometimes he could be brutal and cut
off the ears, noses, and hands of people like he did to the extorting Minyans. Other times, he was what
writers like Aristophanes portrayed him to be; obsessed with food and an excessive drunk. At the very
least, he could be a violent man. He was known to have a bad temper but for the most part he used his
violent nature against things that

Irony In Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet
Romeo and Juliet are two names that are constantly associated with love. Love isn t the half of the
story of Romeo and Juliet, it is moreso a story of conflict and secrecy. The reason for the conflict is
the two wealthy families of Capulet and Montague. The conflict between the two houses leads to the
secrecy involved with Romeo and Juliet s Relationship. This can be seen in the physical conflicts
between the houses, how they view each other, and also the conflicts within the houses that happen
because of other conflicts. The story of Romeo and Juliet starts with a fight between the Montagues
and the Capulets. Act 1 scene 1 starts with a disagreement between two Capulet servants and two
Montague servants. Draw, if you be men. Gregory, remember ... Show more content on

though he is a Montague and it is a Capulet party. Because of this he is overcome with rage and the
desire to kill Romeo. Romeo and Juliet fall in love at the party but later Juliet learns he is a Montague.
It is obvious that the fact that he is a Montague is throwing her off. By a name I know not how to tell

Semiotics of Gloves Essay
A glove protects. A glove provides warmth. A glove provides safety. A glove possesses many different
qualities. The presence of a glove in Cather in the Rye and Winter s Bone is something that readers
possibly overlook before delving into the true significance of the book. Once readers closely analyze
the importance within a text, some realize that a small symbol can mean something more than life to a
particular character. Both J.D. Salinger and Daniel Woodrell provide a divine illustration of how
individual culture reflects the arbitrary connection of a specific symbol. In Kaja Silverman s The
Subject of Semiotics, theorist Charles Sanders Peirce demonstrates his specific knowledge about sign
theory. He writes that a sign is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The glove not only represents Holden s love for his younger brother it also exemplifies Allie s
individuality. It is understood that after analyzing Holden s character he hates conflict with anything
around him. He is confused by his brother s death and therefore fears interactions with people and is
hesitant to let people into the barrier her has created for himself. This is seen when he struggles to
explain to Stradlater his descriptive composition assignment. Holden failed to describe a room or
house, and instead described the baseball glove. Holden gives Stradlater the composition and the
conversation flows as follows, This is about a goddamn baseball glove. So what? I said. Cold as hell.
Wuddya mean so what? I told ya it had to be about a goddamn room or a house or something. You
said is had to be descriptive. What the hell s the difference if it s about a baseball glove? (41). This is
definitely contributes to part of his culture and how he chooses to conduct his life. The glove is a part
of him, and to others, a worn out, left handed baseball mitt with scribbles of poems may not mean
anything, but to Holden, it means the world because that is all he has left of his brother. Holden keeps
Allie alive through the baseball glove. And although it s just an old worn

Raising The Minimum Wage Is A Bad Idea
In announcing his wrongheaded proposal to increase the minimum wage to $9 an hour, President
Obama spoke in lofty terms: In the wealthiest nation on Earth, he said in his State of the Union
address last month, no one who works full time should have to live in poverty.
If the debate proceeds as it has many times in the past, then most Democrats will embrace the
president s message and back the proposal, while most Republicans will oppose it, on the grounds that
higher labor costs will lead to higher unemployment.
But we shouldn t rely on political opinions in this debate. Facts clearly demonstrate that raising the
minimum wage is a bad idea.
The case against raising the minimum wage is straightforward: A higher wage makes it more
expensive for firms to hire workers. How big an effect does this have on the job market? Economists
debate this. But no one argues that increasing the minimum wage increases the number of unemployed
workers who find jobs. In the end, the trade off is clear. People who keep their jobs get more money;
those who lose their jobs, or fail to get new ones, suffer.
In announcing his proposal to increase the minimum wage, the president argued that doing so would
alleviate poverty. The president is certainly correct to turn his attention to the poor, many of whom
have been suffering for years in a tough economy. And it is clearly desirable for households that
engage in full time work not to live in poverty. But increasing the minimum wage would

Scientific Method Steps
Scientific method is a set of rules about how to establish rules. Not only to solve scientific problem
but also solving everyday problem. The scientific method have nine steps. The first one is observe that
is when a person observe something that they cannot readily explain with their knowledge. The
second is define the problem, is when you have clear what is the thing that you cannot explain, also is
like the question. Next, review the literature, check if everything that you are going to use is okay and
if you understand so you can get to the point without problems. Another, observe some more, it is
basically the same as the first step but here you have to observe with a different point of view so you

Analysis Of Culture Jamming By Kalle Lasn
T Culture jamming is a phenomenon with a rich history and deep traditions. This unique social
movement is used by anti consumerists who disrupt mainstream cultural institutions to encourage
people to change. The main assumptions of culture jamming become therefore an act in opposition to
the commercialization of social life, the fight against consumerism and make people aware of the
danger flowing from the corporations developments. The culture jamming movement tries to present
ads with different ways to think about consumerism and convince people to change their lifestyle.
Culture jamming attempts to jam the conveyance of our corporate and media complex and presents
itself as an antagonist toward consumer culture. Kalle Lasn and Rachel Shteir describe what cultural
jamming ostensibly seeks to do. Lasn is considered the founding father of the movement of culture
jamming. The author of the book Culture Jamming, Lasn became famous as the creator of Adbusters

