Report On Control Testing Results Essay
Control Testing Results (Slides 4 8) (CAP Slides 81 102)
Overall Comments
 DLA s control testing results does not identify a time period for when the controls were assessed.
 The document does not identify which controls were assessed for the various assessable units.
 Work products for the assessable units (referenced below) will be provided to FIAR the week of
9/28/15 with Group 8 document submission.
 Although the control failures are similar to what we ve seen in previous SBA and Inventory
assertion packages, we are unable to specifically identify the controls that were assessed by DLA.
 There were a total number of 80 key controls for the FRR assessable units (Trial Balance
Management/ Invoice to Disbursement/ Billing to Collections) 56 of which were tested to date. FIAR
will need to determine if the controls were unique to each assessable unit and when DLA plans to test
the 24 remaining controls.
 It appears that assessable unit, Inventory Transaction Reporting, was formerly titled,
P2S_PCM13=NEIQ Perform Inventory Management IRM. If in fact the process was renamed during
the PCM consolidation process, there were several process and control gaps identified within the
former PCM. FIAR needs to determine if the gaps, previously identified, are being remediated by the
agency and tracked by CAP documentation.
P_FRR_38_Trial_Balance_Management o Please confirm if the 35 key controls noted are specific to
the Trial Balance Management assessable unit;

Resurrection Of Jesus
I believe that within the Gospels in the Bible we are able to find a deeper understanding of God s
unbelievable love for us as it discloses God s true purpose for Jesus life, which is so much more than
just showing us how to be good people. Jesus came to strengthen his understanding. Bruce Bickel and
Stan Jantz said I Knowing the Bible 101: A Guide to God s Word in Plain Language that As a man,
Christ knew the struggles that we face in our daily lives. He was not immune to temptation, pain, and
sorrow. (p. 220) This was so that God could carry out his plan to save us, which Bickle and Jantz
described like this Luke includes this quote of Jesus, which gives the best statement of His purpose:
And I, the Son of Man, have come to seek and save those like him who are lost. (Luke 19:10). (p. 221)

I did not know that his ministry had only been done in a 3 year time span, which I find absolutely
astounding. What he was able to accomplish in just 3 years and the legacy he left behind after his
death is a miracle in itself really, when you look at the means for communication at that time. I also
see his resurrection in a new light after the reading this week, because I knew that it was God s plan,
but I never really looked at it as an act of service like described by Bickel and Jantz Mark emphasizes
Christ s ultimate act of servanthood with the crucifixion. Reading that opened my eyes, because
though I knew he was crucified to save us, which is an act of service, I never viewed it as

Diversity As A Common And Ordinary Individual
Everyone is told at some point in their life that it is okay to be different, and should not be ashamed of
who they are. They are told that being unique should be encouraged and that they should not hide
from it. For this reason, diversity is exceptional. But what happens when excessive diversity divides
citizens, causing contentions? Who then can decide what diversity is and whether it is convenient,
especially after it may have caused a war? Entirely for this instance, diversity only matters to an
extent. It is fair enough to be different, but over emphasizing diversity can divide communities,
citizens, and students rather than unify them. There should be a balance between diversity and
uniformity, and one should not overpower another. In essence, a common and ordinary individual
should have the freedom to decide what diversity is and whether he or she wishes to exercise it or not.
Children, teens, and adults are constantly being told that diversity should be promoted, usually by
teachers, leaders, parents, and other acquaintances. Especially in the 21st century where being
different is progressively becoming acceptable, it seems as if people expect, or pressure them to
differentiate themselves among others. Be different, because everyone hates the same, boring person,
has become a threatening phrase to those who only want to be themselves, but can t because they fear
of being that same, boring person. Instead of convincing others to be different and unique, it would

Chilean Human Rights Violations Had An Undoubted...
The case about Chilean human rights violations had an undoubted international significance. Its
highest point came with the arrest of General Pinochet in London in 1998, at the request of arrest
warrant and subsequent processing issued by Judge Garzón.
The detention lasted for 503 days; nearly a year and a half that gave rise to several judicial and
political actions and reactions that serve as the basis of understanding of the topic of the essay. On the
one hand, the debate on universal jurisdiction and protection of human rights was intensified both
internationally and domestically. On the other hand, different attitudes become evident within Spain:
were actors like Castresana, Garzón and Garcés who pushed and pressured for the process (largely
motivated by the various associations of victims), while the Prosecutor and the Government showed a
somewhat reluctant and even contrary position to it.
Without going into further details about British courts decisions, it suffices to recall that the House of
Lords Committee finally decided that Pinochet had no criminal immunity and that his extradition was
possible . Nonetheless, a political decision based on humanitarian grounds freed Pinochet, who
returned to Chile when some legal proceedings had already initiated to investigate human rights
violations occurred during both the coup and Pinochet s mandate, and he was finally put into trial.
Once again, external pressures were significant factors when promoting domestic

Elizabeth Gaskell s North And South
In Elizabeth Gaskell s North and South, the simmering tension between the striking mill workers of
Milton and their employer John Thornton come to a head in Chapter 22 A Blow and its Consequences
. The millhands, enraged at Thornton s hiring of Irish workers while they are on strike, descend in a
mob upon Thornton s mill and home. This chapter is also pivotal in the relationship between Thornton
and the novel s principal character Margaret Hale. In the novel, Gaskell parallels the conflict between
Thornton and his workers with the conflict between Thornton and Margaret. Both relationships erupt
in this chapter leading to consequences throughout the rest of the novel. Gaskell establishes the
tension in this chapter by using imagery and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Jane shrinking from her inspection (p218) suggests her motive for her action may have something to

Precision Tree calculated the EMV for medium and high production which resulted in an outcome of
$1,025,000 and $850,000 respectively. Therefore the decision with the highest predicted payoff would
be to choose the batch flow and to produce 15,000 items.
Question 2: Sensitivity Analysis In order to get a better understanding of what the key inputs or most
sensitive input variables were, a sensitivity analysis was conducted on all of the inputs involved in this
case. For the sensitivity analysis an arbitrary number of 25% was chosen to vary the inputs in order to
analyze their effects on the EMV. For the sake of clarity and simplicity we then decided to focus on
several of the main inputs (and combinations of these inputs) that had the greatest effect on the EMV
or were deemed necessary for analysis. These were: * Sales Price * Quantity of High or low Demand
* Probability of High Demand * Outsource Cost * Clearance Cost As we can see from the tornado

price of the avalanche racer. An increase/decrease of 25% of the sales price of the Avalanche Racer led

