Engineering is fun, especially when it is hands-on. Our students build sports cars, rockets and other vehicles to compete against other universities. Join us and gain valuable experience. We have a range of specialist facilities at the School. Our wind tunnel was recently used by the British no.1 downhill skateboarding champion to fine tune his skills. Engineering research makes a real difference in areas that affect all our lives – like the quality of the air we breathe and the state of the atmosphere.
