Community Integrated EMPLOYMENT [CIE]: Train the Trainer:
Course Requirements for Vocational Trainers
Certified Training: Community Integrated EMPLOYMENT: Train-The-Trainer course is a Center
for Credentialing & Education {CCE} Approved Board Certified
Coach (BCC) ™ training provider. This course is approved as a [30] hour BCC training course.
Course Objectives
Maximizing capacity to successfully implement the CIE services with positive
outcomes.
Performing instructional strategies that demonstrate culture competence,
knowledge of supports and resources beneficial for young adults to learn
and adapt prevocational skills for job search activities.
Leading groups mindful of ethics, self-determined skills and an ability to build trust
and respect in developing rapport in an inclusive work environment.
Course Requirements
Assignments to complete in preparation for the final exam:
TOPIC #1: Effectiveness in Cultural Competence
TOPIC #2: Knowledge of Youth in Transition (Pre-Employment Services)
TOPIC #3: Strategies for Assisting Transition Youth w/ Learning Disabilities
TOPIC #4: Knowledge of Instructional factors related to prevocational Skills
TOPIC #5: Performance Requirements in Task Type Group Work
TOPIC #6: Understanding Inclusive Service Descriptions and Disclosure Guidelines
A quiz for each assignment follows each topic. A 10-minute VIDEO (Demo D): Offers
Instructions for Assignment #6. These activities are listed on the course Map.
VIDEO A: Demo for Group Intro: Video A provides an example of to open the first day of
group activities in a 5-minute demonstration which includes all posters, agendas and other
media involved. The Intro video is one of two options worth extra credit points. These two
options include: OPTION 1: Introduction Video and OPTION 2: Instruct a skill.
Opportunity for Extra Credit
If you select Option 1, a trainee can earns up to 10 extra credit points toward the final exam.
If you choose Option 2, a trainee can earn up to 5 extra credits points toward the final exam.
Trainees interested in submitting one of the extra credit optional videos, must follow the
instructions to send in this video before entering the last activity in: Session 6. No extra
credit if the video is not turned in on time.

2. Trainees must meet the criteria to pass quizzes and the final exam (50 questions) with an
overall score of: 70%. All of course elements to earn 30-hours for this training need to be
completed within the 30-day period from the date of registration. The course ends for each
trainee on the 30th day from the start date of registration. Trainers can-not re-enter the
training after the 30-day training limit.
The four video demonstrations are designed to prepare trainees to manage services which
include: 1) Information on selecting and interpreting results with assessments used within the
CIE group activities. This includes attention to the BCC Code of Ethics and 2)respect for
understanding compliance with local, Federal and State Laws governing individuals with
disabilities.
Target Audience:
Vocational trainers and/or youth service providers are required to complete the pre-
approval criteria to be allowed to register for this course. Trainees who pass the
Train-the-Trainer course (minimum, 70%) earn a 30-hour certificate which only
applies 30-hours toward an initial BCC Certification. Please refer to the resource
listed on the next page for information about the comprehensive BCC Coach
Training Program. Also, other qualifications are required to qualify to provide
vocational services based on State and local agency policies. Candidates must meet
specific requirement to become qualified to provide services to support young adults with
significant barriers to employment.
Course Format:
Course Format: self-study, on-line lessons to be completed within 30-days from date
of course registration
Price: Regular $ $449.00. Special pricing is adjusted for select groups.
Training Hours: 30-hours.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received prior to the start of the course are entitled to a
full refund. All cancellations made after this time frame will forfeit the full course fee. As a
result, once learner’s logs into the on-line course for the first time, their fees become non-
refundable.
Refund Policy for Seminars or Face-to-Face Trainings: A full refund is provided for written
cancellations received by Community Integrated EMPLOYMENT, Nonprofit at least 30 days
prior to the seminar or training conferences. Written cancellations received between 30 and 29
days prior to thecommencement of the seminar, workshop, or Face-to-Face training
conferencewill be refunded at seventy-five percent (75%). Written cancellations received
between 10 and 28 days before the start of a seminar, workshop, or conference,will be
refunded at 50 percent (50%). There is no refund for cancellations ten days or less business
days before a workshop.

3. Qualifications: You qualify for a 30-hour CCE-approved
Certification program if you meet one of thefollowing criterion:
You are a National Certified Counselor [NBCC]
You have a full professional counselor license, e.g. LCPC, LCP,
LPCC, LMHC,
You have a Master's or Ph.D. in Counseling,
You have a Doctorate in a social or behavioral science,
You have a 4-year degree with 2500 hours of post-degree
coaching experienceover a period of five years and One
professional endorsement.
*Automatically accepted fields are business, management, social work, marriage andfamily
therapy, psychology, medicine, health and wellness, education, and law. Other ifields will
be considered on a case-by-case basis.

vocational trainer in ourprogram, please address your issues directly with your Train-the-
Trainer, vocational traineror online webhost specialist. 2. If you are still not satisfied, then, send

not become official until it isreceived in writing. 3. If still not satisfied, then I direct you to

sincerely will make everyattempt to resolve any disputes prior to this stage, if you are still

The CIE offers a Train-the-Trainer program for qualified applicants to develop trainer skills in
providing quality prevocational skills for young adults with significant barriers to employment
in a small group setting. This program is for trainers and others in the professional services
area who meet the criteria for a 4-year degree and 2,500 hours of work experience servicing
the young adult population within a five-year period and other qualifications listed below.
4. BCC Code of Ethics: Please note, this training follows the Code of Ethics offeredby

All applicants and credential holders are responsible for ensuring their behavior adheres to
the identified code of ethics or ethical standards. Before becoming credentialed, applicants
must complete all portions of the respective application and provide information regarding
any previous or current legal, criminal ordisciplinary matter. CCE policy also requires
applicants and credential holders to provide a written disclosure within sixty days of
becoming aware of any legal, criminal or disciplinarymatter involving themselves or their
practices. A reminder of the disclosure requirement is provided with the Statement of
Annual Maintenance Fees. Credential holders accept responsibility for adhering toCCE
policies and agreements, fulfilling the continuing education requirements and abiding by
code of ethics. Application disclosures and other similar matters are reviewed in
accordance with CCEprocedures, including the Credential Eligibility Policy-Ethics and the
Ethics Case Procedures. All CCE codes of ethics, policies and procedures are available

CIE Course Materials: Developed After a 2-Year Pilot Study
The author of this training have provided all curriculum materials at no cost to approved
trainees who meet registration and course completion requirements. The curriculum guidebook,
and Power Points for use in the providing this program to groups are downloadable. Please
review the CIE Website Terms of Service, COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK NOTICE document
provided to you in this training. Know that...clearly...this curriculum is not to be shared with
others. We respect your ethical decision- making in upholding the permission requests of 30
authors and agreement from the author of the CIE: CIE curriculum is never-ever… to be sold
or used to raise funds in any way. Extensive efforts have been established to prevent violating