Chris McCandless is NOT a Hero in the Book, Into the Wild...
Many people have read the story Into the Wild By Jon Krakauer, when mentioning the name Chris
McCandless he is either viewed as hero or as a dumb man. The people who view him as a hero tend to
believe that he was determined enough to want to do something. Others view him as an idiot who just
wanted attention. Him being unprepared and not knowing much about how to survive in the wild
made McCandless an idiot, the dumb jerk. Also causing him to be a poor role model to multiple
people causing them to end up in dangerous situations that could be threatening to their lives.
Having the right supplies for hiking or in Chris s case going out to live in the wild is critical. Chris
was lacking in this category. When Chris was found a few weeks later in the woods it was evident that
he didn t have the food supply he needed to survive. Matthew Power from Men s Journal The
Magazine, brings up the point that Chris only brought a few things with him, Setting off with little
more than a twenty two caliber rifle and a ten pound bag of rice, McCandless hoped to find his true
self by renouncing society and living off the land. Chris later proved that even if you intend to live off
the land if you are not used to it and living that way it is going to be extremely hard and may even
result in death.
Chris was on a death mission weather he realized it or not. He went into the wild and is now causing
people to unintentionally cause self harm to themselves. Peter Christian added, Some like

Social Media And Organizational Psychology At Harvard...
Many teachers, professors, and businesses are using group work thinking it will help reduce the
amount of work each person will have to contribute. The truth behind this is that the majority of the
work usually gets put on one person entirely. Opinions from other members of the group interfere with
the success of the group as well. In recent years, some research has been done on finding out just how
much better is group work than solo work. The findings might come as a surprise to you. J. Richard
Hackman, the Edgar Pierce Professor of Social Media and Organizational Psychology at Harvard
University has ran a few experimental groups to find out the answer. Even though many people will
say that group work will bring people together; factors such as group thinking, opinion and larger
groups can make for a failing group. Are Opinions Good For Working In Groups? One of the
problems with group work is that some of the members may have different views. People believe that
with group work there will be more ideas being contributed to the task at hand. The issue with having
more people in the group is that they all have different opinions. This factor here can be the cause for
conflict throughout the group. According to J. Richard Hackman, the Edgar Pierce Professor of Social
and Organizational Psychology at Harvard University, the main problem with group work is
coordination and motivation typically chip away at the benefits of collaboration. (Diane). Members

Analysis Of The Film Green Lantern
As one can imagine, being trapped out in the ocean, hundreds of feet from any kind of safety while an
enormous shark is circling you, has to be the most frightening experience one can endure. Nancy, a
young medical student ventures out to a secluded beach in Mexico to enjoy some time surfing, but
little does she know how close to death she will come. The suspense that builds up as Nancy struggles
to escape her predator throughout the film is what keeps the viewers on their toes, as the entire movie
revolves around her plan to make it back to shore. This being the plot, can seem dull and uninteresting
at first, but as the film progresses, it s hard to take your eyes off the screen. The acting of Blake
Lively, who plays Nancy, helps to make the film even better, as many people know her from her other
acting rolls, such as Sarena van der Woodsen from the hit television show Gossip Girl and Carol Ferris
from the film Green Lantern . The director of the film, Jaume Collet Serra, is known for creating
movies with an extensive amount of suspense. He is able to get an incredible performance from actors,
as well as understand all of the scenes from the perspective of the viewers, thus giving him the ability
to know exactly what needs to take place to keep the film interesting. Because Blake Lively is in every
scene, it is obvious that the film is customized to her and her acting skills. She portrays a protagonist
who most overcome her fear and gain strength throughout the course

Critical Success Factors Of BPM
Critical success Factors of BPM
This part of the research will discuss about the critical success factors of Business Process
Management. Prior to the discussion of the CSF s of BPM it is important to point down the factors
that influences success can be classified in to two groups.
The first group consists of the predecessors, which should already exist in the organization, prior to
the implementation of BPM project. The BPM project has only very little influence over the first
group. Example Culture.
The second group consists of the all the other factors (Leadership, Communication, Information
Technology, Methodology, Project Management, and Strategic alignment,) that should be considered
for the implementation of BPM Projects.

Leadership
There are lot of literatures which focuses on the role of leadership in BPM efforts (e.g. Ahadi (2004)
and Sutcliffe (1999)); the role of leadership in BPM process leads to the process driving, monitoring
and controlling. Hammer and Champy (1993) said that the reason for most of the failures in business
process changes is the lack of leadership. They explained a senior management leader should be
effective in eliminating the political issues among the employees in the organization, should be
capable of providing a suitable structure for compensations, solving the conflicts between the
managers and the employees and should lead the IT department in organizations.
The senior management should have high power which lead to effective implementation of BPM
projects.
Leadership is very important in different phases and levels of implementation of BPM projects and
some of its affects in the process have been explained widely in different research.
Leadership in BPM Success context can be classified in to two main sub constructs. They are as

Presidential Rhetoric and Campaign Essay
Presidential Rhetoric and Campaign
Osama bin Laden
Osama bin Laden is a political icon to the people of Afghanistan. He has created a modern day crusade
against western civilization that people support because of his rhetorical ability to create, not only
through speech, but also through his actions, an insightful philosophy that has moved thousands of
people into action against the United States. He was able to achieve this because he chose a religious
path that people supported; he took influential persons in his life and his familial background into his
radical stance on Islamic government and created an historical movement that has affected thousands
of people.

He found that the bond held between the civilians of the U.S. was equivalent to fellowship found in
the Islamic religion, but the bond between the Muslim Brotherhood was something that was more
meaningful to him because of his devotion to his religion. The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamic
organization that s goal is to build the Muslim individual. (http://www.ummah.org.uk/ikhwan/) In
order to do this they reject any other religious affiliations that do not focus on the Quran or Sunna
(http://www.ummah.org.uk/ikhwan/). Because of his connection with the Muslim Brotherhood, many
went on to categorize him as an Islamist. An Islamist is one who views Islam as the total way of life
and desires to have Islamic law implemented in every aspect of life.

