The document describes the process used to create a digital artwork of fairies. The artist began by selecting a black silhouette figure and flowers to use for the fairy's skirt and wings. Using editing tools, the flowers were shaped and combined with the silhouette. This process was repeated twice more with different flowers and glow colors. Then a background was added and the fairies were arranged. Finally, the timeline tool was used to animate the fairies so it appears they are moving across the background at a realistic pace.

2. Process
First I selected a black figure to be
the base of the fairies. I then
selected flowers that I took
pictures of, to be the skirt and
another flower to be the wings. I
edited out the part of the flower I
didn’t want using the polygonal
tool and the magic wand when I
was happy with the placing of
everything I took the stamping
tool and blended the wings to the
rest of the fairy. I then merged the
skirt wings and the silhouette.
After I did this I finally double
clicked the merged layer to add a
glow to the fairy

I then repeated the
following steps 2
more times by
selecting different
flowers and the
colour of the glow.

I then chose a back
ground and placed
the fairies to look
more in place.

• Finally I used the
timeline to make it
appear like the fairies
are moving by moving
each fairy
independently on the
different sections after
I completed this I
changed the time so
the fairies look like
they are moving at a
realistic pace.
