List of some VTC for PWD in Myanmar

• Adult Disability School (for persons with physical disability)
• Mary Chapman School for the deaf (for hearing impaired persons)
• Japan Heart (for visual impaired persons)
• Some Special Schools for children with disabilities (for persons with intellectual disability)
• Some DPO and NGO open VTC for PWD (Yangon/ Outside Yangon)
• Limited VTCs/ Employment support/ social skills development program for persons with
disabilities.
• PWD can work like others if they have access to these supports.
Mainstreaming PWD in every VTC is also important.

6. Conclusion
• It is very good that Business and
DPO, NGO cooperate with each
other. There will be benefits for
both sides.
• Government role is also important.
Now Myanmar government is
working for the rights of PWDs.
