Celina Smith documented her process for experimenting with editing a landscape photograph in Photoshop. She rotated the page to landscape orientation to better fit the picture, placed the image on its own layer for editing flexibility, and transformed it while holding Shift to avoid pixel distortion. She also applied a black and white effect to make the textured wall more unusual and draw focus without color distraction. For her final product, she plans to use textures and black and white effects to create unease, with most photos in landscape orientation to psychologically engage viewers longer.
