1. How To Write An Essay Outline
Writing an essay on the topic "How To Write An Essay Outline" may initially seem paradoxical.
It's akin to attempting to describe the process of constructing a roadmap while traversing the
very terrain you're mapping. Crafting an essay about outlining is like navigating through the
intricacies of a labyrinth while simultaneously drawing the blueprint for others to follow. The
challenge lies in maintaining a delicate balance between providing clear, concise instructions and
embodying the principles being expounded.
Firstly, there's the irony of outlining an essay about outlining. It necessitates a recursive
examination of the writing process, a meta-analysis that requires a certain level of self-awareness
and reflection. As the writer delves into the intricacies of creating an effective outline, they must
grapple with the challenge of elucidating a systematic approach while avoiding the pitfalls of
circular reasoning.
Furthermore, the difficulty escalates when considering the diverse audience that might engage
with such an essay. A novice writer may require detailed, step-by-step instructions, while a more
seasoned wordsmith might seek nuanced insights and advanced techniques. Striking a balance
that caters to both ends of the spectrum requires finesse in articulation and an acute
understanding of the varying needs within the readership.
Moreover, the challenge extends beyond mere theoretical exposition. The essay must exemplify
the principles it advocates. The clarity and coherence expected in a well-crafted outline should be
mirrored in the essay itself. This demands a meticulous application of the very guidelines being
proffered, turning the process into a self-referential exercise that adds another layer of
complexity to the task.
In conclusion, composing an essay on "How To Write An Essay Outline" is an intricate dance
between theory and practice, a delicate tightrope walk where the writer must embody the
principles they expound. The recursive nature of the topic and the diverse audience it caters to
amplify the intricacy. Yet, as with any challenge, overcoming these complexities can lead to a
heightened understanding of the subject matter and an enhanced ability to articulate it.

These kind of actions are called acts of censorship and most of them are against the

government or social group regulates the content in movies, books, and other types

instance of censorship is when 20,000 books were burned in 1933 by the Germans

that happened on May 10, 1933 were a direct result of the German propaganda

Throughout this timeline, the government had kept an approach of arresting the high

Though the first nations had operated on Canadian soil long before any Europeans
settled on the land, they were still disregarded in terms of importance in the early
20th century: Aboriginal policy was made by government without consulting
Aboriginal people and with little public attention . This quote shows how First
Nations people had no voice when it came to decisions made about them, or
anything else in Canada for that matter. Aboriginals hated that they were being taken
advantage of, and they felt like they were just a pawn in the government s game of
chess. However, this started to change in the 1950s when public opinion became
more informed and disturbed about Aboriginal poverty and marginality . The
Aboriginals voice was finally heard in 1951, where the Indian Act was revised.
Aboriginal representatives looked to further revise the Act in 1968, but the
Government had other plans. In the Summer of 1969, the Government releases its

The Government now saw for the first time of how the First Nations could put up a

9. The Between Parliament And The Executive Body
The orthodoxy that the UK Parliament remains insufficiently assertive should be
discarded. The UK Parliament, as the highest legislative authority in the country,
shoulders the responsibility to represent the interests and concerns of the public. All
the while, the Parliament has effectuated well established functions. However, the
relationship between the Parliament and the executive body has evolved over time.
The changes in the roles of the legislative and executive body is more evident. In this
essay, I will seek to expand on this thesis by outlining the function of the UK
legislature, examining the measures taken by the Parliament, and analysing the
arguments for and against my claim.
It is acknowledged that the Parliament has a definite role in scrutinising the work of
the executive; holding the executive into account of their policies and actions; yet the
contentious issue of how effectively the Parliament fulfils this role is still being
debated.

ABSTRACT
The number of parents entering the workforce continues to grow. However, the
amount of available, affordable, and quality childcare facilities in the United States
remains inadequate. Employees using inadequate childcare are more likely to be late
for work, absent, or distracted on the job. High rates of turnover, absenteeism, and
low productivity cost employers money. This researcher proposes to formulate a

When childcare problems are chronic, parents don t just miss work; they may leave
their jobs altogether. Finding childcare is especially difficult for employees who
work evening or weekend hours or for those who have rotating shifts. More and
more U.S. workers find themselves working nontraditional hours as the trend toward
a global, service based economy intensifies. Most child care providers offer day care
during the traditional working hours of nine to five. Now, only 1 out of 3 mothers
stays at home and provides full time care for her children. About half of all
preschoolers spend at least part of the day in some type of facility outside of the
home (DOL, 1998). Dual career families are now the most predominant types of
family in the American workforce. Because so many parents face the same
problems, childcare is no longer a strictly private matter; it is an urgent public
concern. Parents, therefore, have a special role to play in ensuring that early care and
education become a high priority on the national agenda.
The Statement of the Problem
This researcher proposes to examine and evaluate current problems associated with
inadequate childcare for parents who work
15. The Moral Principles Which Control An Individual s
Behaviour
Ethics is the name for the moral principles which control an individual s behaviour.
Ethics is also known as moral philosophy, which is the discipline concerned with
what is morally right and wrong. In my assignment I will look into how a Utilitarian
and a Kantian react to a specific scenario, seeing how both perspectives differ and
deciding which one is better in the given scenario. Utilitarianismis the theory in
normative ethicsthat believes the best action is the one which provides the most
happiness. This is known as the Greatest Happiness Principle, the belief that the less
pain an act produces, the more morally praiseworthy that action will be. Kantianism
on the other hand is the belief of Emmanuel Kant, asserting that the act... Show more

