2. Style sheet- colures
Hush
The colures used in this shot are all dark colures this make the whole atmosphere
creepy which is good because hush is a horror film and you would normally see dark
colures in horror films. Also the use of the dark blues make the whole scene more cold
and spooky. These dark colures are normally used in horror films to make the
atmosphere creepy.
3. Style sheet- colures
You’re next
The colures used in this shot was dark but not cold. The dark colures made the
shot look creepy and spooky the darkness surrounded the dead body on the bed
and the guy standing looking at the wall. The only bright light in the scene is
illuminating the bloody message saying You’re Next.

7. Contingency Planning- technical
Pot. Problem Effect on Production Solution/ Control Person Responsible
Technical: Camera runs out
of battery.
It will delay our production
of the film which means we
will have less time to film.
We can have a spare battery
but if worse comes to the
worse we will use someone’s
phone because most phones
have a high quality camera.
The person who got all the
equipment.
Technical. Tripod is broken. It will delay our filming
because we don’t have
anything stable to hold our
camera which means we
wont get stable shots.
We could go and get another
tripod.
The person who was using
the tripod or the person who
got the tripod because they
might of picked a bad tripod.
Technical. SD card runs out
of storage.
It will delay our filming
because we wont have any
storage left to film, we would
have to delete shots that we
don’t need or we will have to
go up to our room download
it onto our computers and
then clear everything from
the SD card and then start
again.
We could bring a spare SD
card just in cases this
happens also we could clear
all of the old footage that
was on the SD card before.
The person who got all the
equipment.
Technical. Camera is broken
and there is no spares.
It will delay our production
because we will have to sort
out and alternative of the
camera and we have to
explain it to our teacher.
We could use someone’s
phone which would still be
really good quality because
most phones have a good
mega pixel camera.
the person who got all the
equipment or the person
who was using the camera.
Technical. Audio is very poor
due to the wind going past
the microphone.
It will delay our production
because we will have to
reshoot that scene because
the wind is too strong.
We could try and fix it In post
production my cutting the
sound out or editing round
the wind.
The person who was using
the camera.
8. Contingency Planning- organizational
Pot. Problem Effect on Production Solution/ Control Person Responsible
Organizational: someone turns up
to the shoot wearing something
different to the day before. So in
the film this means the clothes of
the character will be different.
It wont look consistent
because they aren’t wearing
the same clothes they where
wearing yesterday which
means the film will look
uneven so production will be
delayed because they will
have to go home and get the
same clothes they where
wearing yesterday.
We could try and work around
it like if he was wearing a
different jumper they could lose
his jumper in the scene before.
The person wearing the
different clothes.
Organizational: someone forgot
to bring a certain prop.
This will delay production
because we need that prop to
film a certain scene.
We could film that scene the
next day or we could quickly
make a new prop.
The person who was supposed
to bring the prop in.
Organizational: someone might
be busy doing another task that
day of shooting.
This will delay shooting
because they where supposed
to act in the scene.
We could try and find a new
actor to fill in the roll.
The person who was supposed
to act in the scene.
Organizational: someone forgets
to bring the camera which is
needed for the shoot.
This will delay production
because they will have to go
back and get the camera and
also all of the other cameras
have all been booked out.
We could use an iPhones
because they have good
cameras.
The person who was supposed
to bring the camera in.
Organizational: someone is using
the location that you need for
your film.
This will delay filming and
production because we will
have to wait till they have
finished filming in the area.
We could film another scene
somewhere else.
The person who booked the
location or the person who is
filming in the current location
for taking ages.
9. Contingency Planning- logistical
Pot. Problem Effect on Production Solution/ Control Person Responsible
Logistical: Bus breaks down. This will delay filming because
we have to wait for the person
come.
We could film other scenes in
the meantime we could also
film someone else's film or
shoot.
It is the bus companies fault.
Logistical: someone’s car breaks
down.
This will delay filming because
we have to wait for the person
come.
We could film other scenes in
the meantime we could also
film someone else's film or
shoot.
It is the car owners fault.
Logistical: there is too much
equipment to bring the certain
location.
This will delay filming because
we have to take multiple trips so
we can bring all of the
equipment.
We could bring a trolley or a
cart which we can put all of the
equipment in and drag it to the
location.
It is our fault because we
booked a lot of equipment.
Logistical: someone cant get
transporting to the certain
location.
This will delay filming because
we have to wait for the person
to come.
We could film other scenes in
the meantime we could also
film someone else’s film or
shoot some b roll.
It is the person who cant get to
the places fault.
10. Contingency Planning- personnel
Pot. Problem Effect on Production Solution/ Control Person Responsible
Personnel: someone is ill and
cannot come to the shoot that
day.
This will delay production
because we might have to wait
a few days for them to come in
and film there stuff.
We could film other scenes in
the meantime we could also
film someone else’s film or
shoot.
It is the ill persons fault.
Personnel: someone is injured
during the production of the
film.
This will delay filming because
we have to get them to hospital
and they might not be able to
do anymore acting or filming.
We could get someone else to
act for us.
The person who got injured.
Personnel: someone has a
personnel problem with another
member of the cast or crew,
which causes tension and
drama.
This will delay filming because
we will have a lot of arguing and
fight which wont be good. Also
we will have to help them to
become friends.
We could shoot some scenes
separately.
The people who where arguing
and fighting are the ones to
blame.
Personnel: someone has to
leave early to catch a bus or a
train.
This will delay filming because
we have to stop filming early
just to cater to one person.
We could film other scenes in
the meantime we could also
film someone else’s film ore
shoot.
The person who need to catch
the bus ore train.
11. Potential Issues. How will the issue be avoided?
Someone falls over and injures
themselves.
Make sure they are safe and get them
to hospital if they are really hurt
Cables on the floor which is a
potential tripping hazarded.
Tape them down to the floor using
gaffer tape.
Broken wires. Make sure all the wires are safe.
Raining on open wires. Make sure the wires are safe and also
cover it all up.
Eye strain. Make sure you take a break and go
outside
Numb legs. Make sure you take a break and have
a walk
Health and Safety
12. Potential Issues. How will the issue be avoided?
Lifting heavy objects Don’t lift an obscene amount of wait
such as moving really heavy
equipment
Not eating enough Making sure you eat enough
Not drinking enough Making sure you drink enough
especially water
Computer overheating Make sure you cool your pc down
tiredness Make sure you take a break and good
sleep.
