Zebras are herbivores. They eat a lot of different
types of grasses. Zebras are warm blooded
mammals. They also have their babies alive.
Their stripes help them to camouflage. Their
stripes also help to confuse predators. One of
their adaptations is that they have large ears
and eyes to help them see and hear predators
before time so they can escape. A Zebra’s main
is bristly, black and white.
Habitats
A zebra’s habitat is very big and it is in Africa.
There is lots of animals like lions, hyenas and
other animals. It lives on a grassy savanna. Some
people also call a savanna a grassy plain. A
savanna is very hot.
Why Are Zebras Endangered?
A zebra is endangered because they are hunted
for there beautiful skins. They are also
endangered because of habitat loss due to
farming and ranching. Some people are trying to
fix this by doing things like speaking up for
wildlife and symbolic adoption which means to
donate money to a animal that is endangered.

group leader is a female. A males name is a stallion. No two Zebras have the