The second is the Hedonic Principle, which is the belief that not all pleasures are of
the same worth as you have bodily pleasures, intellectual pleasures and aesthetic
pleasures. Finally is the Equity Principle, which believes each individuals
happiness is equal when making a decision, nobody s happiness is more important
than anyone else s. Utilitarian could act several ways in this situation depending on
what type of utilitarian they were. The basis of most utilitarian s decisions is to
provide the most happiness and least pain so they would assess whether the
happiness of the women outweighs the unhappiness of the shop keeper. An act
utilitarian believes in assessing individual situations when making a decision, so in
this case an act utilitarian would want to know the background of the women. By
assessing the situation an act utilitarian could find out that the women possibly
stole because she couldn t afford baby food and desperately needed it for her baby
meaning looking at it from an act utilitarian point of view is effective in producing
the best outcome this woman and her baby which would most definitely outweigh
the unhappiness of the shopkeeper. So an act utilitarian would be likely to not tell as
they know the situation of the women and she had to steal for the wellbeing of her
baby. A rule utilitarian believes in following general

professional, ethical and legal responsibilities of the paramedic in administering

Benzylpenicillin is a broad spectrum antibiotic. The pre hospital indication to use the

and signs and symptoms suggestive of meningococcal meningitis and septicaemia.

Studies suggest that by the time an ambulance is called, the patient is normally late

The EDF is a non profit organization whose goal is to protect the environment. The
organization have many projects that help them to raise fund for such goal. Their
main stakeholders are the people who support them and push politicians to pass

this programs creates a small network that only allows people who are strictly
selected by the EDF. Moreover, the plans that their interns create for company
affect some stakeholders inside the company they work for. Consequently, many
other stakeholders are negatively affected by this. In order to avoid more negative
effects instead of positive, the EDF should extend the Climate Corps program and

indirect problems can also be solve. To begin with, one of the most affected

that their interns are the best in the country. First, the EDF only accepts students who
are in top colleges of the country. Secondly, they have to be the top of their
generation. These two main requirements are used as advertisement in the Climate

others and good intentions for all of his actions throughout the book. Though he
went on dates with Jordan Baker, Nick never saw the importance of true love or
family life; he simply saw it as a complication that ruined the lives of others. Other
characters, such as Wilson and Gatsby, felt they needed to provide for those they
loved. George Wilson was a tired and worn out worker who owned an auto shop in
New York. George loved his wife, Myrtle, rather passionately, although she was
preoccupied with an extra marital love affair. While he is unaware of his wife s
unfaithfulness, George worked to provide for his wife out of his great love for
her. Jay Gatsby is another character who felt the only way his dream could be
accomplished was if he he was able to be with and provide for the girl he loved.
Gatsby, as we come to know him by, was a man who knew Daisy before he left for
the war. The two young characters were in love, and Daisy promised she would wait
for him to come home from the war. George and Gatsby are rather similar in the way
that the women they loved were unfaithful to them, and ironically, both women were
in love with the same man, Tom Buchanan. Although Daisy does not uphold her
promise to Gatsby, she still symbolizes his ever unattainable dream. Gatsby feels the

22. The Reign Of King Louis XIV Of France
Louis XIV of France, born in September 5, 1638, became the king when he was
only four years old, after his father s death. He ruled for 72 years and died on
September 1, 1715, so he lived longer than any other European ruler. During his
reign, Louis transformed the monarchy, marked a new golden age of arts and
literature, and made his country the most powerful on the continent until the War
of the Spanish. In 1648, a civil war known as The Fronde , began and the royal
family had to leave Paris. Louis chief minister could stop the revolt in 1652 and by
the end of the decade, he restored order and made a peace treaty with Spain, making
France a powerful European leader. The Fronde resulted in Louis fear of rebellion,

The tower will be constructed by a contractor and construction team, so all materials
will be procured and handled by them. Zenda will be in charge of posting interpretive
signage around/on top of the tower, and the children programming team will be in
charge of incorporating the tower as a destination for their activities.
3 Programming Ideas
3.1 Programming 1 Interpretive Signage
The first programing concept involves interpretive signage. This would be a short
term project with no permanent staffing requirements. The initial outlay would just
be the cost of the signs themselves coming to somewhere in ball park of $500. The
goal would to be have theses signs on the top of tower in such a way that they can
help provide information about what can be seen without obstructing the views.
Things the might describe include local flora and fauna such as the birds and bees or
landmarks like the farmhouse ruins.

there but there are now dikes to control them better. The climate in Netherlandsis
mild (Amsterdam guide, 2003).
Netherlands wanted independence in 1581 but didn t get it until 1648 (Amsterdam