Qutb s radical affiliation with this group as well as his Islamist perspectives parallel another one of
Osama bin Laden s major influences, Taqi al Din Ibn Tammiyah.
Taqi al Din Ibn Tammiyah is, in essence, the provoker of intolerance amongst Islamists against any

The dynamics of a female gang member s lifestyle differs from that of a male gang member. When
discussing gangs, one should keep in mind that these groups of individuals are at times a well
organized group with specific positions and rankings. The female s role in most gangs consists of
assisting in and completing violent criminal activities, such as fighting, organization, and love. Due to
the public displayed image of predominately male gang members; female gang members are used for
luring male victims into traps through their sexuality. The recruitment of female gang members is

United States Aggression Against Islam
United States aggression against Islam:
As noted above, the main goal of al Qaeda propaganda is to convince the Muslim world (ummah) that
the West is waging a war on (or conducting a crusade against) Islam. All of the detainees at
Guantanamo are Muslim, many were jailed without any involvement with al Qaeda, the Taliban, or
militant behavior at all, (Fox News) and some abused. (Center for Constitutional Rights) These facts,
manipulated correctly and placed into a certain context, could be used to convince a susceptible
audience that the United States is operating the prison partially to persecute Muslim men, and as an
example of the US targeting Muslims generally.
Al Qaeda uses this imagined war as a rallying cry to convince a small minority in the Muslim world to
join its cause, as well as a justification for its actions casting them as a defensive jihad against the
enemies of the faith. In situations when the faith is attacked, according to Daveed Gartenstein Ross,
each Muslim has an individual obligation to join the battle ... this must be done by all Muslims, and as
Todd Helmus writes, Al Qaeda thus calls Muslims to Islam s defense. (121)
The Canadian Center for Intelligence and Security Studies report explains that, Al Qaeda s propaganda
portrays the current socio political system as one that oppresses and discriminates against Muslims,
who are the victims of an international world order dominated by the West the aggressor and enemy of
Islam. (ITAC

It works beyond food to cue healthy behavioral changes.
This is the most promising creative direction, and the essence of the direction is captured in Wedding
print (R1).
Wedding print (R1) juxtaposes the cardiac event represented by the EMT tapping the Dad with the
ambulance in the background against the Dad/daughter wedding dance. It conveys the tension what
patients have to lose when they experience a CV event. This is the fulcrum idea in Risk is Real.
Unlike Risk is Real TV, Wedding captures what could happen, not what is happening.
The ambulance and the EMT are symbols of an unexpected event and signal a cardiac event what
could be. Yet unlike the dark figure in Escape, it is not the worst possible outcome (death). Instead, the
ambulance and EMT represent the possibility of surviving the CV event.
The idea creates the most dramatic role for Pathnor preventing true loss. Pathnor becomes key in
circumventing risk so that Patients can experience life s rich milestone moments. Living for these
moments is the carrot.
The idea speaks to both people who have had a CV event, who are ASCVD, and those with unsafe
cholesterol levels.
All ideas conveyed the functional therapeutic benefit of Pathnor.
None of the TV ideas in their current incarnations are as strong as Risk is Real Wedding Print (R1),
which is the most powerful idea. It is the one asset that dramatizes what could happen. Using this
tension, it emotionally connects with Patients, creates a role for

Gothic Imagery
The descriptions in Edgar Allan Poe s story The Fall of the House of Usher are visual and can easily
be adapted from words into mental images. Poe employs gothic imagery throughout the entire story
using the narrators descriptions. He incorporates many examples of vivid descriptions but, he also in
detail gives the reader background information. In the opening paragraphs of the story, Poe
communicates to the audience of the Usher family s history, that his very ancient family had been
noted, (7). Their importance to their community is because of their passion towards the arts. The story
focuses on a narrator reuniting with his boyhood friend, Usher, at his mansion due to the crisis of his
dying sister, Madeline. The narrator provides companionship ... Show more content on

It makes the reader picture the house in nothing but sorrow and dullness, feeding into the common
elements of gothic literature. It is very difficult to incorporate the sense of smell into a story but Poe
does this well, which had reeked up from the decayed trees, and the gray wall, and the silent tarn a
pestilent and mystic vapor, dull, sluggish, faintly discernible, and leaden hued (10). As shown above
Poe integrates the five senses through the narrators representation of the house. In like manner, Poe
uses detailed information to delineate foreshadowing. Foreshadowing is used constantly throughout
this story. It is even used in the title The Fall of the House of Usher , due to the crumbling of the house
at the end of the story. Imagery can play a helping hand in intensifying foreshadowing. If one can
exacerbate the visualization an event or setting using detailed descriptions it will be far more easier for
them to recall how events from the beginning of a story relate to events at the end. In this case
imagery and foreshadowing go hand in hand in creating a true gothic literature piece. When using the

Discuss The Effect Of Molarity On The Mass Of Potato Cells
The Effect of Changing a Solution s Molarity on the Mass of Potato Cells Water balance between cells
and their surroundings is crucial to an organism s survival. Each cell has a membrane that protects it
and lets in necessary nutrients. However, not all molecules can pass through the selectively permeable
membrane, so cells engage in a process called osmosis to keep balance. Osmosis is the diffusion of
water molecules across a selectively permeable membrane. Although some water passes through the
membrane, the majority of water flowing in and out of cells is transported through aquaporins.
Aquaporins are proteins that act as channels for water transport through the cell, and can be found in
the cell membranes of many organisms; they can be found anywhere from cells in bacteria to human
cells! The aquaporins allow this rapid transport of water by having hydrophobic residues within them,
which causes water to flow freely through them as there is no attraction. There are several types of
aquaporins, and different types have a different specificity based on their pore size and the amino
acids they are composed of. When a cell is placed in a hypotonic solution, or a solution that has a
solute (something being dissolved) concentration lower than the cell, the water rushes through these
aquaporins and the cell swells up with water to create equilibrium when there are equal concentrations
of molecules across a membrane. On the other hand, when a cell is placed in a hypertonic