The Value Of Philosophy By Bertrand Russell
The essay The Value of Philosophy by Bertrand Russell suggests that many practical people view
philosophy as rather useless, because these people are according to Bertrand Russell operating both
with wrong conceptions about the ends of life and wrong conceptions about what goods philosophy
strives to achieve. According to Russell the value of philosophy is in what it does for the person who
studies it. He makes the point that goods of the mind are as important in life as goods of the body. He
says that the main value of philosophy is that it enlarges one s thoughts, brings one into union with the
not Self , and helps us avoid being caught in narrowness as human beings. His main ideas are that
philosophy is to be studied to enrich our intellects, diminish our dogmatism, and make us citizens of
the universe.
In the essay, Russell presents the study of philosophy as a valuable undertaking, even though it does
not directly help the whole world or increase one s material wealth. The value is to be found for the
student of philosophy herself or himself. This value is primarily found in the intellectual development
that is available for those who undertake the study philosophy. They can escape narrowness,
dogmatism, and narrowness as they become citizens of the world, with enriched intellectual
capacities. Russell concludes with the idea that the mind becomes enlarged through the study of
philosophy.

Small Pox History
Smallpox was once one of the most severe infectious diseases that was endemic throughout the world
for most of the recorded history. It is caused by variola virus (a DNA virus and a member of the
Poxviridae family), and characterized by three phases: incubation, prodrome and rash. This disease
killed and disfigured innumerable millions of people globally.
The origin of smallpox
The historians believe that smallpox appeared around 10 000 B.C. during the first agricultural
settlements in northeastern Africa. From there it spread to India by means of ancient Egyptian
merchants. Furthermore, observations of typical skin rashes on Egyptian mummies dating from 1100
to 1580 B.C. give credence to theories that ancient Egypt was an early region with endemic smallpox.

It is estimated that smallpox was introduced to Europe between the 5th and 7th centuries, with
frequent epidemics during the Middle Ages.
The disease was generally confined to the Eurasian landmass before the 15th century; however,
European colonists introduced smallpox to the Americas (but also Africa and Australia) between 15th
and 18th century with devastating case fatality rates that approached 90%. It is generally believed that
this was instrumental in the fall of the empires of the Aztecs and the Incas.
By the end of 19th century a milder and less lethal form of smallpox (also known as variola minor)
became apparent in the USA. Originally described as Amass (alastrim in South America), this variant
of the virus eventually got recognized in Brazil during the 1970s, as well as in Ethiopia and Somalia

Nuclear Weapons And Its Effects On The World
Nuclear weapons have made a tremendous impact on the world, resulting in both positive and
negative aspects. Ever since the first and only dropping of a nuclear weapon on humanity, which was
during World War II, it has been a controversial topic for all of mankind. Nuclear reactors, which can
ultimately be guised as a center for developing nuclear weapons, do provide help towards
communities with power. They also act as a deterrent between countries. It encourages other countries
to behave. Although nuclear weapons have devastating power and can be used to threaten or persuade
enemy countries, they can be beneficial as well. . The process of creating these requires expensive
equipment and years of experience. It is one of the most hazardous processes in the world and
harvesting radioactive elements is strenuous. From early fears of Nazi power and their experiments of
creating a super weapon in 1939, the world s leading scientists gathered together under President
Franklin D. Roosevelt s command to create a weapon of their own, an atomic bomb. The twenty
billion dollar, three year, and 120,000 man team started the Manhattan Project in 1942. The Manhattan
Project was so secretive that even Vice President Harry Truman knew nothing of the sorts. Many

attractiveness test: Either the industry operating has to be attractive in nature or it should at least have
the capacity to turn attractive in the near future. (Porter, 2009) The relationship between
responsiveness and supply chain cost is regarded as substitution. The synergy factor is highlighted
through identification of the different scope of supply chain responsiveness. The conclusions derived
from this analysis are as follows: a. The identification and exploitation of synergy has helped supply
chain managers to identify the problem and take actions accordingly which could implement
responsiveness and drive costs down. b. By considering the specific extent of responsiveness, the
organization increases the potential to find synergistic relationships which can be used for competitive

Red Scarf Girl Analysis
What would happen if defying the government could result in death? In the memoir Red Scarf Girl, Ji
li describes how everybody had dutifully followed Chairman Mao and took action in helping the
Communist Party. On the other hand, others flouted the Party. During the events of the Cultural
Revolution, Ji li Jiang has self conflicts about her true beliefs. Ji li once believed in the kindness of the
Communist Party and had confidence that the Cultural Revolution would benefit the fate of China.
However, Ji li s beliefs soon change from following the footsteps of Chairman Mao to going against
the Cultural Revolution for the sake of others.
Ji li, similar to the rest of the world, believed in the kindness of the Communist Party. She believed
that it would summon everlasting peace in the world. In fact, Ji li was one of many proud supporters.
Heaven and earth are great, but greater still is the kindness of the Communist Party; father and mother
are dear, but dearer still is Chairman Mao. (p4) When Ji li says this, it conveys that she was in
agreement with the Party and considered Chairman Mao to be more cherished than her parents.
Because of this, it also hints that she is more likely to take Chairman s Mao side and not her own
parents side.
As the story goes along, Ji li is verbally attacked due to her class status in the Cultural Revolution. Ji li
begins to doubt the kindness of the Communist Party. If he hadn t been a landlord, none of this would

