The characters in my magazines images attempt to bare resemblance to celebrity counterparts, not
necessarily easy however I feel I have achieved such a feet in a variety of ways. Now of course my
peers cannot emulate a star prominent in the music industry, however the use of both non verbal
communication and colour respectively ensure the magazine remains attractive even without the
actual figureheads you would find in a professional magazine. The retro house style that comes
apparent on the magazines front cover is consistent throughout, conveying both style and
professionalism, this coinciding with my use of pull quotes and a friendly colloquial terms ensure the
magazine is an attractive proposition from the offset. I have to cater for a monumental target
audience, but in particular the 15-22 bracket and have strived to do so thoroughly.

 Throughout my media product I have hoped to maintain the ability to attract and address
my target audience in equal measure. During the magazines design process I had a
thorough thought towards the props, colours, settings and costumes require to adhere to
what my target audience will require to be genuinely attracted to the product. The content
sourced from this design process and simultaneous photo-shoot will be prominent
throughout the magazine, however I will enter snippets as well as a relating central image
and cover lines to endear the content to the audience, attracting and engaging them
encouraging them to read on further and consume the content even further.

 With regards to mise en scene within the magazine, I accumulated clothing similar to that
of what the stars I hoped my peers to replicate would wear, before encouraging my peers
to wear such clothing. Now my target audience is relatively big, and a lot of costumes
where required to adhere to the varying music genres, and the clothing synonymous with
the respective genre. The predominant sense of clothing in this particular edition of the
magazine is the sophisticated suit, relating to the magazines retro feel and Beatles cover
line. However both bling and guitars where also on the agenda, appealing to those
intrigued by rap and rock respectively which I acknowledge have a large catchment. My
main article is relatively serious, posing serious questions to Paul McCartney a man who
would be accustomed and frankly bored of trivial questions. This serious nature reflects the
Beatles expression throughout my magazines central image, however the Polaroid images
contain more trivial pictures, similar to the article there are elements of triviality whereby the
audience can laugh as well enjoy the articles quality.

The Beatles are renown for their serious persona therefore that must be abundantly clear,
however the audience must have license to engage in a laugh, as many won’t be as
intrigued by the article as this is not their preferred genre, as there are such a variety
prominent throughout this mainstream magazine. The information determined from the
article is very intriguing indeed, emotional also and a sense of triviality may prove beneficial
ensuring the article isn’t to serious, and that the relationship between interviewer and
interviewee comes across, as it is one a light hearted nature which contributes to the
interviews whole feel.