25. Galileo s View of the New World Essay
Galileo s letter to the Grand Duchess Christina caused much controversy when it was
written in 1613. It caused such controversy because it was an indirect attack on the
Catholic Church with a viewpoint that was not of the status quo . This essay will
thoroughly analyse this document. It will analyse the context behind what was
happening in 17th century with regards to science and religion. Secondly it will
critically explain and analyse the grounds behind why this document actually holds
significance. This will make the argument that Galileo wanted to make the distinction
between science and religion. In order to understand and analyse this source, the letter
needs to be in its 17th century context. During this period, the Catholic... Show more

He argues that Galileo liked to create controversy . This could set a precedent that
Galileo wanted to cause uproar by going so far to the extreme that the nobles and
the Church would take a serious look into his findings, when he may have
exaggerated certain points. One of Galileo s main issues was the purpose of scripture
with regards to interpretation. Galileo makes the argument that Scripture cannot be
wrong but it is up to the interpretation of it. For example, he stated, Though the
scripture cannot err, nevertheless some of its interpreters and expositors can
sometimes err in various ways . Furthermore he states that if we were to take the
literal meaning of what the scripture states we would be personifying God by giving
him human characteristics of a body and emotions. In essence the literal
interpretation would give God the right to make mistakes, which of course would not
be accepted by anyone in the church. Galileo did have a basis for his argument on the
relation of the interpretation of scripture with regards to science. Copernicus, in his
letter to Pope Paul III, stated that there are many differing interpretations within the
scientists focused on astronomy. One of the main points he makes is that astronomers
cannot agree on how to accurately measure the tropical year . Copernicus

Internet chat rooms have become a devastating disadvantage to the social interaction
and growth of people in the world. More and more of the world s youth are becoming
addicted to Internet chat rooms. Not only are Internet chat room relationships leading
to impersonal contact of people hiding flaws behind anonymity, they are leading to
the abduction of many underage individuals. In an article published in The Age, a
magazine in Melbourne, Australia, Doctor Mubarak Rahamathulla has researched
teenagers that have become pathologically addicted to Internet chat rooms.

peace, love and understanding are a snarling snake pit, with fans one upping each

What Barr addresses in her article is a reflection of what is going on all over the
Internet. In chat rooms on millions of different sites people are pretending to be
who they are not, because they want to express opinions about a topic they feel
passionate about, without being criticized. The idea is that if your screen name is

that keeps people logged into chat rooms all hours of the day, every day, keeping
them from the physically social world. And turning their life into an online soap

29. The Tragedy Of A Disaster
Disaster is seen by most as a circumstance or occasion that outcomes in misfortune
and mishap. In cutting edge society, it isn t uncommon to hear people name
something as inconsequential as breaking their telephone screen a disaster. Be that as
it may, disaster is more intricate. Aristotle rethinks catastrophe through the lense of
dramatization as the impersonation of an activity that is not kidding furthermore, as
having greatness, finish in itself; in fitting and pleasurable language;... in a
sensational as opposed to account shape; with occurrences exciting compassion and
dread, wherewith to achieve a purge of these feelings. Through the eyes of Aristotle,
a catastrophe incorporates occasions in a play that would bring about pathetic
emotions towards the primary character, or shocking saint, to emerge inside the
group of onlookers individuals. Not just ought to the gathering of people feel a
feeling of pity, yet they ought to feel a feeling of dread amid the movement of the
play for the deplorable saint since they can suspect the sad legend s destruction before
the anagnorisis. There is a typical conviction that legends come in capes, can
accomplish the unachievable, and are faultless. Aristotle challenges that conviction
with the terrible legend. To him, a lamentable saint is thought to be a person whose
difficulty emerges, not through bad habit or evil but rather by some mistake of
judgment. The heartbreaking legend is portrayed as moral and upright yet not

many countries wonder why South Koreagrew despite being the center stage of the

32. Raymond Carver Cathedral Analysis
Blind to the Blind
To be imaginative is to be a child. As a person ages, he is expected to mature into
adulthood and to live in the real world. He is expected to abandon his childhood
dreams and cultivate practicality and factuality. However, imaginations are not
limited to unicorns and dragons; it is a skill a person must nurture to realize his
dreams and desires. To be imaginative is to be a visionary. Without a vision, a person
lacks the sight for compassion, curiosity, and self consciousness. In this sense,
imagination is not only to think outside the box, but also to search deeper inside. In
the short story, Cathedral by Raymond Carver, Carver develops the idea that a lack of
imagination limits a person to the physical and visible world which leads to the
blindness to the abstract world and rejection of the uncertain future. It is when a
person opens his eyes to the unseen that he can create emotional connection with
others and discover the profound truth inside himself.
The narrator s lack of imagination leads him to reject what is beyond his visual
perception. The narrator looks at his surroundings plainly as they are and therefore
fails to see the deeper meanings behind it. Throughout the story, the narrator is
watching television, which symbolizes his narrow perspective and his failure to
observe the world on his own. His idea of blindness came from the movies (Carver

