Working Title: The Great British Angler, Because the title is straight forward and clearly
indicates the topic and location of the magazine.
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: The purpose of my magazine will be to educate people on how to fish
locally in Britain weather they are beginners or advanced. I will do this by including useful
tips and tricks that anyone could find helpful to know.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: It is a magazine.
What sort of product is it
Content My magazine will be a fishing magazine based around education people how to
fish British lakes, rivers and ponds.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: It would be average men in Britain, probably more working class men because
this takes up the vast majority of fishers in Britain.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? It will not include any offensive material.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? No because fishing can be done within reason
from any age.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? No it will not I will promote or be harmful to
any religions.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? By not including any offensive material that people
could be offended by.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? No I will not include any existing
logos or Ips.
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? Yes it will be I will do this by creating my own unique designs.