Comparing Beowulf And The Epic Of Beowulf
Anglo Saxons refers to settlers from the German regions that migrated to Britain during the fall of the
Roman Empire. In the story Beowulf, his actions portray him, indeed be an epic hero. Both
Christianity and Paganism are both portrayed throughout the epic Beowulf. Beowulf frequently speaks
of God throughout the story, while there are also many Pagan elements that are evident throughout the
story as well. In addition, It s hard to ignore the Christian and Pagan elements in Beowulf. These types
of elements are what define the heroic warrior in the epic Beowulf (Vengeance the Pagan and
Christian Inspiration). Throughout the epic Beowulf, while the Anglo Saxons followed Christianity,
they had a hard time letting go of the Pagan beliefs when things got hard. First, references to the bible
are one way that Anglo Saxons followed Christianity, while they had a hard time letting go of the
Pagan beliefs. One of the first Christian aspects in the story is referring to how God created the earth.
Furthermore, The Almighty created the earth, creating all the beautiful landscapes that is marked off
by the waters, and lighted by the moon and sun (The Monster Grendel from Beowulf Translated by
Burton Raffel the Monster Grendel 1). Furthermore, in this quote the author portrays how the
Almighty created the earth and how he gave life to everything in the world. This quote is reminding us
of the religious aspect of the poem because it is a Christian viewpoint, only about Pagans. In

Final Paper Wrestling is one of the oldest sports in the world. No one is sure who invented the sport
but it was first implemented as a real sport in the first Olympics in the year 776 B.C. The origins of
wrestling can be traced back 15,000 years through cave drawings in France; Babylonian and Egyptian
relief s show wrestlers using most of the holds known to the present day sport. More modern day
wrestling has weight classes implemented so participants will wrestle people that weigh the same as
them, thus starting a trend known in the wrestling world as cutting weight. Weight classes in wrestling

Modified wrestling is the same way, no set weight classes just the roughly the same size. But then
high school wrestling started, there are set weight classes and they are extremely strict on how it need
to be done. In the beginning of each season there is a process that is known as weight certification.
What you have to do for that is pass the hydration test, get your body fat checked and then weigh in.
After all that is done your body fat and weight are put into a formula that checks to see what the
lowest possible weight class you can wrestle is with having a healthy amount of body fat. They
hydration test is extremely important, if you are not hydrated you cannot certify until a later date. You
have to pee in a cup and then the instructor puts the pee into a Refractometer and it measures the
absolute weight of the urine and if it s over 1.025 you pass, anything less you fail and have to retry.
They do this test so kids can t suck ridicules amounts of weight, this makes the sport a little bit more
healthy I suppose. This new certification process was implanted in 2006 to help insure the safety of
the participants (Funk). Every year in high school I wrestled in the 119 weight class. My freshman

Chemistry Of Naoh ( Sodium Hydroxide Solution
EXPERIMENT: 1
AIM: To prepare 100 ml of 0.1M NaOH (Sodium hydroxide) solution.
MATERIALS REQUIRED: NaOH, beaker, distilled water, measuring cylinder, stirrer, weighing
machine, paper.
THEORY: NaOH is an organic compound aka caustic soda. It has Na+ as cationic part and OH− as
anionic part. At ambient ordinary temperature this alkali decomposes protein causing severe burns. It
is highly soluble in water and absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide from air. In many industries pulp
and paper, textiles, drinking water, soaps and detergents are manufactured using NaOH and also used
as a drain cleaner with wide range of applications.
CALCULATION:
Molarity = Number of moles of substance 1 litre of solution
1.1 = w/m 1 litre
= w/40 1 litre w = 4 gm 4 gm for 1000 ml X gm for 100 ml = 0.4 gm
PROCEDURE: Weigh 0.4 gm of NaOH using weighing machine. Add 100ml of distilled water to the
beaker. Add NaOH to it and stir it using the stirrer.

Aethelred The Unready Research Paper
According to Campbell, the decline of the Anglo Saxon estate followed the death of King Edgar.
Aethelred, otherwise known as Aethelred the Unready began his disastrous 37 year long reign in 979
(Campbell,193). The new viking invaders were very different than the last because of their ties to the
Danish royal government and were considered the most formidable enemy [Aethelred] had
encountered (Campbell,194).The vikings obtained success over England through rest, shelter, and
supplies in Normandy but, Aethelred sought to destroy those advantages through a treaty with the
duke of Normandy in 991. Although at the time the treaty was a good idea it did come with later
consequences. In 991 the Battle of Maldon took place in which the Anglo Saxons

war history, he was a catalyst in allowing Americans to be part of history from the first walk on the

It was only a matter of time before mighty US imperialism was humiliatingly forced to withdraw. The
Tet Offensive took Americans by surprise, the major objectives had been to drive a wedge between the
Americans and the South Vietnamese. The attack on the US embassy was an attempt to show the
vulnerability of the American armed forces. The Vietcong had hoped that the Tet Offensive action and
the liberation of towns and cities would lead to an uprising against the US their belief was the South

discontented layers of South Vietnamese society were ready to join the struggle. But unfortunately this
was not the case and the Vietcong had sporadic recruitment from this campaign. The Tet Offensive
also aided in changing the view and minds of the American people as this was the same time, live
televised coverage of the war was a harsh reality to so many Americans which had changed their
views on the Vietnam War. President Johnson became increasingly unpopular to the point he had
chosen not to seek re election during the following Presidential campaign. The Tet Offensive was the

London Dockland Case Study
For places both rural and urban to maintain development and a strong economy they must rebrand. To
keep with the times so to speak place must continue to redevelop in a number of ways. Both areas are
at risk of becoming derelict and poverty struck if they don t regenerate.
One of the main causes of decline is a lack of employment. In many areas with one ruling industry
when the industry collapses the town is left with high levels of unemployment. As countries continue
to develop their primary and secondary sectors shrink as it becomes cheaper for TNC s to outsource
work to other cheaper countries. This among other reasons can leave towns and cities in decline as
there are no longer jobs available and people have to move away for work or stay unemployed which
has bad economic effects.
An example of this happening in an urban area is the London Docklands. In the 19th century it was
the busiest port in the world however by the 1960 s bigger boats were being used and the docks weren
t deep enough for this. The docks were closed leaving lots of derelict land, few jobs and lots of social
problems. However the docklands were successfully rebranded with the introduction of the LDDC. In
1981, the London Docklands Development Corporation set about regenerating London Docklands ...