Beneficial AI Many wonder if Artificial Intelligence (AI) could be beneficial to
humanity. AI has been around for only a few years. Voice Assistants such as Bixby
and Siri help people maneuver through screen selection, apps and much more on
their cell phones easier and faster. AI is slowly getting better, with things such as
self driving cars and robotic relations. There are two types of AI, weak AI and
strong AI. Weak AI are things we have today such as those listed above (Siri and
Bixby), and the strong AI are what researchers are currently working towards.
There are many ways that AI could be useful in our lives, it can help us to move
forward in technology that we have yet to make many advances in, it can also
make everyday complications and annoyances much easier for humans. With the
help of AI, technology will be better and faster than ever because AI will not make
repeated mistakes like people would. First, AI are created to learn as they go. AI
are able to make fast advances by being given set goals. In the article, Benefits and
Risks of AI, the author wrote, Machines can obviously have goals in the narrow
sense of exhibiting goal oriented behavior: the behavior of a heat seeking missile
is most economically explained as a goal to hit a target (Tegmark). Researchers are
able to set a goal for the AI to reach so it will not get off task, which will make the
research process faster without common distractions. This allows the AI to work

34. An Interesting Software Design Technique
3.3DOMAIN DRIVEN ARCHITECTURE
An interesting software design technique to understand and solve complexity is
Domain Driven Design (DDD). Domain Driven Design advocates modeling based on
the reality of business as relevant to our use cases. As it is now getting older and hype
level decreasing, many of us forget that the DDD approach really helps in
understanding the problem at hand and design software towards the common
understanding of the solution. When building applications, DDD talks about
problems as domains and subdomains. It describes independent steps/areas of
problems as bounded contexts, emphasizes a common language to talk about these
problems, and adds many technical concepts, like entities, value objects and
aggregate root rules to support the implementation. Sometimes these technical rules
are perceived as hard barriers implementing the DDD, but at the end, people tend to
forget that the important part is to organize code artifacts in alignment with business
problems and using the same common, ubiquitous language.
Domain modeling helps to identify and separate tangled implementations, if you are
lucky to have a domain model to guide you. If you don t already have a domain
model for an existing application (which is generally true in most cases), instead of
going through the code to understand the different responsibilities, building a domain
model and mapping the capabilities to the application at hand can probably be a
better approach. This will both save
35. Comparing Aquinas And St. Bonaventure
Theology in the middle ages, was the leading fascination to the human minds
especially the theologians or more specifically the scholastics. Some of the
scholastics who were fascinated by God are well known and those people are St.
Bonaventure and Thomas Aquinas. Thus far, the two scholastics have interesting
theories on knowing godbut only one is better than the other to prove that god exists.
Thomas Aquinas(while disliking the idea) and St. Bonaventure try to establish this by
pointing out reason, revelation and eventually knowing god. Therefore, the idea of
reason should be well established by either one of the theologians.
The idea of knowing god through the method of reason is how these two theologians
attack this subject. Thomas ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Aquinas uses the five ways to prove of the God s existence by indicating; the
motion that makes things possible and makes things work, of efficient cause
things happen because of a cause so that cause is God, for possibility and necessity
things cannot be created so quickly therefore God is responsible for this creation of
the universe, for the gradation of things anything that is created is not really perfect
because of things that happen God is responsible and the final way is the
governance of the world how things are ordered in the world because of God. In
which this is his version of pursuing the idea of divine illumination. Bonaventure has
merely the different aspect but in his way he describes how he exists is by stating the
fact that we are created in God s image in this contemplation consists the perfect
illumination of our mind, when, as it were, on the sixth day it sees man made to the
image of God. The idea expressed by Bonaventure indicates that from the moment
humans were created resembles how the people have the divine illumination of the
mind. Thomas Aquinas and Bonaventure has two different minds for the unity or the
separation of the divine
36. Palace Of Versailles Research Paper
Castles, palaces, and cathedrals are scattered across Europe. Each one possesses
unique characteristics and architecture bearing resemblance of their time. Some
castles incorporate Greek influence, roman or gothic influence in design. Other
castles and palaces are surrounded by sculptures outside in the courtyard or include
sculptures worshiped as an altarpiece. While any one of these things would serve to
make an ordinary castle more elaborate there is one palace that possesses all of
these: The Palace of Versailles in France. The Palace of Versailles has managed to
incorporate classic architecture, exquisite sculptures, and amalgamated the old design
with the newer design trends of the day.
The palace of Versailles contains architecture from the Greek, Roman, and Gothic
eras. The Greeks used Doric, Ionic, Corinthian order columns in their architecture

Literature Review
Social isolation is a concept that can be utilized across multiple disciplines such as
psychology, sociology, pharmacology, psychiatry, anthropology, and nursing. Social
isolation is most seen in the disabled, those suffering with mental disorders and
alcoholism, the divorced and the elderly. Social isolation is also one of the most
frequently used nursing diagnosis. Social isolation is defined two ways as it relates
to the psychology and sociology disciplines in an article titled Measuring Social
Isolation among Older Adults Using Multiple Indicators from the NSHAP Study.

