4. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Allows you to present your creativeness
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– Could possibly be restricted by companies in the possibilities of what you can design etc.
5. Graphic Design Production
Both follow the same colour schemes of a murky pattern which makes
the Coca-Cola overpower the attachments; the orange is specifically
“devouring” in a sense… it resonates with the festive manifestation of
delights… which thus hence gives the brand more of a “feel.”
My poser doesn’t include the bottles only a
logo - differences in representation of the
product.
6. Graphic Design Production
I would make the product in a
much more professional
manner, which includes much
more clean layout with ratios
and lines etc.
The slogan promotes directly the festive feel and has
a catchy ring to it; kind of a risk and daring “feel.”
The colour scheme is very “striking”
8. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Allows you to control the audio content of broadcasts
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
- position is dependent upon advertisements, ratings etc.
9. Radio Production
• The audio is two-piece in its transitional form; the first contains pure instrumentation to generate the atmospheric mood and the second fits in due to its use of voice; which fulfils a
decent mixture of formats – the similarities are obvious in the sampled production and the differences is inherent in the time frames.
10. Radio Production
• The change I made was the tone in its entirety; instead of promoting a Halloween feel, I opted for a summer feel due to the availability of the samples.
• The strengths are its samples, as its got inherent familiarities with the listener.
• The weakness is mostly likely the lack of stating the product in the first sample.
13. Video Game Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Connected with the fans
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– Small studios are mostly owned by large corporations… which want to generate the most profit out of a single
release… micro transactions etc.
14. Video Game Production
Both follow a side-scroll layout so both indeed feature the similar
basic mechanics.
Both follow a pattern of “climbing” or rather
“getting higher.”
2nd one is obviously more
defined in texture etc. which
promotes a much more
“smooth” gamrplay.
15. Video Game Production
I would choose to make the game more defined which generates a much
more smooth atmosphere; this entails much more detailed illustrations
compared to the work of I, in reference to textural connotations etc.
The commodity induced ethos of the product is finely represented with the
red boxes, which is relative to the red associated with the Coca-Cola.
17. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the best? Why?
• - the radio advert as it allows for such a dynamic of sounds which follows a specific pattern for frequency which entails a marketing ethos.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
• - the graphic design elements as both the videogame and radio advert has to specially capture a tone of the audience which directly affects the “professionalism”
contexts.
