2) As part of their coursework, the student designed a full unit plan that considered learner characteristics, cultural backgrounds, objectives, lesson plans, technology use, foundations/philosophies, and diverse assessment methods.
3) Designing the unit plan helped the student better understand the importance of accounting for diverse teaching methods and learner characteristics, such as disabilities and cognitive abilities, to ensure fair assessment and learning for all students.