When a Crisis Happens or Your Circumstances Change Sometimes life happens and

downturn, family crisis, or major health problem of your own. If an unforeseen

your plans. Talk to your supervisor, graduate program director, and/or TA or student
union representative to find out your options. They probably have lots of
experience with students in similar situations, and most will be happy to advocate
on your behalf. Occasionally, even the most carefully chosen path needs to be
revised. Old interests wane, circumstances irrevocably alter, or you find your
program unsuitable or unbearable. If this occurs, consult with relevant faculty,
graduate students and academic advisors about the possible ramifications of
changing fields, programs, or institutions. Will your progress be delayed, and if so,
by how much and in what way? Through serious consideration, you can decide
whether the extra burdens associated with a major shift are worth enduring. Do not,
however, confuse discouragement for failure or incompatibility with the historical

39. Sonny s Blues By James Baldwin
In the short story Sonny s Blues , by James Baldwin there is the notion or a
reoccurring theme of a conflict between light and dark between the characters. The
notion is carried throughout the story of two brothers finding their own lights and
trying to work towards a greater life. In the late 50 s, after the Harlem Renaissance,
adolescents are faced with drug sales everywhere and crime sprees around every
corner, this is one example of the darkness in the story. Kids began to form bad
habits that revolved around drugs and crime because it was what they became used
to seeing in their everyday routine. Later on in life they would find themselves in
unthinkable situations and not finding a way out. Sonny s older brother, who is also
the narrator of the story finds himself in disbelief because he finds out his brother is
incarcerated because of a heroin addiction. Sonny wanted to be a famous pianist but
thought that heroin would open his mind up and make his creative thought flow. By
using his music, Sonny tries to make a better life for himself and attempts to return to
the lightafter being in the dark for so long. The notion of light and dark reflects the
character s personalities and actions as they struggle to live in the ominous city of
Harlem. The author expresses the human spirit throughout Sonny s Blues to reveal
how the characters and ordinary people find their own light within the darkness in
which they live.
Baldwin had chosen specifically to use Harlem as the
40. Parliamentary Sovereignty In The UK
During the buildup to the 2016 Brexit referendum those who campaigned to leave the
European Union did so in order to take back control of their nation, including taking
back control of parliamentary sovereignty. Parliamentary sovereignty is one of the
fundamental values of the United Kingdom s constitutional law but European Union
law, since the 1972 European Communities Act, trumps that sovereignty. This
transpired due to the United Kingdombecoming a member of the European Union
where EU law takes primacy over national law. With being a member of the European
Union it entailed that the key law making body would be that of the European
Commission rather than Westminster Parliament. Many European Union regulations

As human rights become more prevalent the courts could transition into the main law
making body in regards to protecting those rights in common law. Baroness Hale in
Jackson v Her Majesty s A G (2005) states, The courts will treat... any attempt to
subvert the rule of law by removing governmental actions affecting the rights of the
individual from all judicial scrutiny. By this Baroness Hale meant that even though
Parliament has sovereignty, the courts will intervene if legislation over steps its
boundaries and affects human rights, as depicted in the Human Rights Act 1998. The
limitations to Parliamentary Sovereignty is not something new but instead has been
witnessed throughout the formation of this modern society. For example, in the
North Atlantic Treaty 1949 article 5 states that members must come to the defense
of fellow members, which suggests a forfeiture of sovereignty over utilizing British
forces. Also part of being a member of the World Trade Organization means that the
United Kingdom is subject to global regulation and arbitration of its goods and
services, which is another trade off of sovereignty. The European Communities Act
1972 can be seen as another type of exchange of sovereignty for the greater good of
the country. During the 17th century Parliamentary Sovereignty was needed to create
order out of chaos but in the modern world

Scientists in this field, such as Lawrence Kohlberg ( known for his theory of moral
development) and Jean Piaget ( known for his epistemological studies with children)
study the construction of the human brain and its understanding of the world. Modern
cognitive scientists have come up with a new theory about the mind. After doing an
experiment involving an MRI of the human brain from ages two to twenty two, they
have conluded that the human brain is not fully developed until at least 25 years old.
This means that the justice system may be incorrect in trying juvinilles as adults in
court cases. What is the proper age that a person is considered an adult? Adolecents
lack the ability to make rational judgements and control sudden impulses when under
stress. Their descions are usually lacking in sense if it was made based purely upon
the emotion at hand (fear, anger, and nervousness illicit the most dangerous
reactions). Young adults are more likely to take focus on the current situation rather
than the consequences of the future. Teen judgement is skewed because of a great
deal of emotion going into their thinking, leading them to make irrational judgements.
According to scientists, the brain develops from the back to the front. The frontal
lobe, which is mainly responsible for executive processes (judgement, weighing
outcomes and decision making) is not fully mature. The

workplace for well written business communications. The three topics I will cover
can serve as an outline for improving writing skills in businesses. The topics are
principles of business writing, how to write an effective business letter, and how to
improve business writing within the company. These topics will aid in examining and
improving our company s employees writing skills.
First, there are four principles of writing: Empathy, ... Show more content on