I will say it is wrong. Nowdays, we are living in modern world tech world, it means all activities that
we are doing now are being helped by electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops, projectors, TV,

Watching TV actually develop our skills such as language skill, hearing skill, and analytical skill.
Studies showed by using TV as media for learning, the students get higher score compared to the non

getting ready for kindergarten. The studies shows that children are learning core early literacy skills
from the PBS TV series Super Why! and its educational support materials. Another studies that
conducted by The Preschool Prep Company shows many children learned alphabet and letters by
watching their video in under two weeks. So it helps the children feel more confident to enter the

The Role Of Companionship In Mary Shelley s Frankenstein
Throughout the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, the main characters consistently seek out a
companion. Victor depends heavily on companionship from Clerval to keep him from going insane in
times of hardship and tragedy. Walton desires the companionship of a man to share in the beauty and
wonder of things throughout his travels. When asked to be exiled away to South America, The
Creature has one sole request for Victor Frankenstein before he leaves; a female companion to help
him bear the burden of loneliness. The Creature makes his proposal to Victor explaining the struggles
he has endured in an attempt to convince him. Many Romantic characteristics are prevalent in his

One of these would be equality. Throughout his first days of life, The Creature is consistently rejected
by all those around him, including his own creator. This happens repeatedly throughout his life. In
seeking out a companion, this shows the characteristic of equality because he just wants to be like
everyone else and be able to make connection in life. He wishes that his life wasn t filled only with
loneliness and rejection, but with the love of another being. I am alone and miserable; man will not
associate with me... (Frankenstein, Mary Shelley, Chapter 16, Page 133). The Creature is aware of
what he looks like and he knows that the only things that could ever offer him companionship is
something just like him. Another Romantic Element would be the Individual versus society. The
Creature faces rejection from everyone and his desire for a companion to be built for him shows just
that. He has been pushed away from every single person that he has tried to connect with. He has been
poised against society. He knows that the only person who he has a chance of building a relationship
with is one who was made just like him, just as terrible

Evaluation Plan For Rapid Application Development
1.0 Development Approaches 1.1 Rapid Application Development Rapid application development is
an approach that is designed to develop software and systems in which changes are expected to be
made throughout the lifecycle of the approach. The RAD approach uses less time on planning and
emphasizes more resources on an interactive process in rapid prototyping. The RAD methodology
consists of four phases analysis, design, construction and implementation. The four phases are
processed through a chain of short bursts of interactive development cycles according to James Martin
RAD Methodology (Martin, 1991). Requirements planning phase Integrates all the aspects of system
analysis and system planning. Stakeholders within the project team establishes a mutual agreement on
the business objectives, project scope and requirements. Design phase In the design phase, the users
works closely with the system analyst to develop models and prototypes that define the systems
processes and functions. The development of the user design is an ongoing process that enables the
users to make changes to the model until the final product is functional and meets the requirements of
the project. Construction phase During the construction phase, it emphases more on the software
development, users contribute ideas to make improvements in the code of the program and further
changes may be implemented into the system. Implementation phase In final stage of the lifecycle,

Anterior pituitary gland disorders Pathophysiology
The pituitary gland is located at the base of the brain in a protective pocket of the sphenoid bone. The
pituitary gland is about 1 cm in diameter and is divided into the anterior lobe and posterior lobe. The

secretion is regulated by hypothalamic releasing and inhibitory factors delivered via portal capillaries,

Fellowship Of The Ring Movie And Book Comparison Essay
The Fellowship of the Ring Book/Movie Comparison Written by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of
the Ring was released in 1954; it is the first book in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The plot centers
around a young hobbit, Frodo Baggins, who must embark on a treacherous journey to destroy the One
Ring. He is accompanied by Sam, Merry, and Pippin. Some of the other key characters include
Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Boromir, and Gimli. A movie adaptation was released in 2001. Although it
is tremendously rare, in this case, the movie adaptation more efficiently tells the story than the book.
The book commences with Bilbo Baggins one hundred and eleventh birthday celebration (Tolkien 21
30). At the end of his party, Bilbo announces that he is going to depart. Suddenly, he mysteriously
vanishes, and the crowd is astounded (Tolkien 30). Bilbo quickly runs to his home, grabs his
belongings, and walks out the door, vowing never to return. However, right before he departs, he is
briefly visited by Gandalf the wizard. Gandalf encourages him to leave behind a ring (Tolkien 33 34).
At this point in the story, the reader has no clue about the significance of the ring or ... Show more

However, sometimes this acute detail is unnecessary. For an example: throughout the book, Frodo and
his companions spend a large portion of time wandering through the woods, avoiding the Black Riders
who desire to seize the One Ring from Frodo (Tolkien 70 145). All of this time spent wandering is not
important to the story and can quite quickly make the reader lose interest or become bored. While it is
necessary to show Frodo traveling, it is not necessary to have seventy five pages dedicated to traveling
through the woods. In the movie, the time spent traveling through the woods is very brief (Jackson).
This helps the viewer stay engaged in the story. The movie keeps only the important events, which
gives the viewer an easier understanding of the

Preventing Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a medical condition that causes the bones to become delicate and breakable due to a
loss of tissue, usually caused by hormonal changes and even a deficiency of calcium, which includes
vitamin D. If upon a minor fall, or lifting an object the wrong way you may experience a broken bone,
that could be a sign of osteoporosis. Although it is true that while people age, they lose bone density, it
is not true that everyone will for sure get Osteoporosis. There is no known cure yet for Osteoporosis,
however, there are several treatment plans available. The most important part of dealing with
Osteoporosis is knowing proper prevention, providing your body with the right nutrients to maintain
healthy bones, and knowing the treatments accessible to you if you happen to acquire the disease.
In preventing Osteoporosis you must increase bone density as much as you can while you re young
and continue so as the years progress. Protecting your bones starting in childhood has proven to
increase the strength of the bone at later ages. By thirty one should reach the maximum bone density
required for preserving the mass. There are effective steps that may be taken to minimize bone loss ...

