HABIT 7: Sharpen to Saw
4. Think win-win is not:
Think win-lose : attitude wear
many face like using others for your own
selfish, get ahead of others, putting
someone down to build up yourself, and
becoming jealous and envious with
others.
Is the foundation for getting along well with other people, and it is the attitude toward life, a
mental frame of mind that says I can win, and so can you. It begins with the believe that
we are all equal, that no one is inferior or superior to anyone else, and no one really needs
to be.
5. Think lost-lost:
it mean that if I’m
going to down, then
you’re going down
with me.
Think lose-win:
is weak. It’s easy to
get stepped on, be a
nice guy, being a
peaceful maker.
6. HOW TO THINK WIN-WIN
Win the private victory first is start from you.
Avoid the tumor twins
Competition becomes dark when you tie
yourself-worth into winning to place
yourself above others.
Comparing is yourself against your own
potential.

WIN SPIRIT

your heart with happy and
serene thoughts. It will give

BU
T
You can show you are care by simply taking
time to listen without judging and without
giving advice.
9. - Spacing out is
when someone is
talking to us but we
ignore them because
our mind is
wandering off in
another galaxy.
- Pretend listing is
when we aren’t paying
attention to the other
person, but at least we
pretend.
- Selective listening
is where we pay
attention only to the part
of the conventions that
interests us.
10. - Word listening
is when we listen only
to the words, not to the
body language, the
feeling, or the true
meaning behind the
words.
- Self-centered listening happens when we see
everything from our own point of view by judging, advising,
probing instead of listen to the real reason.
11. Genuine listening
- First, listen
with your eyes,
heart, and ears.
- Second, stand in
their shoes. (You must
try to see the world as
they see it and try to
feel as they feel.)
Third, practice
mirroring. (Mirroring
doesn’t judge, advice,
but it reflects.
12. Genuine listing in action
- First: you’ll gain a greater respect for them.
- Second: they’ll be much more willing to listen to you.

their point of view.
13. REQUIRES COURAGE BY GIVING FEEDBACK.
Keep these two point in mind as you as you
feedback.
- First, ask yourself “will this feedback really help
this person or am I doing it just to suit myself and
fix them?”
- Second, send “I” messages instead of “you”.
14. Synergy is achieved when two or
more people work together to create a
better solution than either could alone. It’s
not your way or my way but a better way,
a higher way.
Alone we can do so little: together we can do so much.