Following the Attention Line is the Body. The body contains detailed information
about the topic. The body includes the introductory paragraph, one or more body
paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph. Finally, there is the closing. The closing
is usually ended with a complementary closing and signature. A list of examples
include: Sincerely, Cordially, Best regards, and Yours very truly. Remember to
capitalize the first word in the complimentary closing and end it with a comma.
After the closing, there is a copy line. When the copy line is used, other people
know who will be receiving a copy. The copy line usually includes a symbol: c: for
copy, pc: for photocopy, and bc: blind copy (used only to limit readers of other
copies). The names of the recipients should follow these symbols listed in
organizational rank (Writing@CSU: Writing Guide, 2004, p. 1). All of the
components discussed above are effective ways to write an effective business letter.
An effective business letter speaks to a specific reader. Therefore, the right type of
business letter must reach the reader. The most common types of business letters are:
1) Acknowledgement Letters, 2) Adjustment Letters, 3) Complaint Letters, 4) Inquiry
Letters, 5) Order Letters, and Response Letters. (Writing@CSU: Writing Guide, 2004
p. 1). These type letters helps guide the reader to understanding what the writer
intended. Nothing can be more

State Business Relations in Japan in the Postwar PeriodIn the economic history of
contemporary Asia, governments in many countries have played very important role
to lead economic developments of their nations. The rapid economic growth of Japan
after the Second World War has been widely acknowledged and is dubbed as the
Economic Miracle. Some theorists attempt to explain this economic phenomenon
with Japan s geography, international involvement, historical experiences and
contemporary experiences. Some theorists focus on the role of the state as the major
actor to drive and direct economic success. Recently, many studies and concepts have

The state has power and autonomy to manipulate and achieve the goals it consciously
set. Consequently, the developmental state is influential in economic and national
development, and marks as a distinctive feature in Asian experience. In every other
country, the state has to constantly work with a number of private groups, particularly
big businesses, political group and labor unions. In order to implement industrial and
economic policies efficiently and effectively, the state has to put them under its
control and ensure they all work towards the same direction. Therefore, in reality, the
state has to maintain and legitimize its power and autonomy over different spheres of
a society. By imposing influences or putting pressure on business groups who have
substantial financial power and economic status, the state can achieve its goals. Thus,
the state business relation is a controversial factor in pushing economic development.
In this paper, the state of Japan and its domestic big businesses will be the main
focus for the analysis of economic development in postwar Japan. The paper serves
to explore the phenomenon of and the reasons for the economic growth of Japan in
the postwar period as the state became committed to pursuing economic development
when the big businesses grew and contributed to a large portion of GNP and national
wealth. This paper will raise the following research questions: What is the state
business relation in Japan? How was

46. The Discovery Of The Night
Now when the fourteenth night had come, as we were driven up and down in the
Adriatic Sea, about midnight the sailors sensed that they were drawing near some
land...When it was day, they did not recognize the land; but they observed a bay
with a beach, onto which they planned to run the ship if possible. But striking a
place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground. (Acts 27: 27 44
This is Luke s account of the shipwreck that Paul experienced in the Adriatic Sea,
near the Island of Malta as he made his way by ship to Rome with two hundred
seventy five other people aboard. A fourteen night storm had beaten the ship until it
was falling apart; however, before it sank, the wind pushed it within swimming
distance of the Island of Malta. Upon seeing land, the centurion told those who could
swim to jump into the water and swim to land. Then he told the others to grab a
board and float to the shore and their safety. Amazingly, they all safely escaped to
land.
I doubt not that of all of us have experienced hard times in our lives. Life can be
perplexing, especially when it appears that we have reached the end of our rope and
there is no visible way out of the situation. Tragically, some people have given up all
hope and acted foolishly.
Our difficulties are often self imposed; however, problems can be brought upon us by
the actions of other people. Nonetheless, regardless of how the difficulty came about,
one problem can be just as frightening as the other.

47. My Experience In Sports
Have you been interested in sports? Have you ever had injuries that you had
playing that sport? I have been an athlete since I was four years old. I have been in
three different sports such as gymnastics, softball and volleyball. With the time
and years I have spent with these three sports I have had two major injuries.
Gymnastics was the very first sport I have ever done. I was a gymnast for eight
years. I started when I was four years old and as I got older I started competitive
gymnastics. On January 21, 2011 I was In Indianapolis at the Convention Center
competing at Circle Of Stars. I was competing on floor and just ended my first
tumbling pass and I landed wrong, I sat there on the floor for a couple minutes
crying in pain and then got up and finished my floor routine. When I ended I
carried myself halfway off the floor until my coach came and carried me off the
rest of the way. I went to the trainer who was at the meet and she said it was just
sprained by looking at it. So my mom took me to the hospital and I got some x rays
and they said it was massive sprain too so they put a small cast on my foot to let
the sprain heal. After I got better I continued to do gymnastics. A couple years
passed and I was still having problems with it so my mom took me to the Orthopedic
and he looked at my x rays. My ankle was actually broken in the growth plate and it
healed wrong so now everytime I bend my ankle it rubs on one of my other bones
causing and groove in my bone. The

