Research
• It was helpful to know how these types of magazines are laid out and the
structure they use , they all have similar features in a similar order, this
helped when I came to make my product to know the placement of the
masthead and the articles to fit with the genre and the layout of the other
magazines. I could have furthered my research a lot more If I had gone to
find hard copies to see what its like inside the magazine
Planning
• It was helpful to try out different fonts and colours to know what different
combinations work and what doesn’t , similarly it helped a great deal
laying out how I would like to do things in my finished piece, where things
will go and how they blend together, weather it works well or needs to be
rearranged and put in a different order or completely change some of
them

• My time management is terrible, I didn’t
