only be able to search and
review the document’s
information (i.e.: Citation,
Abstract, DOI, etc.).
The “My Access” tab displays a list of full-text content available in your
subscription(s).

The preview screen will appear and
you’ll be able to review a select

The Search Bar
The simplest way to search the Digital Library is to use the search bar on top
of your screen. Here you are able to search your subscription by Keyword,
Document Number, Standard Number, DOI Number, and Author.
New Feature! The search bar will always remain at the top of your screen
as you navigate through your searches and documents.

When the “My Access" button next to the search box is checked, it ensures that your search is ONLY for
content that is in your subscription, and therefore will deliver results that contain documents you can
download.
You can switch off “My Access" at any time to expand the search results. Doing so will deliver full-text AND
bibliographic results.

The Advanced Search Tool
Use this function for a more targeted search.
Use the drop down list of available search fields to search for specific terms
within selected fields.

Refine search by publish date. Search by Any, Single Date,
Range, or Within a time period:

Build a Boolean search from Advanced search by choosing the operators
“and”, “or” or “not” from the drop down. Use multiple search terms to
narrow results.

Viewing Results
A dynamic set of tools make it simple for you to manage your results and dig
deeper into the available content without having to learn more advanced
searching techniques.

Also, choose to display by Short, Full, or Grid document descriptions.

A facet is a grouping of a series
of document values.
For example:
• Content Types
• Date
• Author
• Topic
• Publisher
• Affiliation

you narrow down a search