Introduction When people think of noise control they normally think of sound being
able to controlled. However, that not the case in airline industry. What noise
controlled does to the airline industry is to seek a safe working environment that
would not disturbed the environment and public health. It started in 1972 when
congress passes the Noise Control Act to reduce noise pollutionbeing produce by
aircraft. Although there are other factors that is part of the noise pollutionlike

Eventually, the advances of airplane since the Wright s brothers more airplanes are
now well equipped with the latest technology, faster, and stealthier. However, with
every new airplane being produce there are problems that can arise, such as noise

public health. For example, every time a plane is taking off it burn fuels and
causes carbon emission build up in the earth atmospheres, as well as, making noise

planes flying over residential areas impairs people s ability to work, learn in

49. How Did Andrew Jackson Impact On Native Americans
Andrew Jackson s Impact on Native Americans When someone mentions the name
Andrew Jackson , what comes to mind? Is it the infamous Bank War where he
attempted to destroy the Second Bank of the United States? Or, is it the term
Jacksonian Democracy and the creation of the short lived Whig Party? If you are a
Native American, the name Andrew Jacksonmay be a painful reminder of the Indian
Removal Act and the Trail of Tears. To the Native American populous, the seventh
president of the United Statesis a figure who brought pain and suffering to their
ancestors. He was not the common man often portrayed in history books who worked
on behalf of all who lived in the United States. This former war hero focused on
pleasing American farmers and settlers, not the needs of Native tribes. The unfair
actions that Andrew Jackson made during his presidency negatively affected the way
Native Americans were treated by the United States government throughout the
nineteenth century. After he was elected president in 1828, Andrew Jackson entered

the tribes who were originally omitted to follow all rules and regulations of the
Dawes Act. Now, the federal government of the United States could legally seize
Native lands without consent of the tribe. At this time, the removal of Native
Americans was legal, just as Andrew Jackson had originally
50. Current Issues In Health Care
One of the main issues government workers face for the next decade is the aging
workforce due to retirement in crucial administration positions. The public health
workforce significantly lack experienced leaders to fill the gaps of certain
employment positions. Employees who are within management positions are not
certain when they will retire due to indefinite economic situations from the previous
years. Additionally, the aging workforce issue is more dominant in pubic
organizations than private administrations because public organizations have to
compete with private firms that provide temporary attractive opportunities. As a
result, management is confronted with challenges to promote younger workers for
advancement and recruit and retain... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

respond by applying policies to address the issue. Individuals within the public health
workforce have noted factors such as competitive benefits, job insecurity,
opportunities for advancement, training, low job satisfaction, noncompetitive wage
and inflexible schedules to be personal factors that influence their decision to leave

51. Fine Motor Skills And The Importance Of Occupational...
Fine motor skills refer to the small muscles in the hands. Proper development of
these muscles is crucial for children to succeed academically in writing and self help
skills. According to the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC), Fine
motor skills form an important foundation for the acquisition of many other skills,
including literacy, numeracy, self help and the ability to perform many everyday
tasks (2008). Children start to develop motor skillsfrom birth, and the ways in which
children s muscles develop will later affect their motor function. Caretakers often look
for the typical milestones that infants develop; however, infants acquire development
at different rates benefiting child growth. From birth through the early grades
(preschool to second grade) children are constantly using their fine motor skills to
eat, dress themselves, and in social settings such as school. These skills link to
infancy development and are factors in knowing how well children will succeed. The
following sub topics address fine motor development and the importance of
occupational therapy interventions:

Executive Summary
This report focuses upon the operations of UNDAF and the assistance that it is
providing to the countries in order to help them achieve national development goals.
UNDAF presents a great opportunity for the nations to come together and build a
coherent association with the UN system to address various issues pertaining to the
field of development assistance. With this framework, different UN organizations can
associate with the government of the nations to nurture the effectiveness. Deliver as

underlying agenda along with periodic reviews (Jagel, 2012).
United Nation s Delivering as one vision in the area of development assistance has
been a major strategic programme framework which intends to work upon achieving
national development priorities which is evident from observance of the progress and
the outcomes of the contribution done so far as well as going on track with the future

According to United Nations Development Group (2010), further to authorizing its
conduct and contribution, the General Assembly also encouraged the UN
development system to boost its collaboration with the various countries at different
levels in order to bolster the national capabilities as well as to support the national
development priorities with the help of assessment of the common countries and the

