This document presents a MATLAB model of a photovoltaic (PV) array developed using basic circuit equations that account for the effects of solar irradiation and temperature changes. The model is validated by comparing characteristics obtained from the modeled PV panel to those of an actual PV panel under different conditions. The model accurately reproduces the PV panel's current-voltage curve and performance under varying light and temperature levels. The document provides detailed equations for modeling a solar cell, module, and array, as well as parameters used in the simulations.
