Reflection of preliminary task

2) They learned that filming during school hours without other students present worked best and that ensuring continuity of costumes between shots was important. Organizing actors and dealing with errors took time.
3) Through the editing process, the student learned how to upload footage, organize clips, trim clips, adjust audio and video, and export the final video, making editing an easier and more important skill for future tasks.
Technology
The film differed from the original storyboard due to additional shots needed from the location and timing. Equipment limitations like a small room size required closer shots. The corkboard props looked artificial and lighting inconsistencies caused by different shots in the bedroom. Some shots dragged on too long so were cut. Special effects like fading and slow motion were added to transitions to improve the flow. Steadying shots while panning and difficulties credit formatting in Premiere presented challenges overcome through multiple takes and font size adjustments.
Looking back at my preliminary task
The preliminary task showed much room for improvement in areas like video quality, camera work, shot variety, editing, and atmosphere. This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

- 2. Process This is the exacts same shot but 2is edited and 1 is the first take of the shot. What I added in is widescreen bars to give a movie effect then turned up the brightness so the viewer could actually see the killer in his clothing instead of jut the mask. 1 2
- 3. Process Example one was a sudden cut from two shots that looked really clunky and badly edited. This is why I added in the 2nd clip to make it much smoother transition. 1 2
- 4. Process • My plan was to extend the cut from the experiment so I added in an extra scene that really focused on darkness being a terrifying thing. We did this by flickering an LED light into a dark room towards the killer creating a broken light effect.
- 5. Process Picture 1 shows the experiment edited clip while 2 shows the final product. The deference's are the how long each of the pieces are and the captions and the music and sound link in instead of collide. 1 2
- 6. Process In the final product I added in widescreen bars to five a movie trailer/ theatre effect. That I seen throughout all of the clip/ film this was added in by cropping the top 10% and the bottom 10% of each clip.
- 7. Process This is my sound design and what I used. For this I used un copyrighted horror music then added in some sound effects to make tense horrific moments making even scarier due to the sudden music and drop change to the themes. These had to be placed in the right spot so it didn’t sound wrong or sloppy so it fits in really well with what's shown on screen.