53. The Character Of Boxer In Animal Farm, By George Orwell
Boxer s Denial The novel Animal Farm by George Orwell talks about an
abundance of animals that take over a farm. They drive their horrible owner away
and keep up on the farm work themselves. One character that stands out is Boxer.
He is loyal and very hardworking no matter how tired he is. Most the animals are
hardworking but Boxer is that one extra special animal. When he showed all his
hard work it influenced the others to do the same. That s when they all worked
together to get certain things done. Boxer always obeyed the leader, no matter
who it was. In the book Animal Farm, Boxer always stayed loyal and never let
anyone down even though his stupidity led to his downfall. During the novel,
Boxer was about the only animal that stayed loyal to his leader. From Snowball to
Napoleon, Boxer was right by their side ready to obey orders and always willing to
listen to all sides. When Napoleon is leader it s almost like Boxer gets that he
shouldn t be leader and that he does the wrong things. But, then it ties back to his
loyalty with just following the leader and believing in them. There wasn t much
work he did that didn t benefit the farm, but even if there was he would do it. Not
for him, but everyone else and most importantly for the leader at the time. When
Napoleon takes over there is something about his leadership that has Boxer s
attention. Some animals see faults in his ruling, but not Boxer. Throughout Napoleon
s reign Boxer repeats Napoleon is always right (Orwell

While today s unemployment is just below ten percent, the time period between
Herbert Hoover s defeat and Franklin Roosevelt s commencement, otherwise known
as the Great Depression, that percent reached nearly twenty five percent. In addition
to the high unemployment rate, in October 1929, when the stock market crashed, life
became full of despair and troubles for every single individual and the national
government was not able to cushion the blow with unemployment insurance,
payments to retirees, or welfare for mothers and children (Crain). Hoovervilles, or

55. Global Warming And Its Effects On Society
Another important fact in Global warming is known for causing more natural
disasters such as floods, wildfires, heat waves, tropical storms, and etc. (Jones,
2010). This seems to me to come into place as common sense if temperatures
escalate, glaciers will melt and as a conclusion, it will possibly make the oceans rise
causing erosion.
Therefore, stated in the article Greenhouse Effect, enlightened numerous lower
regions, mainly experiencing warmer temperatures in their climates (Losev, 2014).
By reading this article I absorbed that it s just not any country, it seems to happen to
underdeveloped countries that have the main effects because they are not dominate
(Kuczynski, Vidal, Li etc., 2011). I have considered that a dominant society compared
to none dominate culture will have the resources to stop these harmful chemicals into
their society before it causes harm to their nation and then into others. Another critical
factor of climate change is pollutions and pollen. As stated by the authors, the rising
temperatures can lead to an extensive season for individuals, meaning extensive
allergy issues (Todea, Suatean, Coman etc., 2013.).
In the article, Melt or Grow? Fate of Himalayan Glaciers Unknown, scientist has
stated that global warming is like a snowball effect, people care, but then reinforce
greenhouse gases, which have been shown to make our earth warmer (Harris,2012).
The effects of warming temperatures are actually taking a big chunk out of our
56. Social Welfare Research Paper
There is much controversy on whether social welfare programs truly assist those in
need to become more self reliant or just make them more reliant and dependent on the
government for support. Many Americans are under the misguided belief that all of
their hard earned money is handed out to those who are simply too lazy to work.
While this statement is certainly untrue, the age old question about the effectiveness
of welfareweighs heavy on the minds of many. The following is going to convince
and prove the effectiveness of welfare. The welfare system was created to help our
citizens and government work efficiently and smoothly with all the programs it offers.

People do not understand how much welfare has supported this country,
approximately 109,631,000 people living in households taking federal welfare
benefits as of the end of 2012, according to the Census Bureau. Everybody in there
lives runs into difficult patches in life. That is where welfare assistance may be
needed, many Americans today are one paycheck away from being without a
home or food to eat,, or in danger of losing their means of transportation because of
the suffering economy and natural disasters that have hit. When bad things
happen to good people, there are government welfare programs are available at
every level to help them until times get better. Welfare eligibility is open to every
US citizens because it is a right given to all of us. When the government welfare
system does not help you, it fails at its main goal to provide people with equally
and give the opportunity to have lives worth living. Government welfare programs
are still around for the purpose of serving those in need, and using them to their full
ability is vital if you d like them to stay around and help .At the first level is local
city government welfare assistance. There are programs available that can either help
you directly, or refer you to other sorts of welfare assistance. Most city governments
have provisions for emergency welfare assistance with utilities, food, and other
necessities.

Eco services: The Company uses its cradle to cradle approach to bring in more
efficiency in the services which helps not only the operators but also the
environment. The company is using new Air traffic management systems to
optimise routing and get fuel savings. It has also started a project called Pamela
which will take care of reuse and recycling of more than 85% of an airline s parts.
Also the inputs from this project have been incorporated in the lifecycle
management. With use of a system called Tarmac Aerosave platform it has been able
to decommission and recycle aircrafts at two European airports.
Eco partnerships: The Company is using many methods for sustainability for its
aircrafts. Major issues can be resolved with creation of partnerships with other
stakeholders. Its partners include British Airways, Heathrow Airport .It has partnered
with European Union and leading European airlines to research and produce
sustainable jet fuel for use. It has also partnered with SESAR and NextGen to better
Air Traffic Management systems. Airbus is also trying out an electric eTaxi system
