Bradley wrote a book to inform readers about lions. Lions live in prides of up to 15 members and hunt cooperatively. A lion's roar can be heard from 5 miles away. Cubs are born in litters of 2 to 5 and cared for by the lionesses for their first 4 years. Lions live in grasslands in parts of Africa, India and Madagascar because the tall grass provides camouflage as they hunt large prey like zebras, wildebeest and buffalo.