Cheapest Football Prediction
Both team to score football prediction has always been one of the cheapest and easiest football

Both team to score, has it sounds means the prediction of the probability of the two teams playing in a
football match to get the ball in both courts, that is the chances of both team scoring. No matter how
hard or soft the football match is, the two teams must make sure to have at least one goal each before

Many times it happens that whenever a good team is playing as away team having an opponent that
has a strong defense strategy, they are often prone to being pressured by the home team and this might
in turn lead to one or two goals, though the good team might end up winning the match but the main
objective of the prediction have been achieved.
Another good idea is looking for the injury level of the players from both teams and how often they
could survive injury on the pitch. A striker or defender who has a long record of injury survived could
easily fall into another scene of being injured in a match lasting for over 90minutes. Therefore, if a
star striker or defender is injured the chances of that team scoring or defending obviously fall and this
in one way or other may lead to achieving the aim of both team scoring.
Summarily, Looking for teams that have weaker attacking or defense skills has always been a very
good strategy of finding matches for both teams to score. When both teams have weaker attacking or
defense skills, it becomes very easy for both teams to penetrate into each other s court thereby creating
series of scoring

Direct Cinema Essay
Direct Cinema
The term direct cinema was coined by American director Albert Maysles, to describe the style of
documentary that he and his contemporaries were making in the 1960s as a result of a lightweight,
portable 16mm camera and high quality lightweight audio recorders becoming available. The
introduction of these, together with film stock which was sensitive enough to give a good quality close
up monochrome picture under most lighting conditions
(Including hand held lights) led to a revolution in Documentary filmmaking, allowing film crews to be
much more flexible. Gone were the days of bulky, virtually immobile 35mm cameras; now
manufacturers improved their 16mm stock and accepted it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ideal subjects for documentaries according to the direct cinema ethos were:
1) A person who is interesting;
2) A person who is in an interesting situation which s/he cares deeply about;
3) A subject where a conclusion can be arrived at in a limited time; and
4) A subject where there is easy access to events.
The group believed that the cameraman, the director and the sound recordist were all equal in status
and were all film makers, playing a role in an integrated process. They felt that the filmmaker s
relationship with the subject was personal and one of equality, and that an audience was active in its
engagement with the film. Direct cinema practitioners wished the audience to be presented with
sufficient evidence to enable them to make up their own minds and not be mere passive observers.

Direct cinema was conceived with TV in mind. In the 60s TV had poor picture quality, the black and
white image being frequently fuzzy with viewers reliant on good quality sound. Image quality such as
this fitted in perfectly with direct cinema s stance on camera framing and editing; anything more

A Comparison of Beowulf and Icelandic Sagas Essay

There are many similarities between the hero of the poem Beowulf and the heroes of the two Icelandic

The terrain was rugged and not easy to travel on. The men would have to hike thousands of miles
through mountains and rocky hills where they fell constantly, severely injuring themselves. Since the
men did not have a doctor s office nearby, when they got cut from rocks or other natural dangers, they
would have to use anything they could find to help them. If someone got badly injured and was not

Lenny s Controversy About Selling Cheap Baskets Online
Lenny s opportunity experienced a needed evolution. It is difficult for investors and participants in the
company to get excited about selling cheap caskets online. First of all, the topic of funerals is a topic
that few people want to talk about as it reminds people of their own morality. Second of all, as Randy
says, the original model for Funerals.com was a Better Faster Cheaper start up with no real sustainable
competitive advantage. This additionally makes it unattractive to investors. From a personal
standpoint, as a member of a family who has had to plan their fair share of funerals, online casket
shopping would not have even been a consideration. In my family, the look and feel of a casket played
a significant role in our ultimate casket decision. If a person had to buy a casket online, they would not

If this incident occurred, it would result in extreme customer dissatisfaction at a moment in which the
customer is already feeling vulnerable. For these reasons, when I read Lenny s original idea for
Funerals.com, I just shook my head. In his final opportunity Lenny has more passion and comes
across to Randy as less profit driven. In his second meeting with Randy, Lenny is not just spewing
information that he believes both investors and Randy want to hear, like with his first opportunity, but
he actually has passion and purpose behind his pitch. It is this passion that will help him through the
rough stages of a start up. The final opportunity offers the intersection of the Deferred Life Plan.
Lenny is doing what he has to do, by growing the business, while pursuing what he presumably loves,
helping grieving families. In his original opportunity, all Lenny wanted to do was to sell cheap
caskets, make a profit, and sell the company as soon as