The decline in agriculture in the UK has reduced employment and caused economic problems in rural
areas. The lack of job opportunities results in out migration of young people, resulting in an ageing

break this. Attracting new business and tourists through rebranding will increase employment and
services. This will then encourage young people to stay in the area, and new people to move to the
area. In rural areas for the most part there won t be any flagship projects and community projects and

Rita Hayworth And The Shawshank Redemption Analysis
In the novella Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King, banker Andy
Dufresne is wrongfully convicted of murder and sent to Shawshank Prison. Andy s shrewd nature and
sense of self worth become valuable tools that allow him to thrive in prison under the harsh authority
of the warden, Samuel Norton. King uses Norton to demonstrate that corruption is present throughout
society and that the perception of good and evil can be altered depending on who presents a story.
King uses the characterization of Norton to argue that corruption has permeated all classes of society.
Norton is a practicing Christian. Christians typically believe that one must be pious to get into heaven,
and that it is important to help sinners repent so they can also go to heaven. Norton gives every inmate
a Bible and has a sampler on the wall that says His Judgement Cometh and That Right Early , showing
he is aware of this tenet. However, he also runs a corrupt business profiting off the prison s Inside Out
program. He doesn t pay the inmates for their labor, cuts corners on supplies, and accepts bribes. Red
explains: [Norton] was the foulest hypocrite that I ever saw in a high position... he of the Testaments
and the thirty year church pin, was passed a good many thick envelopes under the table (57). Prisons
are supposed to house criminals and prevent the perversion of society but Norton is a free man,
implying that corruption is visible throughout all of society, even in high

Academic Freedom
Academic freedom in Kenya
Freedom is a basic to education in modern democracies. Freedom in education can be categorized in
the various aspects such as; Freedom of the child, academic freedom and freedom to read. Mc Garry
and Ward, (1966) puts it: A free society and a free world imply a free educational system and a
freedom within the framework of maximum control. In such a closed society they maintained,
freedom in education may consist of ability to say or do in consequential things. The legal idea of
academic freedom originated in Germany in 1850. The Prussian Constitution declared that science and
its teaching shall be free. In Germany, academic freedom is known as the right of faculty to teach on
any subject, that was freedom of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It also guides students in applying or various courses that will lead them to different career choices.
This was adopted by the United Nations (U.N) assembly is resolution 44/25 on the 20th November
1989. Talks of Freedom of Expression of opinion and views in Art 12 states that; every child who is
capable of forming views and opinion has a right to express them freely; in all matters that affects
them. In article number 13 on Freedom of Expression says that the child shall have a right to freedom
of expression in terms of: Freedom to seek, Freedom to receive and Freedom to impart information
and ideas of all kinds either orally or in writing in art and music. But the exercise of these rights must
respect the rights and limitations of others and must respect the country s laws and morals.
Academic freedom consists in protecting the intellectual independence of professors, researchers and
students in the pursuit of knowledge and the expression of ideas from interference by legislators or
authorities within the institution itself. This implies that no political, ideological or religious
orthodoxy will be imposed on professors and researchers through the hiring or tenure or termination
process, or though any other administrative means by the academic institution. Nor shall legislatures
impose any such orthodoxy through their control or the university budget. This protection includes
students.

Dallas Cowboys Fandom Discourse Community
Joining into a fandom discourse community has more extravagant depth than the simplistic claiming a
team and representing them solely on game night. Authentic members develop deep emotional
investment into the events that circulate around their team. Whether it be voluntary or unknowingly,
these passionate individuals over any given subject or matter often find themselves surrounded with or
acquainted with those of similar connotation. This is how discourse communities are developed,
through this unification of individuals over common interests. As a Cowboys fan myself i ve had the
experience of being shoulder to shoulder next to a stranger sharing excitement and roaring with joy as
if we ve known one another our whole lives. The bonds you can make through this discourse
community is what gives it importance. The Dallas Cowboys NFL football team are a prime example
of a fandom discourse community. They aren t solely influencing people in the Dallas,Texas area but
fans are extended all around the U.S. As a member of a fandom discourse community, it is more than
just cheering for the team passionately, it involves knowing the team and showing that you are an
authentic fan. To receive the credibility and status of a fan you must do more than simply go out and
purchase the gear while the team is performing at a prosperous rate. It s deeper than those adorned in
the jersey of the current most popular team. It s about loyalty, it s about the history, and hoping for a

Fahrenheit 451 By Ray Bradbury
People of all ages suffer from the negative effects of long term exposure to technology. As technology
continues to evolve, the human brain struggles to keep up, and ultimately loses a multitude of once
valued abilities, such as the ability to focus, and deep intellectual thinking. People grow severely
attached to these new artificial intelligence, that they forget there are other real people whom they can
communicate with and share thoughts with. As Fahrenheit 451 has illustrated, our society has evolved
to interact with technology on a more personal level, change the way humans interact with one
another, shift the way political subjects are dealt with, and change what the roles of certain people in a
community are and how those communities function.
The society portrayed in Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, puts the near future into words for the
readers of today to visualize the harsh changes the world will suffer. The communities in the story
consist of ignorant, and hollow people. These people live their lives without ever truly living. The
technology surrounding them allows for no time to relax, think, and communicate personally with
others. A fireman named Guy Montag realizes what kind of society he lives in after taking time to
listen to his vibrant 17 year old neighbor, Clarisse McClellan, talk about a past as bright and optimistic
as her. Questions begin to unfold as he digests the information given to him by Clarisse. For one thing,

Pricing The Bond Option Of Vasicek And Cir Models
Pricing the Bond option in Vasicek and CIR models
Name: Huajun Liu
Professor: Marco Pereira
Course: Math 624
Date: 2016/12/18
1. Abstract
This report is aimed to describe how we will use Python to build an application to price risky bond
and the European options of the bond in stochastic hazard rate and interest rate models. We are going
to simulate the path of interest rate using CIR model and simulate the path of hazard rate using
Vasicek model. Then we will get the survival function from simulated hazard rate and get the bond
price from it. Lastly we will price the European options of the risky bond based on the simulated bond
price by using both closed form formula (Jamshidian, F. (1989)) and Monte Carlo simulation.
2. Introduction
Today, an increasing number of risky bond options have been introduced to customers, but only a few
customers can understand how to price a risky bond option. The credit derivative is a new type of
financial derivative which is based on the credit condition of the loan developed in the 1990s, and its
function is to separate the credit risk from other risks of the primary assets and transfer it to the
counterparty. Also, credit derivatives can make credit risk appear in a more fluid and tradable form,
which has a great application in improving the portfolio of returns and presenting a highly structured
risk portfolio. Meanwhile, credit derivatives can be used in the investment market Avoid risks, and
thus mobilize the credit market activity.

