This is a hands-on course designed for students interested in learning the basic
elements of creating a 2D Game using Scratch (developed at MIT Media Lab)
programming language
In this class students will learn to create 2D Game by adding:
Sprites
Background images
Sounds and music
Objects
Text
Pictures
Animation
Score
Timer
This is an excellent introductory course to learn to develop animation and game
programming using Scratch Program
Prerequisite: Computer Basic or equivalent
4. Benefits
Upon successful completion of this course:
1. Students will have Hand-on experience in developing 2D games
using Scratch (developed by MIT Media Lab) program.
2. Students will easily be able to move around this software.
3. Students will learn to add background music and animation in the
program.