A Battle with Life in Wanting to Die by Anne Sexton Essay
A Battle with Life in Wanting to Die by Anne Sexton
The poem Wanting to Die by Anne Sexton, explores a battle with life which many people endure. The
speaker knows of the goodness of the world, yet she is unable to truly experience it because of her
suicidal tendencies. She understands her feeling as more of an obsession with death rather than a hate
for life. Though the speaker is still alive, she relapses, every so often, into the darkness of her soul.
Through her vivid use of imagery, Sexton creates and elucidates the speaker s susceptibility to suicide.
It is apparent from the first stanza the speaker finds her life lacking. The first lines of the poem
describe the speaker s ordinary days: Since you ask, most ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
the grass blades you mention... furniture you have placed... ( 5 6) This person seemingly hopes, as the
reader does, for the speaker and wants for her every happiness. The next stanza invites the reader into
the speaker s mind and soul. We learn depression is more than a hate for life, it is something one must
experience to be able to relate to, as in line 7: But suicides have a special language. This stanza also
alludes to the fact that when the speaker is suicidal she refrains from looking at the big picture; instead
she focuses on the few bad experiences which drive her that much deeper into depression.
The following stanza invites the reader to learn about the suicide attempts of the speaker: Twice I have
simply declared myself, / have possessed the enemy, eaten the enemy, / have taken on his craft, his
magic (10 12). Here the reader learns of the speaker s two suicide attempts. This stanza also implies
the speaker s anger toward her illness. She associates her depression as the enemy, almost as if
depression were the devil in flesh coming to her, haunting her, luring her to death, a death of
submission.
The fifth stanza, with its vivid images, is exceedingly descriptive in its discussion of the speaker s
means of suicide: In this way, heavy and thoughtful, / warmer than oil or water, / I have rested,
drooling

Analyzing The Film Raiders Of The Lost Ark
This was my first time watching Raiders of the Lost Ark let alone any Indiana Jones movie. It took a
hill to finally find the film online but when I did i was exited to see the film, every website I went was
giving it 9/10 ratings or 5/5 I don t recall seeing anything less then a 4 or 9. Then after seeing Stephen
Spielberg directed and George Lucas helped write the film I knew there was going to be thrill, action,
comedy and everything else it takes to make a Great film. The film starts by introducing Dr. Henry
leading an exploration team through a thick jungle of South America, as he comes to a stop one of the
group members pulls out a gun behind him, Dr. Henry hears the gun get loaded and slowly grabs his
whip. Before you know it you see ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Everyone is then killed leaving Jones and Marion free but exhausted from the high energy. The movie
then skips to a couple weeks later where Jones is taking to the two Army officers that sent him on the
expedition, they talk about the powers the Ark has and understand whats at stake. They then show the
Ark stored in a government warehouse and is the last scene of the film. The movie was very well
written it had me on the edge of my seat with all the action going on. It was also funny in ironic way
how things would end up for Jones and also added humor to the action film. The movie was generally
not dark unless they were in a car or spooky place, the action scenes didn t have much special effects
but didn t need it either. Most of the explosions, car chases, temples destroying and etc. looked real
and worked well. Steven Spielberg did a great job directing the film as well with good angles and
scenes like the opening his film style had a great effect on the

San José De Moro s Social Responsibility
1. Introduction of research question (500 words)
The territory in which the country of Peru is now located has been uninterruptedly occupied for
thousands of years. This continuous human settlement in the area has left us with a vast number of
archaeological sites, historic buildings and religious structures. The large number of sites in addition
to the large artifact collections that can be found in the Peruvian museums creates an almost
insurmountable labor for the federal, provincial and local governments, as well as the professionals
involved in the various aspects of the preservation of these materials.
Despite the richness in its cultural heritage, 9.7% of Peru s 30,973,000 population lives in poverty
(Poverty headcount ratio at 2 PPP$ a day). This fact, coupled with the lack of supervision and/or
protection of archaeological and historic sites has exposed Peru s cultural heritage to looting and
destruction, the illegal occupation of areas designated as national patrimony, illicit trafficking of

The author believes that while it is a necessary first step towards developing a sustainable plan, the
lack of vision and the poor implementation of the proposal leaves the community with an unviable,
halfway done program which does little to engage the community in the preservation of the site.
Through the study and review of two specific aspects of San José de Moro s social responsibility plan:
1. The Modular Museum Program as a heritage tourism tool, and 2. The Development of a Local
Identity, it is the purpose of this paper to demonstrate that in order to achieve a sustainable
preservation of the site, the local community must be treated as an equal stakeholder and decision
maker. Unfortunately, this has not been the case.

Holidays and celebrations are very common throughout the world. As Pakistan and sub continent has a
strong history and heritage, there are many holidays and celebrations which are being celebrated on
the basis of religion, culture and nationalism. Following are the main festivals divided in three
categories:
2.1 Religious Festivals and Customs
All Muslim festivals are celebrated according to Lunar Calendar. The main Islamic festivals celebrated
in Pakistan are Ramadan, Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha, Shab e Qadar, Shab e Barat, Shab e Miraj, Milad un
Nabi, Youm e Ashura, Birth Rites and Funeral Rites etc. (What is Islam about?, 2015).
Some of the above mentioned festivals like Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha, Shab e Qadar, Shab e Miraj and
Ramadan are celebrated all over the Muslim world. These festivals have been a part of Muslim world
since Islam came into being; however, others are only celebrated in sub continent region such as Shab
e Barat, Milad un Nabi, Birth Rites and Funeral Rites. These festivals are not demanded by the
religion but are celebrated to remember the religious importance. ... Show more content on

(Uh.edu, 2015).
These holidays and celebrations started being celebrated after Pakistan came into existence. They are
celebrated in remembrance of a historic event or a person of importance. Special debates, drams, plays
and defense exhibitions are arranged to highlight the importance of these days to the next generations.