`` Animal Liberation `` By Richard Ryder
To start with, The term Animal Rights did not emerge until the late 1970 s, according to Encyclopedia
Britannica. In Particular, Richard Ryder, a British Psychologist, expressed his boldest ideas, but in
order to get his word out around the world he needed assistance from one of the top Australian
philosophers, Peter Singer. Singer published numerous of notable books such as Animal liberation
which described in vivid detail, the grueling agony animals had to suffer. In fact, Pete Singer got his
inspiration for his book Animal liberation from his view on utilitarianism, the belief that a morally
good action is one that helps the greatest number of people and animals. Indeed, the phrase Animal

Miss Black USA Talks about Pageantry and Being a Black Ballerina Photo Credit: Go Fund Me
Daphne Lee, who won the national Miss Black USA this year is also a ballerina. She wears her natural
curly hair with proud and is very determined to squash the stereotype when it comes to the black
female body. This beauty queen and ballerina confidently identifies herself as an Afro Latina.
As a ballerina, she is constantly exposed to the criticisms of targeting the black woman s body. More
than half a century ago, Raven Wilkinson became one of the very first African American ballerinas
who worked for a prominent ballet company. However, she danced under the premise that she must
paint her face as a white woman. Meanwhile, Lauran Anderson broke barriers when she became one
of the first female principal dancers in a U.S. ballet company. ... Show more content on

Aside from being a beauty queen and a ballerina, Lee is also an outspoken activist. She raves how the
Miss Black USA pageant helps serve women of color by helping them achieve their education and
academic goals.
The real reason many women join pageants is not really because they want to achieve a beauty status
but it is actually to gain money for scholarship. Most are trying to finish college while others are
pursuing a master s degree. Joining a pageant can help them achieve that.
Lee feels that beauty pageants helps empower women and they do not exploit women as others paint
the contests to be. She thinks that people perceive pageant contestants in a negative way because they
don t know the real story behind it.
The media and the show producers do tend to glamorize and sensationalize the event. However, when
you break it down, it s actually an interview contest where the judges needs to see if you are in fact the
right woman to do the job. The organization is looking for someone to represent

My Christmas And Christmas
I woke up to a raging fire on my farm and my Papa gone, and I realized things were about to change. I
had all the things I wanted, and I never was grateful for these things. But when my Papa died and all
of our riches were taken, we were forced into Mexican working camps. Now we were poor and had
almost nothing. All those things were taken away from me. I have come to appreciate everything I
have. I thought I would have riches forever, but now I realized that you shouldn t take things for
granted, and be grateful for the things you have.
I lived in a beautiful farm in Mexico with my Mama and Papa. Everything was perfect. I would walk
through the red rose bushes with my Papa. He would teach me to lay down in the fields, and listen for
the heartbeat of the earth. We would hear the Bump bump of the Earth. The dirt was rough on our
faces and we could feel a soft breeze. We had servants that would do everything for us. I never had to
do anything for myself. We had riches and I had everything I wanted, and I never thought that would
change. I was getting ready for my 13th birthday. I would have a great party. It was grape harvesting
time, so the servants were harvesting grapes. The grape rows looked like evenly spaced purple
streams. Everyone is setting up for my 13th birthday party and Papa should be home soon. There
would be delicious food, and dancing. All my friends would be there and I would have lots of
beautiful presents. And, as expected, a doll from Papa.

The Bystander Effect In Chronicle Of A Death Foretold
The bystander effect, is a social psychological phenomenon that refers to cases in which individuals
do not offer any means of help to a victim when other people are present (Weiten). Such reactions
usually occur when individuals do not want to risk getting involved in the situation. In Chronicles of a
Death Foretold, even though the townspeople do not desire the murder of Santiago Nasar, their
unwillingness or lack of courage to take action in preventing this foretold murder consequently allows
for the murder to happen. The idea of disturbing the status quo and risk of involvement overshadows
the Sucré citizens moral values. Even though a scale of individual willingness to avert the crime is

