Working Title: The British Angler
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: Educate by teaching helpful tips and locations.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: magazine
What sort of product is it
Content: I want to teach British anglers about different British fish that can be caught in
Britain by anyone with a car and a rod, whether that be lesser known or well-known species
of fish!
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: The audience would be 16-90 year olds that are working/middle class average
males, my magazine would appeal to them because these are the types of people to be
interested by fishing.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? – It will not include any offensive material.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? – only under 12’s as it is dangerous for them
to go fishing by themselves.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? – no it will not.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? – by being respectful and fair to what I include in
the magazine.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? - no
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? – Yes it will be unique.