  • 2. Code Of Ethical Conduct For Early Childhood Programs As the new director of a childcare center serving families from a high risk community, I would look to the National Association for the Education of Young Children s (NAEYC) Code of Ethical Conduct Supplement for Early Childhood Program Administrators for guidance in how to conduct myself in a responsible and professional way (Baptiste Reyes, 2009). This supplement was adopted July 2006 for the purpose of giving administrators whose programs care for young children guidelines to help them make responsible decisions as an administrator. This code has five sections (Ethical Responsibilities to Children, Ethical Responsibilities to Families, Ethical Responsibilities to Personnel, Ethical Responsibilities to Sponsoring Agencies and Governing Bodies, and Ethical Responsibilities to Community, Society, and the Field of Early Childhood Education) and is broken up into two subsections (Ideals and Principles) (Baptiste Reyes, 2009). The ideals subsections are what child care professionals should strive to achieve, whereas the principles subsections are what guide professionals in their conduct and in making ethical decisions (Baptiste Reyes, 2009). Utilizing this code of ethical conduct, I will attempt to fix the rift in trust between the parents of the children at my child care center and my staff (including myself as the director). As a director, I would choose some of the more seasoned staff members to meet with me as part of a task force to rectify the problems at the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Panda Bear Or Giant Panda The panda bear or giant panda is located in the south central area of China. It is recognized for its appearance. It belongs to the Carnivore group even though it eats 99% bamboo. Pandas found in the wild will eat other grasses, wild tubers, or meat in the form of birds, rodents, or carrion. Pandas in captivity receive honey, eggs, fish, yams, shrub leaves, oranges, bananas, or other specially prepared foods. Pandas live in mountain ranges because deforestation has driven them from lowland areas. The panda is an endangered species. According to a 2007 report, there are 239 pandas living in captivity in China, 27 pandas living outside the country, and 1,590 pandas living in the wild. The panda bear is a great symbol in China. This animal is noticed because it is on the endangered species list. The red panda, though it shares the name of panda, is not a bear. It is more closely related to a raccoon or skunk and is an endangered species. This panda is called the red panda, lesser panda, or red cat bear. This animal is not closely related to the giant panda or panda bear. This is an animal that is adorable and cuddly looking but it also is so much larger than it appears. Cultural Symbolism: The panda bear is not only a fluffy creature it is also symbolic to China. The panda can symbolize friendship and peace. The colors on the panda help resemble the Yin Yang by showing how the two colors can mix and with the pandas nature it backs this up. The panda is really peaceful and ... • 4. Does skepticism by the auditor would enhance audit quality Introduction The importance off skepticism in performing audits has been recognized from the time the very first auditing standard was implemented (Fullerton and Durtschi, 2012). The recent financial crises and audit failures have caused the profession to reassess and emphasise the importance of skepticism during an audit engagement, ensuring that auditors increase their level of skepticism (Fullerton and Durtschi, 2012). Auditors are now asked to expand their skeptical perspective to the level used by forensic experts, which according to Fullerton and Durtschi (2012) assumes that management is dishonest unless there is evidence to disprove this. The following summary discusses whether a higher level of skepticism by the auditor would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The effectiveness of an audit procedure and its application is enhanced by the application of professional skepticism and reduces the possibility that the auditor might select an inappropriate audit procedure, misapply an appropriate audit procedure, or misinterpret the audit results (IAASB staff question and answers, 2012). Is audit quality enhanced by a higher level of skepticism Fullerton and Durtschi, (2012) in their study found that internal auditors should adopt an elevated attitude of skepticism, as they are the first line of defense for finding fraud within a firm. Internal auditors, have an intimate knowledge of the workings of a firm, the corporate environment, as well as employee activities are in a unique position to spot many of the symptoms of fraud to which an external auditor may not be aware. Thus internal auditors should be more skeptical and use their knowledge to enhance their fraud detection in firms (Fullerton and Durtschi, 2012). This is one of the key inputs into the factors that drive audit quality as external auditors rely on inputs from internal auditors in obtaining the evidence they require to produce the audit report (Fullerton and Durtschi, 2012). Internal auditors are as per Fullerton and Durtschi (2012) obligated to be alert to the signs and possibilities of fraud. External auditors focus on misstatements in the financial statements that are material in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Blocking Gmo s A Crime Against Humanity Blocking GMO s A Crime Against Humanity One of the most controversial topics of our time is GM technology (GMO). Is it safe or not? The emotive nature of this topic is justified considering the fact that food is paramount to human well being; all claims should be carefully examined. However, modern scientific studies contradict commonly held opinions opposing GMO s which are in fact founded on myths and misinformation. There are currently 2000 peer reviewed reports which document the safety and wholesomeness of GM foods. (Genera.2014) My goal in this paper is to help open dialogs between activists and the scientific community. Green activists and privileged world citizens deny life and health to millions when they block the progress and use of genetic modification. To achieve this goal, I have organized my paper into four sections and two sub sections. I will begin with and brief description and summary of GMO s and the scientific consensus on the safety and efficacy of this technology, public opinion that contradicts the science community and the origins of misinformation. Next I will talk about why GMO s are a major component in solving food insecurity, death, sickness and poverty. In the third section of this paper involves the efforts of