  • 2. Report On Control Testing Results Essay Control Testing Results (Slides 4 8) (CAP Slides 81 102) Overall Comments  DLA s control testing results does not identify a time period for when the controls were assessed.  The document does not identify which controls were assessed for the various assessable units.  Work products for the assessable units (referenced below) will be provided to FIAR the week of 9/28/15 with Group 8 document submission.  Although the control failures are similar to what we ve seen in previous SBA and Inventory assertion packages, we are unable to specifically identify the controls that were assessed by DLA.  There were a total number of 80 key controls for the FRR assessable units (Trial Balance Management/ Invoice to Disbursement/ Billing to Collections) 56 of which were tested to date. FIAR will need to determine if the controls were unique to each assessable unit and when DLA plans to test the 24 remaining controls.  It appears that assessable unit, Inventory Transaction Reporting, was formerly titled, P2S_PCM13=NEIQ Perform Inventory Management IRM. If in fact the process was renamed during the PCM consolidation process, there were several process and control gaps identified within the former PCM. FIAR needs to determine if the gaps, previously identified, are being remediated by the agency and tracked by CAP documentation. • 3. Resurrection Of Jesus I believe that within the Gospels in the Bible we are able to find a deeper understanding of God s unbelievable love for us as it discloses God s true purpose for Jesus life, which is so much more than just showing us how to be good people. Jesus came to strengthen his understanding. Bruce Bickel and Stan Jantz said I Knowing the Bible 101: A Guide to God s Word in Plain Language that As a man, Christ knew the struggles that we face in our daily lives. He was not immune to temptation, pain, and sorrow. (p. 220) This was so that God could carry out his plan to save us, which Bickle and Jantz described like this Luke includes this quote of Jesus, which gives the best statement of His purpose: And I, the Son of Man, have come to seek and save those like him who are lost. (Luke 19:10). (p. 221) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I did not know that his ministry had only been done in a 3 year time span, which I find absolutely astounding. What he was able to accomplish in just 3 years and the legacy he left behind after his death is a miracle in itself really, when you look at the means for communication at that time. I also see his resurrection in a new light after the reading this week, because I knew that it was God s plan, but I never really looked at it as an act of service like described by Bickel and Jantz Mark emphasizes Christ s ultimate act of servanthood with the crucifixion. Reading that opened my eyes, because though I knew he was crucified to save us, which is an act of service, I never viewed it as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Diversity As A Common And Ordinary Individual Everyone is told at some point in their life that it is okay to be different, and should not be ashamed of who they are. They are told that being unique should be encouraged and that they should not hide from it. For this reason, diversity is exceptional. But what happens when excessive diversity divides citizens, causing contentions? Who then can decide what diversity is and whether it is convenient, especially after it may have caused a war? Entirely for this instance, diversity only matters to an extent. It is fair enough to be different, but over emphasizing diversity can divide communities, citizens, and students rather than unify them. There should be a balance between diversity and uniformity, and one should not overpower another. In essence, a common and ordinary individual should have the freedom to decide what diversity is and whether he or she wishes to exercise it or not. Children, teens, and adults are constantly being told that diversity should be promoted, usually by teachers, leaders, parents, and other acquaintances. Especially in the 21st century where being different is progressively becoming acceptable, it seems as if people expect, or pressure them to differentiate themselves among others. Be different, because everyone hates the same, boring person, has become a threatening phrase to those who only want to be themselves, but can t because they fear of being that same, boring person. Instead of convincing others to be different and unique, it would ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Chilean Human Rights Violations Had An Undoubted... The case about Chilean human rights violations had an undoubted international significance. Its highest point came with the arrest of General Pinochet in London in 1998, at the request of arrest warrant and subsequent processing issued by Judge Garzón. The detention lasted for 503 days; nearly a year and a half that gave rise to several judicial and political actions and reactions that serve as the basis of understanding of the topic of the essay. On the one hand, the debate on universal jurisdiction and protection of human rights was intensified both internationally and domestically. On the other hand, different attitudes become evident within Spain: were actors like Castresana, Garzón and Garcés who pushed and pressured for the process (largely motivated by the various associations of victims), while the Prosecutor and the Government showed a somewhat reluctant and even contrary position to it. Without going into further details about British courts decisions, it suffices to recall that the House of Lords Committee finally decided that Pinochet had no criminal immunity and that his extradition was possible . Nonetheless, a political decision based on humanitarian grounds freed Pinochet, who returned to Chile when some legal proceedings had already initiated to investigate human rights violations occurred during both the coup and Pinochet s mandate, and he was finally put into trial. Once again, external pressures were significant factors when promoting domestic ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Elizabeth Gaskell s North And South In Elizabeth Gaskell s North and South, the simmering tension between the striking mill workers of Milton and their employer John Thornton come to a head in Chapter 22 A Blow and its Consequences . The millhands, enraged at Thornton s hiring of Irish workers while they are on strike, descend in a mob upon Thornton s mill and home. This chapter is also pivotal in the relationship between Thornton and the novel s principal character Margaret Hale. In the novel, Gaskell parallels the conflict between Thornton and his workers with the conflict between Thornton and Margaret. Both relationships erupt in this chapter leading to consequences throughout the rest of the novel. Gaskell establishes the tension in this chapter by using imagery and ... While it may be partly because she has risked her respectable reputation in her attempt to protect Thornton, her desire not to think of the overheard conversation, as well as her cringing from Jane shrinking from her inspection (p218) suggests her motive for her action may have something to do with burgeoning romantic feelings for Thornton that she is unable to ... Therefore the decision with the highest predicted payoff would be to choose the batch flow and to produce 15,000 items. Question 2: Sensitivity Analysis In order to get a better understanding of what the key inputs or most sensitive input variables were, a sensitivity analysis was conducted on all of the inputs involved in this case. For the sensitivity analysis an arbitrary number of 25% was chosen to vary the inputs in order to analyze their effects on the EMV. For the sake of clarity and simplicity we then decided to focus on several of the main inputs (and combinations of these inputs) that had the greatest effect on the EMV or were deemed necessary for analysis. These were: * Sales Price * Quantity of High or low Demand * Probability of High Demand * Outsource Cost * Clearance Cost As we can see from the tornado graph [Figures D E] the EMV of the decision tree was most sensitive to the variations in the sales price of the avalanche racer. An increase/decrease of 25% of the sales price of the Avalanche Racer led to an approximate increase/decrease of the EMV by 90% which is statistically significant. This was further supported by the spider graph [Figure F], in which the sales price was also shown as having the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Chris McCandless is NOT a Hero in the Book, Into the Wild... Many people have read the story Into the Wild By Jon Krakauer, when mentioning the name Chris McCandless he is either viewed as hero or as a dumb man. The people who view him as a hero tend to believe that he was determined enough to want to do something. Others view him as an idiot who just wanted attention. Him being unprepared and not knowing much about how to survive in the wild made McCandless an idiot, the dumb jerk. Also causing him to be a poor role model to multiple people causing them to end up in dangerous situations that could be threatening to their lives. Having the right supplies for hiking or in Chris s case going out to live in the wild is critical. Chris was lacking in this category. When Chris was found a few weeks later in the woods it was evident that he didn t have the food supply he needed to survive. Matthew Power from Men s Journal The Magazine, brings up the point that Chris only brought a few things with him, Setting off with little more than a twenty two caliber rifle and a ten pound bag of rice, McCandless hoped to find his true self by renouncing society and living off the land. Chris later proved that even if you intend to live off the land if you are not used to it and living that way it is going to be extremely hard and may even result in death. Chris was on a death mission weather he realized it or not. He went into the wild and is now causing people to unintentionally cause self harm to themselves. Peter Christian added, Some like ... • 10. Social Media And Organizational Psychology At Harvard... Many teachers, professors, and businesses are using group work thinking it will help reduce the amount of work each person will have to contribute. The truth behind this is that the majority of the work usually gets put on one person entirely. Opinions from other members of the group interfere with the success of the group as well. In recent years, some research has been done on finding out just how much better is group work than solo work. The findings might come as a surprise to you. J. Richard Hackman, the Edgar Pierce Professor of Social Media and Organizational Psychology at Harvard University has ran a few experimental groups to find out the answer. Even though many people will say that group work will bring people together; factors such as group thinking, opinion and larger groups can make for a failing group. Are Opinions Good For Working In Groups? One of the problems with group work is that some of the members may have different views. People believe that with group work there will be more ideas being contributed to the task at hand. The issue with having more people in the group is that they all have different opinions. This factor here can be the cause for conflict throughout the group. According to J. Richard Hackman, the Edgar Pierce Professor of Social and Organizational Psychology at Harvard University, the main problem with group work is coordination and motivation typically chip away at the benefits of collaboration. • 11. Analysis Of The Film Green Lantern As one can imagine, being trapped out in the ocean, hundreds of feet from any kind of safety while an enormous shark is circling you, has to be the most frightening experience one can endure. Nancy, a young medical student ventures out to a secluded beach in Mexico to enjoy some time surfing, but little does she know how close to death she will come. The suspense that builds up as Nancy struggles to escape her predator throughout the film is what keeps the viewers on their toes, as the entire movie revolves around her plan to make it back to shore. This being the plot, can seem dull and uninteresting at first, but as the film progresses, it s hard to take your eyes off the screen. The acting of Blake Lively, who plays Nancy, helps to make the film even better, as many people know her from her other acting rolls, such as Sarena van der Woodsen from the hit television show Gossip Girl and Carol Ferris from the film Green Lantern . The director of the film, Jaume Collet Serra, is known for creating movies with an extensive amount of suspense. He is able to get an incredible performance from actors, as well as understand all of the scenes from the perspective of the viewers, thus giving him the ability to know exactly what needs to take place to keep the film interesting. Because Blake Lively is in every scene, it is obvious that the film is customized to her and her acting skills. • 15. United States Aggression Against Islam United States aggression against Islam: As noted above, the main goal of al Qaeda propaganda is to convince the Muslim world (ummah) that the West is waging a war on (or conducting a crusade against) Islam. All of the detainees at Guantanamo are Muslim, many were jailed without any involvement with al Qaeda, the Taliban, or militant behavior at all, (Fox News) and some abused. (Center for Constitutional Rights) These facts, manipulated correctly and placed into a certain context, could be used to convince a susceptible audience that the United States is operating the prison partially to persecute Muslim men, and as an example of the US targeting Muslims generally. Al Qaeda uses this imagined war as a rallying cry to convince a small minority in the Muslim world to join its cause, as well as a justification for its actions casting them as a defensive jihad against the enemies of the faith. In situations when the faith is attacked, according to Daveed Gartenstein Ross, each Muslim has an individual obligation to join the battle ... this must be done by all Muslims, and as Todd Helmus writes, Al Qaeda thus calls Muslims to Islam s defense. • 18. Discuss The Effect Of Molarity On The Mass Of Potato Cells The Effect of Changing a Solution s Molarity on the Mass of Potato Cells Water balance between cells and their surroundings is crucial to an organism s survival. Each cell has a membrane that protects it and lets in necessary nutrients. However, not all molecules can pass through the selectively permeable membrane, so cells engage in a process called osmosis to keep balance. Osmosis is the diffusion of water molecules across a selectively permeable membrane. Although some water passes through the membrane, the majority of water flowing in and out of cells is transported through aquaporins. Aquaporins are proteins that act as channels for water transport through the cell, and can be found in the cell membranes of many organisms; they can be found anywhere from cells in bacteria to human cells! The aquaporins allow this rapid transport of water by having hydrophobic residues within them, which causes water to flow freely through them as there is no attraction. There are several types of aquaporins, and different types have a different specificity based on their pore size and the amino acids they are composed of. When a cell is placed in a hypotonic solution, or a solution that has a solute (something being dissolved) concentration lower than the cell, the water rushes through these aquaporins and the cell swells up with water to create equilibrium when there are equal concentrations of molecules across a membrane. On the other hand, when a cell is placed in a hypertonic ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