green campaigners who undermine science and block GMO technology. To conclude, I will provide examples of the reality of food insecurity worldwide and highlight one significant area to focus resolution efforts, Golden Rice. I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These stories also confirm the true hero status he earns by completing the twelve labors and becoming a symbol for humanity. Heracles had a broad range of personalities. He was taught chariot driving, wrestling, archery, fencing, and lyre playing at an early age. He famously donned the skin of the lion he killed at Nemea, and frequently walked around with his symbolic large club that was noted throughout his many journeys. The presence of a glove in Cather in the Rye and Winter s Bone is something that readers possibly overlook before delving into the true significance of the book. Once readers closely analyze the importance within a text, some realize that a small symbol can mean something more than life to a particular character. Both J.D. • 11. Raising The Minimum Wage Is A Bad Idea In announcing his wrongheaded proposal to increase the minimum wage to $9 an hour, President Obama spoke in lofty terms: In the wealthiest nation on Earth, he said in his State of the Union address last month, no one who works full time should have to live in poverty. If the debate proceeds as it has many times in the past, then most Democrats will embrace the president s message and back the proposal, while most Republicans will oppose it, on the grounds that higher labor costs will lead to higher unemployment. But we shouldn t rely on political opinions in this debate. Facts clearly demonstrate that raising the minimum wage is a bad idea. The case against raising the minimum wage is straightforward: A higher wage makes it more expensive for firms to hire workers. How big an effect does this have on the job market? Economists debate this. But no one argues that increasing the minimum wage increases the number of unemployed workers who find jobs. In the end, the trade off is clear. People who keep their jobs get more money; those who lose their jobs, or fail to get new ones, suffer. In announcing his proposal to increase the minimum wage, the president argued that doing so would alleviate poverty. The president is certainly correct to turn his attention to the poor, many of whom have been suffering for years in a tough economy. And it is clearly desirable for households that engage in full time work not to live in poverty. But increasing the minimum wage would ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 15. The Value Of Philosophy By Bertrand Russell The essay The Value of Philosophy by Bertrand Russell suggests that many practical people view philosophy as rather useless, because these people are according to Bertrand Russell operating both with wrong conceptions about the ends of life and wrong conceptions about what goods philosophy strives to achieve. According to Russell the value of philosophy is in what it does for the person who studies it. He makes the point that goods of the mind are as important in life as goods of the body. He says that the main value of philosophy is that it enlarges one s thoughts, brings one into union with the not Self , and helps us avoid being caught in narrowness as human beings. His main ideas are that philosophy is to be studied to enrich our intellects, diminish our dogmatism, and make us citizens of the universe. In the essay, Russell presents the study of philosophy as a valuable undertaking, even though it does not directly help the whole world or increase one s material wealth. The value is to be found for the student of philosophy herself or himself. This value is primarily found in the intellectual development that is available for those who undertake the study philosophy. They can escape narrowness, dogmatism, and narrowness as they become citizens of the world, with enriched intellectual capacities. Russell concludes with the idea that the mind becomes enlarged through the study of philosophy. [PLEASE NOTE!: I have not put much commentary on the quotes here, but ... These both agree with the expected literature range for the vibrations for the O H stretch of a Hydroxyl group of 3200 3500 cm 1 possibly being slightly lower due to conjugation within the aromatic ring. A weaker O H stretch vibration can be seen in the ortho product due to aforementioned hydrogen bonding that occurs between the alcohol and nitro group of the benzene ring. Signal A is a (insert signal A chemical shift) singlet, agreeing with the literature value of 4.5 7.7 ppm for the hydroxyl hydrogen of a phenol and being a singlet due to having no adjacent hydrogens following the N+1 rule. This hydrogen is deshielded by the oxygen to which it is attached to, the ring current produced by the aromatic ring, as well as by the electron withdrawing effects of the nitro group therefore appearing fairly downfield, but in relation to the other signals is the most upfield. The rest of the protons are aromatic protons and agree with the literature value range of 6.0 9.5ppm for protons on a benzene ring all of which are deshielded due to the induced magnetic field produced by the ring current. Moving downfield from signal A the next signal is signal D a (insert signal D chemical shift) triplet being the least deshielded of the arene protons due to being far from both the nitro group and the alcohol and being a triplet due to having two adjacent nonequivalent hydrogens (n+1). The next signal moving downfield is Signal C a (insert signal C chemical shift) triplet being slightly more deshielded than signal D due to being closer to the more electronegative oxygen and a triplet due to having two adjacent nonequivalent hydrogens. The men would have to hike thousands of miles through mountains and rocky hills where they fell constantly, severely injuring themselves. Since the men did not have a doctor s office nearby, when they got cut from rocks or other natural dangers, they would have to use anything they could find to help them. If someone got badly injured and was not able to walk, they would have to be left behind. The crew later became a walking hospital filled with skin diseases, exhaustion, dysentery, constipation, fevers, malaria, strained muscles, sore eyes, boils and venereal diseases. • 41. Lenny s Controversy About Selling Cheap Baskets Online Lenny s opportunity experienced a needed evolution. It is difficult for investors and participants in the company to get excited about selling cheap caskets online. First of all, the topic of funerals is a topic that few people want to talk about as it reminds people of their own morality. Second of all, as