To keep with the times so to speak place must continue to redevelop in a number of ways. Both areas are at risk of becoming derelict and poverty struck if they don t regenerate. Abstract This report is aimed to describe how we will use Python to build an application to price risky bond and the European options of the bond in stochastic hazard rate and interest rate models. We are going to simulate the path of interest rate using CIR model and simulate the path of hazard rate using Vasicek model. Then we will get the survival function from simulated hazard rate and get the bond price from it. Lastly we will price the European options of the risky bond based on the simulated bond price by using both closed form formula (Jamshidian, F. (1989)) and Monte Carlo simulation. 2. She wears her natural curly hair with proud and is very determined to squash the stereotype when it comes to the black female body. Aside from being a beauty queen and a ballerina, Lee is also an outspoken activist. She raves how the Miss Black USA pageant helps serve women of color by helping them achieve their education and academic goals. The real reason many women join pageants is not really because they want to achieve a beauty status but it is actually to gain money for scholarship. Most are trying to finish college while others are pursuing a master s degree. Joining a pageant can help them achieve that. Lee feels that beauty pageants helps empower women and they do not exploit women as others paint the contests to be. She thinks that people perceive pageant contestants in a negative way because they don t know the real story behind it. The media and the show producers do tend to glamorize and sensationalize the event. However, when you break it down, it s actually an interview contest where the judges needs to see if you are in fact the right woman to do the job. • 34. My Christmas And Christmas I woke up to a raging fire on my farm and my Papa gone, and I realized things were about to change. I had all the things I wanted, and I never was grateful for these things. But when my Papa died and all of our riches were taken, we were forced into Mexican working camps. Now we were poor and had almost nothing. All those things were taken away from me. I have come to appreciate everything I have. I thought I would have riches forever, but now I realized that you shouldn t take things for granted, and be grateful for the things you have. I lived in a beautiful farm in Mexico with my Mama and Papa. Everything was perfect. I would walk through the red rose bushes with my Papa. He would teach me to lay down in the fields, and listen for the heartbeat of the earth. We would hear the Bump bump of the Earth. The dirt was rough on our faces and we could feel a soft breeze. We had servants that would do everything for us. I never had to do anything for myself. We had riches and I had everything I wanted, and I never thought that would change. I was getting ready for my 13th birthday. I would have a great party. It was grape harvesting time, so the servants were harvesting grapes. The grape rows looked like evenly spaced purple streams. Everyone is setting up for my 13th birthday party and Papa should be home soon. There would be delicious food, and dancing. All my friends would be there and I would have lots of beautiful presents. And, as expected, a doll from Papa. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Such reactions usually occur when individuals do not want to risk getting involved in the situation. In Chronicles of a Death Foretold, even though the townspeople do not desire the murder of Santiago Nasar, their unwillingness or lack of courage to take action in preventing this foretold murder consequently allows for the murder to happen.