Randy says, the original model for Funerals.com was a Better Faster Cheaper start up with no real sustainable competitive advantage. This additionally makes it unattractive to investors. From a personal standpoint, as a member of a family who has had to plan their fair share of funerals, online casket shopping would not have even been a consideration. In my family, the look and feel of a casket played a significant role in our ultimate casket decision. If a person had to buy a casket online, they would not know ... For these reasons, when I read Lenny s original idea for Funerals.com, I just shook my head. In his final opportunity Lenny has more passion and comes across to Randy as less profit driven. In his second meeting with Randy, Lenny is not just spewing information that he believes both investors and Randy want to hear, like with his first opportunity, but he actually has passion and purpose behind his pitch. It is this passion that will help him through the rough stages of a start up. The final opportunity offers the intersection of the Deferred Life Plan. Lenny is doing what he has to do, by growing the business, while pursuing what he presumably loves, helping grieving families. In his original opportunity, all Lenny wanted to do was to sell cheap caskets, make a profit, and sell the company as soon as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 42. A Battle with Life in Wanting to Die by Anne Sexton Essay A Battle with Life in Wanting to Die by Anne Sexton The poem Wanting to Die by Anne Sexton, explores a battle with life which many people endure. The speaker knows of the goodness of the world, yet she is unable to truly experience it because of her suicidal tendencies. She understands her feeling as more of an obsession with death rather than a hate for life. Though the speaker is still alive, she relapses, every so often, into the darkness of her soul. Through her vivid use of imagery, Sexton creates and elucidates the speaker s susceptibility to suicide. It is apparent from the first stanza the speaker finds her life lacking. The first lines of the poem describe the speaker s ordinary days: Since you ask, most ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... the grass blades you mention... furniture you have placed... ( 5 6) This person seemingly hopes, as the reader does, for the speaker and wants for her every happiness. The next stanza invites the reader into the speaker s mind and soul. We learn depression is more than a hate for life, it is something one must experience to be able to relate to, as in line 7: But suicides have a special language. This stanza also alludes to the fact that when the speaker is suicidal she refrains from looking at the big picture; instead she focuses on the few bad experiences which drive her that much deeper into depression. The following stanza invites the reader to learn about the suicide attempts of the speaker: Twice I have simply declared myself, / have possessed the enemy, eaten the enemy, / have taken on his craft, his magic (10 12). Here the reader learns of the speaker s two suicide attempts. This stanza also implies the speaker s anger toward her illness. She associates her depression as the enemy, almost as if depression were the devil in flesh coming to her, haunting her, luring her to death, a death of submission. The fifth stanza, with its vivid images, is exceedingly descriptive in its discussion of the speaker s means of suicide: In this way, heavy and thoughtful, / warmer than oil or water, / I have rested, drooling ... • 43. Analyzing The Film Raiders Of The Lost Ark This was my first time watching Raiders of the Lost Ark let alone any Indiana Jones movie. It took a hill to finally find the film online but when I did i was exited to see the film, every website I went was giving it 9/10 ratings or 5/5 I don t recall seeing anything less then a 4 or 9. Then after seeing Stephen Spielberg directed and George Lucas helped write the film I knew there was going to be thrill, action, comedy and everything else it takes to make a Great film. The film starts by introducing Dr. Henry leading an exploration team through a thick jungle of South America, as he comes to a stop one of the group members pulls out a gun behind him, Dr. Henry hears the gun get loaded and slowly grabs his whip. The movie then skips to a couple weeks later where Jones is taking to the two Army officers that sent him on the expedition, they talk about the powers the Ark has and understand whats at stake. They then show the Ark stored in a government warehouse and is the last scene of the film. The movie was very well written it had me on the edge of my seat with all the action going on. It was also funny in ironic way how things would end up for Jones and also added humor to the action film. The movie was generally not dark unless they were in a car or spooky place, the action scenes didn t have much special effects but didn t need it either. Most of the explosions, car chases, temples destroying and etc. looked real and worked well. Steven Spielberg did a great job directing the film as well with good angles and scenes like the opening his film style had a great effect on the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 44. San José De Moro s Social Responsibility 1. Introduction of research question (500 words) The territory in which the country of Peru is now located has been uninterruptedly occupied for thousands of years. This continuous human settlement in the area has left us with a vast number of archaeological sites, historic buildings and religious structures. The large number of sites in addition to the large artifact collections that can be found in the Peruvian museums creates an almost insurmountable labor for the federal, provincial and local governments, as well as the professionals involved in the various aspects of the preservation of these materials. Despite the richness in its cultural heritage, 9.7% of Peru s 30,973,000 population lives in poverty (Poverty headcount ratio at 2 PPP$ a day). This fact, coupled with the lack of supervision and/or protection of archaeological and historic sites has exposed Peru s cultural heritage to looting and destruction, the illegal occupation of areas designated as national patrimony, illicit trafficking of cultural ... Through the study and review of two specific aspects of San José de Moro s social responsibility plan: 1. The Modular Museum Program as a heritage tourism tool, and 2. The Development of a Local Identity, it is the purpose of this paper to demonstrate that in order to achieve a sustainable preservation of the site, the local community must be treated as an equal stakeholder and decision maker.
